Jen nodded softly. "I knew. But...I refused to tell you so that you wouldn't want to go off half-cocked and get yourselves hurt," she said softly. "I know that's no excuse, but..." She sighed and looked away.

Kari looked over at Alluka and huffed a laugh. "You want to tell me to control me my reactions again?" She spoke with a shake of her head looking back and Jen. "Please Commander, ask us again why you thought K'hysh couldn't trust you?" She said as her voice took on a cold bite to it. "But you just couldn't find it in your chest to be a human? Is that what you were going to say commander? Instead you've let ALL of us sit around and mourn someone who wasn't dead. You thought THAT was better instead of US trying to find a WAY to try and get her BACK!" She said trying her hardest to control her anger as best she could.

"Because you would have gone off half-cocked, not knowing about the enemy that attacked. Once the Battalion turned their attention to Time Force, by that time it was already too late for me to come clean," Jen said. "But with M'yrnn joining and proving K'hysh is alive, even if she's being used by the Battalion, I knew I needed to tell you the truth." She sighed softly, looking away. "I'm sorry."
"No, you're not," M'yrnn said. "If you had told them the truth in the beginning, Commander, perhaps things would be different. After this fight, I will genuinely be surprised if more of them do not leave Time Force behind. Much like my sister tried."
"I wouldn't blame them if they did," Jen said. "I'm already tending my resignation as it is, but I'm going to stay until the Battalion are all brought down and you're returned to 3034."

Alluka has a hard time processing this information. All this time she believes K’hysh is missing but instead, she has been taken away. Worst of all, the Commander keeps this from everyone since the beginning.
“I do not know what to comprehend.” Alluka begins with a whisper. “Even if you should have told us the truth to beginning, we would still be annihilated without a plan and finding their location. Just look our first battle against them. You are not wrong about this one.” She explains, her expression mixed with disappointed and understanding. "My question is what is your reason to cover this whole thing up other than trying to stop us from getting killed in an impulsive way?"
Cody thinks about his initial reaction. Does he fault the Commander for covering the whole truth? Perhaps. This isn't the first nor the last. He already plans on resigning anyway. He doesn't get the peace he wants. He believes K'hysh abandons everyone. He still does, to the extent. But with his messed up head, he's starting to wonder if saving K'hysh is worth it. The more Cody listens to the video for the second time, the difficulty it is to feel as a laugh bubbling inside of him. Like red-hot magma, popping and cracking and radiant. He covers his mouth, trying to stifle his mouth in front of everyone in this room. If anyone sees him like this, he cannot help it.

Jen sighed softly, looking at Alluka. "Because I know what it's like, losing someone you love and having them be alive later and it fucks with your head," she said. "Before I was the Pink Ranger, my fiancee Alex was killed by Ransik, but because we went back in Time and ended up changing things without realizing it, Alex came back to life. I thought, I suppose selfishly, that if I let you all assume K'hysh was dead, maybe things would have been easier on all of you. But it wasn't. I remember the first few months, how you all were. Cody seemed to accept it quickly, you and Kari didn't want to believe it, and Sojiro was mostly silent and I couldn't read him, much like now."
She looked at the Rangers, the weight of her actions starting to sink in. "Rangers, I'm truly sorry. I didn't want to keep your hopes up just in case things ended up worse then this, but trying to protect you ended up making things worse."
M'yrnn, having been watching everyone, looked at Cody and could see the struggle on the Blue Ranger's face. He would make a note to talk to the Blue Ranger later, hopefully clear things up. "Commander. I know I'm not the leader or the most experianced--being only a few months into this longer then Tanjiro, but I think you need to leave," he said. "My sister, their friend, is alive, and we need to find a way to get her back. That won't involve you. You've done enough damage today, don't you think?"

Kari looked at Alluka and gave a small chuckle shaking her head. She then looked at Jen as she explained how she herself had lost someone and it caused even more anger to erupt through the young woman's chest. Though this time, she controlled her tongue, even if it was one of the hardest things she had ever done. She looked at the silver ranger as he spoke and she finally looked at the Commander again. "Couldn't have said it better myself M'yrnn. I've only known you five seconds and already trust you WAY more then our so called Commander." She said before getting back to her feet and exiting the room. Her room, being the only place she wanted to be at the moment.

Alluka internally sighs as she watches Kari leave. As hard as it is, she does not disagree with the Commander's reason to the extent since everyone reacts in such an obvious way. Cody is right, sometimes they don’t understand the reality. Deny all they want, but disappointments come. Speaking of Cody...
It isn't until Kari says her words that cause Cody to laugh so hard. He idly wonders why the tears won’t come. It came so easily before, why won’t it come now? "I don't believe it. I just... wow. At least you tried, Commander. Not the way you wanted, but I don't lay a blame on you. Emotions get the best of everyone. Can't accept the disappointment." He sighs, trying to relax. He feels defeated that he'll never get the peace he wants. Then he stands on his feet, stopping at the entrance. "I will say this, there comes a time when it's impossible to save K'hysh. I know you all will find a way and that's fine. But for me, I just... No, thank you." He takes a deep sigh and went outside, going to pick up his nephew. He tries. He tries to be supportive of his friends and their hopes of finding K'hysh. The more time passes though, the harder it is to continue. He has to move forward with his life and not get trapped by returning ghosts.

Tanjiro was silent through the entire exchange. His throat hurt too much to try and talk, but he stood up and looked at the Commander. He took a deep breath, and though it hurt like hell, started to talk. "You...have alienated....your team. Once the Battalion....is defeated and....we're back in 3034....I quit," he said, his voice raspy and weak.
Jen shook her head. "you can't all quit."
"Wathc us," Tanjiro said, walking off of the bridge to head to his quarters.
M'yrnn looked at Jen as Tanjiro walked out behind the others, seeing Sojiro hadn't commented or barely moved. "Commander, I think it's time you go. You've done enough damage, and I will see if I can salvage what's left of my team," he said, turning his back.
"Fine..." Jen said, the hologram fading away.
M'yrnn sighed softly, shaking his head. "Perhaps tomorrow will be better..."
With a new Silver Ranger on the team, revelations about K'hysh's supposed death--and secrets kept by the Commander, the Rangers were in an odd place. Tensions were high all over, and things were only going to get worse in the coming weeks... _______________
(OOC: It's time for Kari's ep! Be doing your own things for now and we'll get to the fun stuff soon.)
It'd been two weeks since M'yrnn's arrival and joining the team, and two weeks since finding out Commander Scotts's secrets and the missing information about K'hysh, as well as learning that the former Red Ranger was being controlled by the Battalion. In the two weeks since the last battle, the Rangers were divided. Tensions were still high on the team, none of them wanting to talk about the elephants in the room when gathered.
M'yrnn sighed as he sat on the roof of Silver Guardians HQ, watching the clouds in the distance. Rumors were that a rainstorm was set to move in that afternoon, and judging by the feel of the air on his skin, the rumors weren't wrong. Laying back, the Green Martian sighed to himself as he thought about K'hysh, a memory from childhood playing in his head.
"And that's what happened anyway," M'yrnn sighed, sitting up and shaking his head. "But he died when the Battalion attacked..." __________
Across town, Tanjiro sat at the counter at Kaffine Kwickies, having been frequenting the shop since the day he almost quit the team. He sat with hsi hands wrapped around a cup of coffee, snickering when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
"Hiya, sugar," Celeste said with a smile. "By yourself again?"
"Yeah. Needed to get away from my friends for a bit," Tanjiro said. "A lot of things have happened lately, and it feels like we're falling apart."

After resting and checking in with the doctors, Sojiro was able to walk again and he decided to take a stroll into the city by flying. As much as he enjoys the Silver Guardians HQ, he wanted to get out more. But not before making a stop to the Argonite community to check on the remaining mana-possessed aliens.

In the last two week, Kari had spent the majority of her time alone. To hear how people, people that she trusted and fought with, agreed with the actions of the Commander had her heart and mind scattered with what her next few choices would be. Instead of turning to science like she would have in the past, she found herself yet again in the training taking every bit of anger and frustration she had out on a bag. Finding out that K'hysh was alive she thought would have been the most amazing thing ever, only to find out that it wasn't due to where he girlfriend was. "We will get you back babe!" She spoke to herself softly driving yet another punch into the bag.

"How is everyone doing?"
"Well... I would tell you they are alright but it is the opposite." Alluka sighs. Inside the WaveRunner, she's on video chat with her older sister Est, explains (or venting she would say) about what happened these past few weeks. Between the arrival of M'yrnn, Commander Scotts keeping the huge secret, and the team divided over how to handle K'hysh, who is inside Queen Arianas, it has been the most stressful weeks of her life... and that's saying a lot.
"Tanjiro, Soujiro, and I are doing our best but it is not enough. Kari trusts no one. Cody refuses to join in K'hysh's rescue. Almost everyone wants to quit Time Force once this is all over."
"Almost?" Est raises her eyebrow.
"I do not know Soujiro's answer. He will say in his own time." Alluka shrugs.
"I am referring to you."
"Oh. I just... I will like to leave but I cannot."
"Okay. Why cannot you? You know by now Time Force is not as innocent as it should be. You seen what has become especially towards your friends. There are other opportunities for you to utilize your skills." Est points out with a furrowed look. "Why cannot you leave?"
"Because being the Time Force officer is everything to me." Alluka says, emotions gathering on her eyes. “It is the… the only thing I have ever done that was important and that mattered, okay? Without that, I-I do not have…”
Est frowns. “No, no it is not.” She shakes her head. “You’re a partner, and a friend, and a sister, you are a lot of things, not just a Time Force officer.”
Alluka stares down. “For years,” She says slowly. “For years I have been trying to forge my own path. To make our parents proud. I have searched for what I was good at, for the place I belonged.” A couple of tears made their way down her face. “I underwent a nightmare. Everyone blames me for my failures. I realize I cannot let them down again. So I have to stay, that is where I found it, Est, it gave me everything, I cannot lose it, I cannot.”
“Alluka.” Est says softly, touching her sister's face despite being a hologram. “You are not going to lose your family, or Cody or yourself. You will find a way to make it work.”
"I hope so..." ________
Cody wonders how long will a monster attack come. Things went sour a day after that revelations. Due to the fact, he outright refuses to join in on rescuing K'hysh. One thing leads to another, an argument breaks within the team to the point words are thrown and violence occurs, leaving him with only a black eye. While he keeps his distance from Kari and M'yrnn, the only people he still talked to on a daily basis is Alluka and to most extent, Soujiro. He doesn't want Rolo to see what truly happened because it's too complex for a child like him to understand the factors even though he overhears them. So he has to protect his innocence as he can.
"Uncle Corduroy? Uncle Corduroy?"
Blinking back to focus, Cody looks at Rolo, who expression full of concern. He and his nephew are currently across town for their usual bonding time. "Oh. I am- I am sorry about that, Kid. I was just thinking." He apologizes. "So what is it about water?"
Pursing his lips, Rolo then shrugs his shoulder. "That water finds its own level,” He continues. “And people do, too. Recovery is a bumpy road, but eventually, everyone finds their equilibrium. Even if it is in another country or something. Water symbolisms are so interesting.”
Cody nods along. "Yes, yes it is. When it comes to water, there's life involve."
"Water teaches us to be brave and flows forward. The problem is people can't let go of what's holding them back without wasting time clinging to the past."
'I'll say.' Cody thinks dryly, reminding him of his situation with his team. "It's only a matter of time before they unraveled, and there's no turning back."
"Exactly." Rolo agrees. "I guess my sorcery book does its wonders after all."
"Indeed."

M'yrnn walked back into the Silver Guardians headquarters, locating the gym and seeing Kari on the punching bag. He walked in and sighed softly, knocking on the wall lightly. "Kari."

"Yes?" Kari said to the silver ranger as he entered. She didn't miss a beat in driving her fists into the bag. It was better then taking it out on her team even more then she had in the past.

"I would ask how you are faring, but considering the beating you've given the bag, I can assume not well," M'yrnn said. He walked up, staying clear enough not to get hit by the bag or Kari, and he folded hsi arms. "I promise you, I will do everything within my powers to get K'hysh back. She's my favorite sibling, and I know she means the world to you. The slightest glimpse I got of her the other day, all she did was worry about you."

After a much-needed lovely chat with her sister, Alluka steps out from the WaveRunner and flies away to the new place for surviving Agronites. Ever since that time, she actually find solace over there, easier enough to have relations with them. As soon as she arrives, she greets the people while going straight to the specific house. After gently knocking, the door opens.
“Hello. It is nice to see you again.” Alluka greets an Agronite as she is led inside. _________
Rolo always believe that adults are foolish. Even though they're older and wiser, they tend to be hit and miss on most things especially when it comes to lying. The fact that he overhears the argument amongst his uncle's team, makes him rethink his opinions. As a result he doesn't like K'hysh at all since she hurts him, his Uncle, and their friends as the evil queen. Besides his Uncle, he doesn't mention it to everyone because they still want to save her. So he keeps himself occupy with what he usually does and spending time with his Uncle today is one of them.
As Rolo continues talking with his Uncle, they stop outside at Kaffine Kwickies. "It's almost getting late. How about we eat?" The boy asks.
His Uncle looks ahead before his eyes train on Rolo. "You mind dining here?" He asks.
"I don't see why not. Gotta try new meals anyway." Rolo smirks.
Uncle Corduroy rolls his eyes. "Sure sure. How about you pick a table for us."
"Okay." Once Rolo goes in with Cody behind him, they scour around for a bit until they find the table to dine in, just behind the counter where Tanjiro is.
