Time Force Delta Squad: Trapped (S2 Game)

"Okay, so we need to take the sniper friend out. I can get a higher vantage point and distract with my bow?" Kari said looking to the others and Eric.

Vakras smirked as he watched Cody walk past him and head into the Gym. "Well, Rangers. Ready for round two? This time I won't be so courteous," he said.

"This time you're facing me too," Eric said., "Let's do this." He held his morpher up. "Quantum Power!" A burst of fire laer, he was clad in his darker red uniform, Quantum Defender in hand.

Galilee looked over as Cody ran in, and he smiled. "Well, Cody. Let me just get one thing out of the way. Once you walked in here, the only way to get out is to kill me. This whole place is rigged. Anything can come in, but the only thing that can get out is me or the Battalion. Congratulations. Someone else you care about is going to die," he said with a grin. "So. Now that I have your attention. Isn't there something you wanted to ask your uncle, Rolo?"

"Aye!" Alluka says before she morphs into the Black Ranger. "You may be after Kari and I go first." She declares, charging in to attack Vakras with her Serpent Axe.

Galilee looked over as Cody ran in, and he smiled. "Well, Cody. Let me just get one thing out of the way. Once you walked in here, the only way to get out is to kill me. This whole place is rigged. Anything can come in, but the only thing that can get out is me or the Battalion. Congratulations. Someone else you care about is going to die," he said with a grin. "So. Now that I have your attention. Isn't there something you wanted to ask your uncle, Rolo?"

Cody scowls at his old friend, not surprised by the traps he set up. Before he can answer, he hears and turn to see his nephew for the first time all day. He looks shaken, tied up against a punching bag, but not injured. "Rolo, what is he talking about?"

"I-Is it true?" Rolo asks uncertainty. "Did you kill dad and mom that day?" He is quicker than anyone else and Cody tries not to look at him, instead turning in fury to Galilee.

"How dare you!" The Blue Ranger snarls, stalking towards Galilee, but his recovered knee doesn't cooperate and causes him to stumble in front of him. "You promised not to hurt him!"

"Delta Squad! Power Up!" Kari called as her suit materialized around her body, she charged in after Alluka. "Nope, he is healing nicely after my fine work." She yelled sliding past Alluka and slicing her scythe down his back. She then quickly flipped back and fire four arrows into the same area her blade came down on. "All you are the same, try and get a rise out of the rangers. It's not going to work this time." She finished.

"You underestimate us Rangers! That is your regret!" Alluka declares, using Smokescreen to distract Vakras while leg sweeps him in order to render him.

Galilee smiled, walking forward and looked at Cody. "I never laid a hand on him. Except to pick him up and knock him out. I never physically hurt him, Cody. But I did tell him the truth. He said you tried to be a hero and save them from the fire and I started laughing. Kid really doesn't know his hero, does he?"

Cody grabs Galilee and punches him many times as he can. "Shut up! You don't even know what I'm going through! How I rebuild my life away from you!" He seethes. "I thought I trusted you."

"Uncle Corduroy!"

Hearing his nephew’s voice, Cody has no choice but to give him undivided attention. "Please... did you kill dad and mom?" Rolo asks hesitantly, hurt evident in his voice.

Looking at Rolo, the Blue Ranger’s heart aches for him. He can’t form his mouth to confirm his suspicions but one word is all the confirmation he needs. “A-Accidentally.”

Closing his eyes slowly, Rolo looks crestfallen. “With… that ‘itch’ part?” he asks hesitantly.

Cody’s eyes widen. The last thing he doesn’t want his nephew to know is his unconscionable itch. Galilee goes this far to poison him. “No. Never. I didn’t kill them with my hands.” He tells him honestly. “Whatever Galilee told you was far from the truth.”

“What about everything else? You worked with him, right?”

Dropping the battered Galilee, Cody trudges over to his nephew. “Yes, until I left him. I didn’t want to continue with that lifestyle. Had I not left, your dad wouldn’t have found me. Everything else, I was going to tell you.” He speaks with honesty. He sees his expression becoming confused, having a difficult time to wrap his head around. Time is at the essence and he realizes what he must do. “I’m getting you out. Do you trust me?”

Rolo grows uncertain until he finally nods a little. "I hope so." For the first time ever, Rolo witnesses his uncle transform into the Blue Ranger. He then watches him cut the rope down with his Delta Dualer, freeing him from the gym bag. Reaching for his uncle to hold him, he looks up at him pointing his weapon at Galilee.

Vakras growled and staggered forward from Kari's attacks, kicking Sojiro in the chest. He spun and slammed the butt of his rifle into Alluka's head, sending her backward. "Pink Ranger, I'd hate to be the woman that let two Red Rangers die," he said, firing and hitting Sojiro in the shoulder.

Eric ran in, leaping over Kari and slashing out with his Quantum Defender in sword mode. "I've heard enough of your voice!"

Alluka holds her ground, recovering quickly from the minor damage. She charges again, this time delivering melee attacks by landing a axe kick following up with a series of rapid punches and then she grabs Vakras by the back of his head to drive a knee jab directly to the face.

Galilee laughed as he got to his feet, spitting out blood. "How quickly you forget, Cody. I always had backup plans, remember?" he asked. He wiped his face, picking up a weight bar and slamming it into Cody's hurt leg. "You try and leave with the boy, or you set him down and tell him to run, this entire place goes up in flames with the three of us in it! This entire place is rigged to my DNA and heartbeat. Only myself or Battalion members can leave once they enter. You try and leave, it explodes. You try and kill me, it explodes. The only way you're getting out of here, Corduroy, is if I let you out. And you're right. It's time to finish what we started all those years ago."

He slugged Cody in the chest, grabbing Rolo and throwing him to the ground. "And this time, I'll make sure you don't walk away either. Your little nephew can watch as you burn."

Cody gets gingerly, his mouth grinning wildly as he helps Rolo up. If he can't escape with Rolo in a way he wants, he's going to make Galilee do it in a way he know how. "Rolo, remember what you've learned. Use it." He orders him.

It doesn't take long for Rolo to understand what his uncle mean. It all culminates to this. "Aye." He speaks firmly as he leaves to grab the dumb bells and hide behind the crates.

Before Galilee can get to the boy, Cody stops him by shooting him with his Delta Dualer in a brief moment. "You helped me in a way I didn't know I have. But when you hurt one of the most important people in my life, oh it's on now!" The Blue Ranger charges forward, trading blows against his former companion until he ducks under, using the momentum to slice his left fist into a hard uppercut into Galilee's exposed right side.

Feeling the hit before the pain, Kari grabbed her shoulder with a groan as the pain then set in fully. "Fuck." She cried shaking her head and getting back to her feet. "As I said before, he's not dying. Also, you assholes are like broken records." She said pulling her bow and firing several shots, her mind focused on fighting through the pain.
