Kari held her hands up as she steps back, bloody gloves still on while she takes in the scene around her. "Holy.." She said, her breathing becoming more and more rapid. "We did it." She added with tears slowly creeping down her cheeks. "Holy shit we did it." She finished with a shake of her head as a nurse helped remove the gloves so she could get cleaned up.

"You're barely in any shape to walk," Wes said. "I've been searching the city's cameras for Rolo." He took a tablet from his pocket and opened camera footage. "This was an hour ago." He turned the tablet to show Cody the footage, showing Rolo and Galilee talking before the kid tried to leave, falling and hurting himself before Galilee picked him up and knocked him out, the two disappearing from camera into the alleyway. "After that, I couldn't find them again. But SHPD got a report from a caller saying they heard glass break at a gym that's been abandoned for a couple of years. I called Silver Hills PD and told them to stand down since it was Silver Guardians business."
The expression for Cody ranges from skeptical to downright grim upon seeing the surveillance video. He knows Galilee does things twisted but he doesn't expect him to stoop so low. "I'm going to find him." He declares with a growl, stumbling away from Alluka and begin trudging to the exit. "I'm going to save him if it's the last thing I do."
"In occasions, Cody leads us to victory despite his battered state. No matter the odds are against him." Alluka says to Wes, her voice mixed with proud and concern. "Until we have Rolo back with us, Cody will not rest. Now since the abandoned gym is confirmed to be the location, we will start planning in advance." She says before she literally drags Cody back next to her. "Right, Love?"
Cody grumbles before saying yes, having to lean against his girlfriend again.

Aiko sighed. She put her hand on Karis' shoulder, giving her a small smile. "We'll get him to recovery. You get cleaned up and we'll meet you outside."

Wes sighed, shaking his head softly. "Maybe it's time we give the kid a Guardians escort," he said. he looked down as his tablet went off, and he tapped the screen again. "Jen." He swiped the screen and brought the Commander's face up on the screen in the center of the wall.
"Wes. Rangers. I didn't expect this call."
"I'm just glad you got back to me," Wes said. "We needed to talk about a couple of things."
"Starting with the Silver Ranger? Or the other 31st Century man sitting in the 21st?"
"You knew about both?" Wes asked.
"I sent the Silver Ranger. He was only supposed to monitor and report. What did he do?"
"Saved your teams asses when Tanjiro got shot in the fucking chest," Wes sadi. "Kari's with my doctors now trying to keep his ass alive, Jen. Why didn't you tell us about this?"
"Silver wasn't supposed to be seen. He was only supposed to monitor. I'll contact him and find out what's going on." Jen sighed, running her hand over her face. "As for the other man, reports were filed that the Battalion had been recruiting people from our Time to use in their plots. I didn't have any names, but just a picture." She tapped her console, bringing up Galilee's picture. "This is him."
Wes sighed. "That's the one we have."

"Sounds good." Kari said smiling over at Aiko and gave her a small nod. She walked over to the wash station and splashed water on her face to get herself to come back down out of the adrenaline. She washed the blood off of herself and got herself gathered up. She turned and exited and called to the commander over her communicator. "Tan is heading for recovery, he's gonna need some rest and time to heal." She said cutting communications.

‘And I thought we have relationship problems.’ Alluka shares an unmused expression with Cody.
Eventually Cody speaks up. “It’s definitely him, Commander. Galilee and I have history together before I left him long ago. He currently has my nephew hostage at the abandoned gym.”
"Speaking of left, someone has to relay the information to Kari. I do not want her to be in the dark." Alluka mentions her Pink friend.

After giving himself time to contemplate his escape, Rolo opens his eyes to look up and glare at Galilee and the monster. If he's going to get out of this, then he has to use his long-term survival skills to outsmart them.

Wes looked down as a communication from Kari came through. "Copy that. That's good to hear. Kari, meet us in Cody's room. We've got some info that you'll need to know."

After giving himself time to contemplate his escape, Rolo opens his eyes to look up and glare at Galilee and the monster. If he's going to get out of this, then he has to use his long-term survival skills to outsmart them.
Galilee stretched as he got up, kicking a can away from himself before looking at Rolo. "I'd reconsider trying to run away, kiddo. My associate here is a pretty good shot."
"Best marksman in four galaxies. Could shoot the wings off a fly at a thousand yards. Poppin' you in the knee at this distance wouldn't even need my scope," Vakras said, looking at Rolo with a smirk. "So yeah, don't even try it, kid. Beside, this place is rigged. Nothing but me and him in or out. Someone that ain't us crosses that barrier, well let's just say that you don't want to see your disrespectful bastard of an uncle barbecued, do you?"

"On my way." Kari called back to the Commander before making her way to Cody's room. After arriving, she stepped in and sighed a little. "What's up Commander?" She asked.

Upon seeing Kari, Cody and Alluka gives their Pink teammate a relieved smile. While they still don't understand her avoidance since they forgive her already, they'll make a mental note to tell her after.
"Hi Kari. I will do it for him." Cody says. "An old friend of mine arrives to see me, trying to pick up where we leave off before. Right now, he has Rolo hostage at the old abandoned gym." He explains briefly. "I'm going to meet with him right now."

"You do realize it could be a trap," Wes said. "I get that he's family, Cody, I do. But you can't rush in blind. I've got a survey team on the way, and we should be getting information any minute. Once we know what we're dealing with, then we can move in."
"That's a good plan, Wes. Who's leading the survey team?" Jen asked.
"Erik," Wes said. "Thankfully he knows the tech this time." He sighed, rubbing his head softly. "Once we're done here, we'll get loaded into the car and head for the gym, and hopefully by then Erik has eyes on target and information."

"Key phrase. "As far as you know." He hasn't talked to you about his past, has he? The shit he did before he started sucking up to Time Force? The people he hurt?" Galilee asked, throwing the picture on the ground. "Cody ain't all sunshine and rainbows, kid. His past is more fucked up then anyone else I've seen in a long time."
"As for me, I was waiting patiently for your uncle and the other Rangers to arrive. Yellow and your uncle opened fire the moment they saw me. It's the reason I rammed Bluey's spear into his joints. Little bastards disrespected the fight, so I fucked them up," Vakras said. "Stupid pricks. Next time I'll shoot him in the head. Because by now, little Red's dead from a shot in the chest."

The war erupting within plays out across Cody’s features. Conflicted between the need to find Rolo as quickly as possible and heeding the sound advice Wes is giving, the former amnesiac roughly rubs his neck before he uttering an exasperated, “Fine.”
Alluka can see the moment of defeat in her boyfriend’s posture and is relieved when he relents. She understands so well his need to continue for his nephew, but she also knows he cannot go on this way. The emotional and mental burdens of stress, worry, and fear is enough to tire out and it is even a wonder he hasn’t collapsed from his injuries and exhaustion. “Cody,” Alluka begins in a soft and understanding tone. “I do not like this either, and remember everyone is looking for him high and low. If there is anything we learn from Rolo is that he will figure out a way to send us a signal of sorts.”
Cody smiles for a bit, using his free hand to squeeze Alluka's. “Never underestimate the children especially someone special like Rolo.”
"Exactly." Alluka smirks firmly.

"Like what, I know he doesn't remember much after my parents died in the lab fire." He rolls his eyes, deciding to stall for a bit by moving his legs until he gets tired easily. "Again, why do you want him?"

He walked out on our group. And we had one rule. "Don't turn your back" and that's what he did. He went running into Time Force's arms with his brain all scrambled like an egg, and he became a lapdog to the System. Running around for that bitch in High Command and doing what she wanted and getting shit on all the time for it."
