"Yeah, right!" The Blue Ranger arrives to the scene by firing his Delta Dualer at Vakras before he joins his teammates, who are not too pleased by his late timing. "It's bad enough I have a horrible day so far, now I'm going to get an earful from everyone. I will not let you make things worse for my sanity, you assassin."
"I am glad you came, Cody." Alluka says to her boyfriend, making a mental note to ask him what happened earlier for him. Then she faces Vakras. "Apologies for the delay, now we begin, or at least where we leave off."
Vakras yelled as he got shot by Cody. He got to his feet, bleeding from the wound on his face from the Dualer shot. "I am literally sitting here waiting and you have to show up and start firing? The only one that's any sort of honorable is the Red Ranger!" he said, picking his rifle up. "Do none of you understand the concept of "Waiting patiently" and have to start opening fire the moment you show up? Yellow and Blue, the monst dishonorable of all of you."
Tanjiro sighed, shaking his head. "Today's turning out to be great," he said, his Lio Claws on his hands. "Then let's make this fast, Vakras."
"Kill them," the assassin said, snapping his fingers as he knelt down and started to aim at the Rangers, the Dark Waters rushing past him at finally being let loose to kill their targets. He aimed, zeroing in his sights on the Yellow Ranger. "You attack first, boy, you will be the first to fall." He pulled the trigger, hitting Sojiro in the chest.

Alluka now wonders what's really going on her boyfriend. She hasn't seen him this agitated since his memories return. Whatever is going on during his earlier patrol may have to do with it. The Black Ranger charges forward, attacking the Dark Waters from left to right. "Cody, what is the reason for your timing? You mentioned you have been distracted with an important meeting of sorts." She asks.
Switching his Delta Dualer for his Hydros Spear, Cody begins slashing the foot soldiers as a way to distract himself from the meeting with Galilee. The last thing he wants to hear are questions from his comrades. "Just chatting with an old friend. Nothing special." He explains briefly.

Kari rolled back before leaping up onto her feet. "Tan, we can get coffee after and work through it." She said laughing before pulling her bow forward and started firing arrows at the dark waters. "Let's get it done."

Tanjiro nodded, slashing at a Dark Water before kicking one back. He heard the sound of a gun firing, and he flung a foot soldier into the path, watching it explode. "OI! Don't shoot my friends, asshole!"
"Stay out of my way," Vakras said, shooting Tanjiro and sending him flying backward.

Sojiro was knocked backwards by the assassin, skidding back. Feeling the pain, the Argonite charges directly, "Now, you'd pissed me off! BATTER UP!" he said, swinging his hammer in an attempt to make a hit.

"What do you mean old friend? You told me you left them long ago." Alluka says in confusion, as she continues attacking and rolling away from the foot soldiers.
"I thought so, too. Honest!" Cody exclaims. "But I guess he returned and wanted to catch up with me, which I find it suspicious. How does he arrive out of the nowhere looking for me? He's giving me stalker vibes."
"This is odd. Is there another reason why he is looking for you?" Alluka asks, and Cody answers with a shake of his head.

After a chat with Alluka and Tanjiro, Rolo decides to head to downtown for some fresh air. While he should've accompany with an adult, he needs space to process his thoughts regarding his uncle. From what he can gather, his uncle loses his memory and disappears after the explosion that takes his dad and mom away. As a result, the boy ends up in foster care. While he does hold on to hope his uncle comes for him, the abandonment stings. He doesn't understand how and why. He thinks by reuniting with him, he has the answers he needs. But it doesn't work this way. The pieces are scattered.
Skidding his skateboard to a stop, Rolo lifts it under his arm and begins walking through the street. "Wish someone can help me with my uncle Corduroy." He sighs.

Walking down the street, Galilee chuckled as he spotted Rolo. Making his way over to the boy, he smiled. "You're Cody's nephew, ain't you?"

Vakras dodged the Hammer, kicking Sojiro in the knee and hitting him in the face with the butt of his gun. "You brought this on yourself, boy. Even if you aren't my intended target," he said, spinning his gun and firing four times, sending Sojiro flying backward. He turned, aiming at Cody before shooting the Blue Ranger in the back.
Cody feels the blazing heat on back as he staggers forward. Whipping his head around, he growls at Vakras. "You bastard! You're in for it now!" The Blue Ranger runs to the hitman, slashing him multiple times before he drives a hard kick to the chest.
"Not pleasant!" Alluka scowls before she glances at her teammates. "We have to wrap this up so we can help Cody!"

Vakras laughed, his armor causing Cody's slashes to bounce off, doing more damage to himself then the assassin with his kick. He raised hsi rifle and let the barrel compact, opening fire and blasting Cody backward with rapid fire. "Can't break my armor, boy," he said. "This kit is made out of steel from the far reaches of the galaxy, using material from Miranoi, KO-35, and Aquitar. There's no chance you can break it!"

Rolo perks up, turning his head around to meet a stranger. "Yeah. Who the hell are you?" He asks with a skeptical expression.
Galilee smiled. "I'm Galilee. An old friend of your uncle," he said. "And I could tell you stories about Cody. I tell you what, Mr. Rolo, I'm going to be meeting with him soon after he's done playing games with his Ranger buddies. You're welcome to wait with me if you'd like."

"Where there's a will, there's a way!" Kari cried leaping out of a group of dark water and slicing down with her scythe. "Please, fuck off." She said going through several spins and twists with her weapon and slicing as much as she could.

Cody is hardly aware he is on the pavement until he grits his teeth painfully after Vakras does damage to his leg, the same leg he twists it completely over a year ago. He attempts to get up when Soujiro goes over to help him up. "I will be. As soon as he's done." He scowls. "I unfortunately have plans after this one."
As soon as Alluka finishes off Dark Waters, she dashes to Vakras, landing a drop kick to the back before using her Smokescreen on his face in order to render him. "You leave my man alone, you Viking pest!"

Galilee smiled. "I'm Galilee. An old friend of your uncle," he said. "And I could tell you stories about Cody. I tell you what, Mr. Rolo, I'm going to be meeting with him soon after he's done playing games with his Ranger buddies. You're welcome to wait with me if you'd like."
Rolo eyes Galilee even more, unsure if he's the real deal. His uncle hasn't tell him about this guy, and even this is the case he doesn't think he be safe with him. "I dunno. Old friend or not, I'm not suppose to talk to strangers." He says firmly, stepping back a little. "And you're pretty strange."

Vakras laughed, despite the smokescreen in his face. He turned and grabbed Alluka's leg, slamming her into the ground. "You're Umekian. Haven't seen one of your kind in a few decades. Interesting to note that your powers work with your suit," he said, kicking the Black Ranger in the side and sending her flying. He spun his rifle around and fired again twice, hitting Tanjiro in the helmet and sending the Red Ranger to the ground, the helmet shattering as the second blast hit Tan in the chest, his suit shorting out.
"Ah!" Tanjiro yelled, hitting ground before he felt himself surrounded by Dark Waters, unable to reach his morpher as he tried to fight back and get to his feet.

Vakras laughed, despite the smokescreen in his face. He turned and grabbed Alluka's leg, slamming her into the ground. "You're Umekian. Haven't seen one of your kind in a few decades. Stopping herself with Float, Alluka then flies to Tanjiro's direction, managing to grab his morpher before she slices the foot soldiers out of way. "Tanjiro!" She yells, handing the morpher to him.
Without even waiting, Cody steadies, favoring his other leg with the help of his spear before he jumps forward, delivering a rotating roundhouse kick following up multiple knife-hand strikes and then he uses his spear impale Vakras.

Galilee chuckled. "That's a good policy," he said. "And everyone's a little strange in their own way." He smiled and stepped back, taking a picture from his pocket and holding it out. "See? Me and your uncle with some other friends way back."
Rolo's eyes blink, seeing the picture of his younger uncle. "I-I didn’t know. Uncle Corduroy hadn't told me about that. He never told me about his life except mentioning my dad." He says in shock. "This wasn't made out of Photoshop, right?"

"TAN!" Kari called watching the red ranger go down. Slashing and slicing, she made her way to the red and black rangers and kneeled beside him. "We got your back." She said blocking some of the onslaught. She shifted her scythe into it's bow form and started firing at close ranger knocking the dark waters away as much as she could.
