Tanjiro nodded, sighing softly. "Hope I can live up to what she started," he said.
"But you just have to be yourself, right?" Rolo wonders aloud, looking at Tanjiro with a curious expression. "Like you don't have to live up her standards."
"It may be." Alluka replies before she shifts her glance to Tanjiro. "Try not to push yourself. You may think you can live up to the standards, but you already have. As Rolo mention, you just have to be yourself."

Cody remains vigilant as he drives around the city. So far nothing's happening, but it doesn't mean it's a good thing. While he has the answers he wanted, he feels empty. As soon as he parks his bike and shuts it off, he went for a walk. He focuses on the steps to quiet his brain down. But then, he hears the sound again and this time it's getting closer. Stopping his tracks, the Blue Ranger looks around in different directions until his eyes land on an alley behind him.
"Hey, I know you're here! Come out with your hands up!" Cody yells, gripping his Delta Caller.

"Come on, Cody. You wouldn't shoot me," a man said, walking out of the alley with his hands up. "You wouldn't pop an old friend, would you?"

"Admiration is not a bad thing. It is nice to continue the legacy." Rolo ponders, listening to the conversation. On one hand, looking up to someone isn’t bad. He looks up to his uncle after his dad tells stories about him. He wants to live up to the middle namesake his dad named him after his aunt. On the other hand, he's not sure. "Wish I do the same for my dad. I never get a chance to because he's gone." Rolo sighs solemnly, moving the plate he has eaten to the side. ________ "Come on, Cody. You wouldn't shoot me," a man said, walking out of the alley with his hands up. "You wouldn't pop an old friend, would you?"Cody blinks rapidly. For a second, he can't comprehend what he is seeing, who he is seeing. That voice. That face. It can’t be… "Galilee?" "Sorry for the scare, buddy. Forgot you startle easy." ___________ On Arianas' ship, the Empress walked down the hallways, hearing the sounds of snarling and fighting in the cells around her. She slammed her hand on the wall, silencing the battling. "We have started our newest operation against the Rangers. Plans are in place for the Blue one. I need a volunteer to distract the others." "I'll do it," a voice said, a figure walking forward, draping a hand out of his cell. "Bein' cooped up in here ain't a pleasant vacation, Majesty. It's hell having to listen to the snarling and primal urges around this place while waiting for the Dark Water to kick in and make them normal." "Name?" Arianas asked. "Vakras. Apparently this armor can withstand a punch from the Argonite on the team, probably withstand some of their weapons. Let me handle them." "Very well," Arianas said, stepping back and waving her hand, the cell bars disappearing and letting Vakras walk through. "Take the Dark Waters with you, find a way to raze the city to the ground." "Yes, ma'am," Vakras said, walking away. "And you think that guy's gonna beat my team? You're delusional.""Shut the fuck up and disappear already," Arianas snarled, eyes glowing red. "Why can't you just go away?" "Bodyjacking isn't easy, is it, bitch? Even with your fucking tech. Soon as I get control, I'm telling my guys what's going on and you're going down.""Like hell," Arianas snarled, lifting up and flying down the hallway, bursting into the lab and rummaging around, trying to find something.

"N-No, well, y-you..." Cody can't wrapped his head around seeing his old friend again. To him, things seem to be fine until he decides to leave quietly without them knowing. It is then that Ephraim find him, scarred but coherent, and takes him back in. He wonders if Galilee is ever okay afterwards. But this afterwards though, it doesn't make sense. Once the Blue Ranger clutches his wrist to stop the urge to scratch himself, he is coherent enough to ask his oldest friend. "How d-did yo- How did you find me, Galilee? It's been years since we saw each other."

"That's true. However, I do know that Cody is private for most things. There's more we don't know about him, but we can't push him like that," Sojiro said, his face narrowing as he looked at this drink.

"Will you like to talk about it, Rolo?" Alluka asks the boy kindly.
Rolo shrugs again. “Dunno,” he mumbles, his hands shift restlessly on the table. He’s biting his nails, Alluka realizes. Just like his uncle. "Not sure if I'm ready."
Alluka gently nudges the toe of her boot against his sneakered foot beneath the table. "Take the time you need. You do not have to do it right now. When you are ready, you can talk to any of us."
"Like you guys?" Rolo asks shyly, and Alluka smiles reassuringly. "Aye, like us."
After a few minutes, Rolo blows a sigh. "I wonder what's taking Uncle Corduroy so long. I want to see him."

"I'm sure he's ok. One thing I've learned about Cody is that he likes to look at every option and explore every outcome before he settles on something," Tanjiro said with a small smile. He got up and stretched, rubbing his eyes. "Tell you waht. Why don't the three of us go and get something to drink while we wait? Could even bring him something back."

Cody blows a heavy sigh. "Here and there. Thought it faded after mom and dad were killed. It resurfaced for the past few years now." He admits. "I do have my girlfriend and my friends here to help me relax. It's more pleasant than I ever have."

Rolo considers the option. "I guess I can do that." He says as he climbs down from his seat.
Alluka is glad she finishes her breakfast before she places the emptied plates in to the sink. Like Rolo, she wonders what is taking her boyfriend so long. A part of her hopes he doesn't get into trouble.
"Everything is now put away. We are ready to go." The Umekian says with a smile.

You itch, scratch it." He leaned against the wall, folding his arms. "So, you up for some fun? Or did joining Time Force take all the fun out of you?"

Tanjiro smiled softly, patting Rolo's shoulder as he walked out of the kitchen. He looked at Alluka, knowing what was on her mind. He hoped Cody was alright, and if he got into trouble, he'd have the smarts to call them.

Vakras appeared in town, chuckling as he drew a rifle from his back. He stood on the sidewalk, aiming at a car and firing, sending the car flying before it exploded. "Come on out, Rangers!"

You itch, scratch it." He leaned against the wall, folding his arms. "So, you up for some fun? Or did joining Time Force take all the fun out of you?"
Cody recalls the flashes of their first meeting. Galilee finding him crying alone outside of the house he used to live with his parents. He gives him the comfort he ever longs for since Ephraim leaves to college with his girlfriend. At the time, Cody does his best to bury the itch and don’t let it out. But Galilee reminds him to let himself feel.
Every time Cody thinks about old phantom wounds – places where his parents expect from a so-called miracle and to the ghost of Claire – will itch. He feels it even more now that he recalls earlier this morning regarding K'hysh and her messages. Exhaling, Cody shakes his head and walking over to his old friend. "Time Force doesn't always act as joy vampire counseling. While I question their choices, I am giving them a second chance for now." He explains. "Why do you want to go back to where we left off?"

"I haven't talked to her in a day or so. She keeps at Silver Guardians when she's not here." Tanjiro sighed, tucking his hands in his pockets and biting his lip. He knew the Black Ranger deserved the truth, and he turned to face her. "She still feels guilty about what happened in that last fight. She knows she needs to talk, but she's nervous and thinks you two are upset at her for what happened."

Circuit looked up as he started to check the city, seeing Vakras in downtown. "Oh, no. Not good," he said. "Rangers, there's a new monster in town. I'm sending hte location to your Morphers."
