I'm just wondering if the Super Sentai franchise does a lot of anniversary movies how come there was never one for Magiranger?

It might be because some of the old cast members didn't want to come back. I was actually just surprised that we're getting an Abaranger one considering AbaYellow's actress had retired from acting years ago. But she for some reason agreed to come back to take part in this. It all just comes down to if the main core cast wanting to come back for the folks at Toei to even consider it.

It's seems the requirements to getting an anniversary is if 1) the series was popular and 2) if the actors are willing to return (Like with Abaranger they did try to do a 10 Year Afer movie but couldn't due to how difficult it was getting everybody together). With Magiranger, it seems it was due to various reasons: Green had changed agencies, Pink lives in France, and Blue & Shine had retired after the series ended.

That's a shame I really liked Magiranger a hell of a lot more than I liked Mystic force it would've been nice to get an anniversary movie
