There's a difference between wanting representation and making the statement that the show should have given us representation because having two Caucasian actors play characters whose Sentai counterparts were so traditionally Japanese in both appearance and culture was "bad" or a "mistake"; the former expresses a valid wish (something that I, as a Caucasian man with Japanese ancestry myself, would have appreciated), while the latter takes a very valid creative decision and casts judgment on it arbitrarily in a manner that is, as noted, racist, dismissive, and demeaning.

Well still which ever way it would have been nice to get Asian rep for red. As past Asian characters where black, blue, yellow rangers. Just would have been an apt season to finally get a Asian actor as red ranger. As that hasn't happened in series.
