This news regarding his health comes in addition to having fought vocal chord paralysis in 2021. Mizuki is receiving therapy for his voice and motor functions and had surgery this past month to remove the growth in his lungs. Currently the chemotherapy is working and Mizuki is focusing on getting in better health and planning his 50th anniversary celebration as a singer."
