Probably something similar of a post existed like this in the old home but this kinda sounds new to me.
What super sentai series or Kamen Rider series do you regret watching and spending a whole year watching?

Shinkenger and Magiranger. I persisted with them hoping for improvement but they disappointed me. Their adaptions were good though.
I haven't really regretted watching a KR season yet but Gaim came close. It was a drag with some redeeming factors that I enjoyed.

^ I need to look that up now. Shinkengerand Magiranger. I persisted with them hoping for improvement but they disappointed me. Their adaptions were good though. I haven't really regretted watching a KR season yet but Gaim came close. It was a drag with some redeeming factors that I enjoyed. Really?! I loved shinkenger as it was my first ever sentai series I got introduced to and watched in full plus a lot of positive response to the season from a lot of fans. Interesting you didn't like Shinkenger though. Magiranger i'm with you on. Not that I regret it but I just forget about it unintentionally.

^ People are usually biased towards their first series like my first KR was Decade and I thought it was good. However I acknowledge some of its flaws like the anticlimactic ending forcing people to watch the Movie War. With Shinkenger, I found Takeru too aloof and Genta is just downright intolerable.
I tried to watch Shougeki Gouraigan since I like the writer but I could barely make it through the first episode of that crazy show.

Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger, Kamen Rider Ghost, Kamen Rider Hibiki and Kamen Rider Den-O are the only shows that I have regretted watching.
Oh and Sh Ranger. Personally, I actually thought Shinkenger was better than its' Power Rangers counterpart simply because I really the actual stories that Yosaku Kobayashi was trying to handled with the whole modern-day Samurai lord and retainers motifs of the series. And unlike Jayden, Takeru does have an actual story-arc and character-growth and development as opposed to his counterpart having no character-developmentat all and only that his sister, Lauren is the one who has all the development in her character. This is why I have an issue with Samurai/Super Samurai being an example of missing the whole point as to why the post-Zordon and Disney-era seasons are a lot better than any of the Neo-Saban era seasons.

The Sentai I regret watching are Gekiranger (did not like that series), Go-Busters (same as Gekiranger) and Zyuohger (storylines were boring).

Honestly none. Why would I ever regret watching one? I feel like every series I've seen, regardless of how good or bad it was, had something I could get out of it.

Well, I suppose that if anyone could just watch a few sentai shows without any form of negativity in them, then that's okay, with me?! But, I can't really say the same thing for most anime TV shows and certain comic book story-arcs that were handled and written so very badly. Like the DC New 52 relaunch, Identity Crisis and possibly the DiC and Cloverway English dubs of Sailor Moon.

But to add to it if a series is that bad I'm never gonna finish it anyways so no regets. Can't imagine seeing something till the end if I hate it. This is why Wild Force remains unfinished on my netflix.

I feel similarly to CD. I'm on a journey to watch all of the previous sentai seasons, no matter how good or bad they are, because I want to have said I've done it, and I want the experience of rewatching Gokaiger having seen all of the previous shows. I'm also doing this out of curiosity, and out of wanting to have my own opinion on these shows. I'm gonna watch every sentai, so I could never really regret watching any of them. I think Hurricaneger, Ninninger, Megaranger, and Carranger are all terrible, but still, no regrets.
As for KR, I'm doing a watchthrough right now, and I've only seen Wizard-current, and I'm watching Fourze now, and I've yet to see a KR show that I outright dislike. I don't even hate Ghost. I just think it's okay. Like I said about SS, I'm gonna watch every KR show anyway, so I'm never gonna have any regrets.

Agreed. I want to be able to say 'I've seen that', even though there are some I will probably never watch again. The bad ones make you appreciate just how amazing it is when they get one just right, and everything that goes into the history.
