Good list. I wouldn't put Shell Shocked nº 1, even if I like TMNT, probably third or fourth. But good list overall. I'm actually agreeing with most of the positions....

Alright so to me the “Rangers from two teams meet each other” episodes and the “an assortment of rangers from multiple seasons come together” episodes are two completely different beasts so I had to rank them seperately.
2 season team-ups:
1. To the Tenth Power of Pink - This one will always be the best to me because It’s the only team-up that was actually relevant to the plot of the season. The rest are pretty much just pure fanservice, which is fine, but the way this one is vitally important will always put it on top.
2. Reinforcements from the Future - Similar to the above, while this isn’t plot relevant for Wild Force, it’s actually like the true finale of Time Force, which was cool. Plus Jen’s iconic entrance 🙌
3. Thunderstorm - The second and still to this day final team-up to feature two teams I actually like meeting each other. And it has the awesome unmorphed fight scene between the two trios.
4. History - I know a lot of people dislike this one because of how rude the SPD team is but as someone who thinks that they’re actually all really snotty all of the time that’s precisely why I like it. These seven hugely arrogant, government backed, highly trained, futuristic tech assisted agents got humbled by three average teenagers from 2005. Plus I like that the DT rangers actually get character focus and we get an update on their lives since their season, which future team-ups have just…stopped doing.
5. The Poisy Show - A really fun bonus episode for Ninja Steel that has the meta factor of the two Sudarso brothers teaming up. The Dino Charge villains returning was the perfect epilogue to both seasons and Koda is always a delight.
6. Finders Keepers - A fun team-up, but it lacks the teams actually, well, teaming up. The morph scene and roll call was awesome and much missed since like, ‘04, but after that the teams split up and do their own thing.
7. Always a Chance - It’s really awesome seeing Adam morph again. That said, he contributes very little in the subsequent battle.
8. Wormhole - This one’s alright, but unlike History which had character focus they were clearly just cramming in as much fanservicey action as they could.
9. Rangers of Two Worlds - This one was aight. Basically set up the prototybe for future team-ups but not super exciting.
10. Time for Lightspeed - A resounding meh. Too short and a lacklustre battle.
11. Trakeena’s Revenge - The narrative was all centered on a random girl, and some of the worst lines in the entire franchise. “No such thing as monsters” and “My mom said to never pull the fire alarm unless it’s an emergency!!!” Sis, if this doesn’t constitute an emergency to you then what does???
12. Clash of the Red Rangers - So lame. Scott in suit the whole time and they tack on the extra battle with pig guy and need a reason to bench Antonio and Scott for it. Dumb af.
Honorable mentions: Idk if these technically count but I would also put “Source Code” (Beast Morphers/Dr. K) and “Unexpected Guest” (Dino Fury/Mick) in between spots 9 and 10.
Multi-season crossovers:
1. Forever Red - All the returning rangers got great lines and awesome fight scenes. The villains being a callback to MMPR + Zeo was great. The ten of them morphing sequentially and the red explosion was the highlight of my elementary school life. My only hangup was SERPENTERA was destroyed by Cole’s lame mini-bike.
2. Once a Ranger - This one is also great if you’re a Disney Era fan. They made excellent selections for who to bring back and each ranger got great character moments, and the unmorphed fight scenes that featured all of their powers and skills was fanservice at it’s absolute best. The final battle also combined each pairings weapons and skills in awesome ways. My only hangup was THE SON OF RITA AND ZEDD was destroyed by the lameass Sentinel Knight suddenly becoming corporeal and fighting when they could have just let Adam handle it.
3. Grid Connection - This one is pretty cool, an actual crossover plot where villains from MMPR and RPM are inspired by the lore of Dino Charge to create a new ultra-beast-dino-zord to wreck havoc, and also the way BM and DC technology comes together to solve their problems. The big issue here is all the suit only rangers which lead to a lot of badly dubbed fight footage. Still, it was enjoyable.
4. Dimensions in Danger - A much hyped and overpromoted crossover battle where… barely anything happened. No crossover plot whatsoever, a rushed insta morph, no relevance for 2/3 of the returning actors, and the villain was any old MOTW.
5. Legendary Battle - A much hyped and overpromoted crossover battle where…absolutely nothing happened. No crossover plot whatsoever, no morph scene, no dialogue for half the returning actors, heck not even a villain to fight. Honestly pathetic and I can see why Haim fired Tzachor over this.

Personally, I am not going talking about anymore Power Rangers Team-up or crossover events. Unless, it's stuff that is happening in either fan-films, or in the video games, or in comic books. Like Shattered Grid, MMPR VS Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or MMPR VS Justice League, etc. Any crossovers that happening in the TV show, doesn't really apply to me anymore since there is hardly any televised Power Rangers team-up episodes in the past 20 years not since Forever Red. Now, if we're talking about the Sentai VS movies or the Kamen Rider crossover movies, that would be different.

Writing this out made me realize how varied the team ups were. There were some high highs, but there were some very low lows.
1. Thunderstorm - Absolutely love it. It did the Ranger vs Ranger thing extremely well. Having the Main DT rangers vs the Main NS rangers while also giving Blake, Hunter, and Cam a side quest so they still feel important was a great way to showcase both teams.
2. Reinforcements from the Future - A very close second. They blended the two stories of Wild Force and Time Force together so well, and it was just so satisfying to watch as a fan of both seasons. It honestly felt like instead of the old team coming back to help the new ones, the new team was the one who was assisting while Time Force took the center stage, but not in a way that made the Wild Force team feel overshadowed. It all flowed very well.
3. The Tenth Power and Power of Pink - Another great one. Not only does it matter to the story, as pointed out above, but it's just a damn good episode. It was a brilliant move to bring back the Psycho Rangers, and it was a very good use of a two-parter because they got a lot of the action done in the first episode and we got to show both teams together more in the second.
4. Forever Red - Is it perfect? No. Does it still kick ass? Absolutely. Seeing all those red rangers back together, getting a badass unmorphed AND morphed fight scene. Yeah, I think the climax with the motorcycle is dumb, but it's still such a cool episode. Plus, they took the time to show everyone's morph sequence, and that is an important detail that most teamups these days seem to skip.
5. Always a Chance - While Zack is my favorite MMPR ranger, I also am a big fan of Adam. So seeing him back, and seeing him take on kind of a mentor role for Carlos, led to a really solid episode. Plus, it also gave us a good amount of focus on him so he didn't just seem like a prop. A good episode.
6. History - I like when team ups put in effort to show where exactly everyone has been since their season ended, and this episode took the time to do that, (at least for the main three) and even told us where they would end up later. It's definitely the superior of the two SPD/DT team ups.
7. True Blue to the Rescue - Just a quick fun team up. It was cool to see Justin get a shot to fight with his team again after deciding to stay on earth, plus I always liked the exchange he and TJ had about TJ being blue.
8. Finder's Keepers - The best team-up of the modern PR era in my personal opinion. I think they would've been better off putting the two teams together in the action more, but still a pretty solid team up, especially for the time it was in.
9. Ranger of Two Worlds - I think it's a very middle of the road team up. I feel comfortable putting it right around the middle. It does what it needs to do, just doesn't stand out a ton to me outside of being the first full team team up.
10. The Poisy Show - It made what could've been just another boring holiday clipshow into something more fun with the Dino Charge villains returning and a team up with the Sudarso brothers. I just wish they could've had an actual fight scene together instead of an insta-morph.
11. Time for Lightspeed - Not terrible, just far too short. Very rushed. If they would've had another episode to let things breathe, I think it'd be quite a bit higher.
12. Wormhole - Another one that's just... fine. Like I said before, History was a better episode. But I guess it was cool to get the full team in on the action this time, even with a fake Tommy.
13. Trakeena's Revenge - Yeah, way too much focus on the random kid. It had a lot of potential, but a lot of it just didn't work.
14. Once a Ranger - This is one I'm so torn between liking and hating. It checked so many of the boxes that team ups need to check. They brought back characters I love, they did the big morph sequence and roll call moment, they had a badass fight with both teams. They even had other great moments like the warehouse fight and Adam using the defender vest. It just... also had a lot of stuff I can't stand. Awful dialogue, nonsensical writing, and the main team quitting halfway through. It just left me wanting the veteran rangers to take over for the rest of the season.
15. Clash of the Red Rangers - I don't know why they felt the need to try and adapt two movies within a 1 hours special, but the result was weird. Having Scott in-suit the entire time was bad enough, but then to send the Samurai team to the RPM dimension, have them interact with the rest of the RPM rangers, and we get to see none of it, was just annoying. They already had a fake Antonio, why not just do what they did with every following team up and have the rest of the RPM team come back and just not say anything? Yeah, it would've been awkward, but at least it would've been a full team up.
16. Dimensions in Danger - I hyped the hell out of this episode when it dropped. I take almost all of it back and I like to think I've gotten better about judging things just based on hype in the moment. It's just... not good. It's got way too much focus on Tommy and a ton of the main cast gets shafted for it. The fight between Tommy and his clone was pretty cool, I guess. And I liked moments of the final fight. But... that's about it. Using the footage from the Ninninger movie was so pointless and just took time from what people were actually wanting to see. I think the only thing we learned from that episode was Tommy has a son named JJ and they half-ass confirmed that Kat is his mother within the last few seconds of the episode, kinda sorta. It was just... bad.
17. Grid Connection - This is probably the most disappointed I've ever been in a team up. They honestly had a pretty solid lead in, which gave me hope. Then they fumbled at the last minute with the tacked on moral, the horribly butchered final fight, the awful dubbing, and the complete disrespect of Dino Thunder. Seriously, there was no reason Dino Thunder had to get shafted so bad, which makes the whole thing worse.
18. Legendary Battle - Yeah, not a lot to say. They hyped up a big anniversary battle, they had a ton of returning cast members... and did so little with them. It was an embarrassingly short fight, too much of which was spent on the Megaforce rangers talking about how "cool" it was to be fighting along side the Legendary Rangers. I know Megaforce is an easy target to pick on, but personally I think this one deserves the title of worst team up.
If I had to include Shell Shocked in there, I'd probably put it at Number 4, just because it's some dumb fun.

only thing we learned from that episode was Tommy has a son named JJ and they half-ass confirmed that Kat is his mother within the last few seconds of the episode, kinda sorta. It was just... bad. I somewhat wonder if they were worried about pissing Tommy/Kimberly shippers off by being blatant about Tommy and Kat being married? I didn't even notice the hand holding at the end until it was pointed out its so blink and miss. I do recall Sutherland stating that she was suppose to appear in Dino Thunder as Tommy's wife but Disney didn't want to pay to fly both JDF and Sutherland down to New Zealand. I wonder if that had gone through would this episode be less afraid of acknowledging that Tommy and Kat did get married sometime after Turbo? Honestly, even the way they threw Jason into the episode felt like a really shoddy fanfic. And then Jason appeared from the vortex! The use of veteran Rangers in Legendary Battle deserves criticism but at least it was nice to see some of them help with civilians in distress before the big battle. But Dino Thunder literally feels like they're only there in Grid Connection because editing around them would have been impossible. Like okay Jason brought the other MMPR but what is Dino Thunder doing there? From my understanding James Napier has no interest in returning to the franchise now that's he's a somewhat reputable New Zealand film director but Hasbro really couldn't be bothered to contact Kira or Ethan's actor to get summoned alongside Jason to justify the Dino Thunder Rangers showing up? I think I'm the only one who likes this episode..okay. Some of the veteran Rangers were obviously wasted but it was at least nice for Carter and Dana to get to appear when their season got shafted otherwise by Super Megaforce and Karone's bit in the extended version was a nice callback to her "I don't want to be a Power Ranger anyways!" line from Invasion of the Body Switcher (one of the few times it felt like someone bothered to acknowledge past seasons beyond superficial callbacks) The real problem is having the big battle AFTER the Rangers defeated the main villain feels like such an afterthought. If anything Legendary Battle should have been the season premiere or even the Adjectiveless Megaforce finale since that was the actual 20th anniversary season and it would allow Robo Knights death in Vrak is Back to stick

I wonder if that had gone through would this episode be less afraid of acknowledging that Tommy and Kat did get married sometime after Turbo? Maybe that had something to do with it, but I feel like it was more just them not caring. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a last minute choice to even include it. That's the part that bugs me the most. Ethan's actor wanted to come back. He was asking to come back. He was sad he didn't get an invite. Both Elsa and Zeltrax's actors appeared in Beast Morphers as different characters. They could've had some kind of proper Dino Thunder representation in there, it was a choice not to, and that's super frustrating to me. For what it's worth, I think showing the veteran rangers helping civilians was a good way to reintroduce everyone. Showing they're still being heroic even all these years later was a nice idea. And Carter and Dana were actually doing something in-character, so that's always cool. But I agree about it feeling like an afterthought. They shot original footage of the rangers fighting X-Borgs anyway, so I feel like they could've thrown the Big Bad in there to. Just like in the extended version, say he survived his ship blowing up and is leading an army of X-Borgs, the rangers are feeling tired but aren't giving up, the veteran rangers show up and they all charge into battle together. They had all the suits there, shoot a moment or two where some past rangers attack the big boss who's name I can't remember off the top of my head. Have the Megaforce rangers finish him off and boom. Problem solved.

Awful dialogue, nonsensical writing, and the main team quitting halfway through. It just left me wanting the veteran rangers to take over for the rest of the season. Or...just make an entirely different season that focused more on Adam, Xander, Bridge, Tori and Kira recruiting Tyzonn and Rose to go on special missions across the galaxy and maybe visit other planets. Which would be fine in my opinion instead of having everything be grounded on Earth for bazillion time in this franchise. Unless it's like a reverse-adaptation of Kyuuranger where now our main heroes are actually liberating other planets before the main enemy forces decide to invade Earth for the final arc of the show. Or like in Power Rangers in Space where Astronema's forces are distracting the rangers by sending out monsters to attack Earth while Dark Specter and the United Alliance of Evil are moving Zordon to another location where he can't be found across the galaxy. But yeah, the Overdrive team giving up at the drop of a hat despite the fact that they still have their civillian powers and could easily get back in the field and prove to the veteran team that they may not have their ranger powers, but they can still fight evil, regardless. That was just f@#$'n stupid.I mean, Toby McGuire's Spider-Man had a better reason why he quit being Spider-Man in his second movie. These guys are just being stupid for the sake of being stupid. It's no wonder why the Overdrive team never came back for future crossover events. Not that anyone even asked for them to come back. Also, Thrax's design for his face looks like s%&t and his voice sucks. I guess the only excuses as to why we didn't get to see the Samurai Rangers interact with the rest of the RPM Rangers on-screen are because of budget cuts, obviously. As well as the fact that the actors of RPM were too busy working on other New Zealand-related movies and TV shows at the time. Or were finding new jobs in other things besides acting. Hell, some of them had joined the Screen Actors Guild at the time, such as Eka Darville (Scott Truman/RPM Red Ranger or just simply, Ranger Red) who only came back to do voice-over work for the "team-up movie" at the time. So, that explains why none of the RPM Rangers were even present for the team-up and why we only saw Scott interact with the Samurai Rangers while still wearing his ranger suit. Sucks, doesn't it?! Antonio's actor, Steven Skylar wasn't event present at the time of the team-up's production, so they hired a random stunt actor and a voice actor who sounds nothing like the original actor, obviously to play Antonio's character. So yeah. "Clash of the Red Rangers was a seriously rushed job, dude. Just like the entire series of Power Rangers Samurai/Super Samurai, itself....one big rushed job. And I hate it when a movie or a TV show feels like a rushed job in its' production. Well, would you believe me if I told you that two of the original actors from Dino Thunder (Connor and Kira) don't even want to come back to franchise for personal reasons, even if it was for like a voice-over job which would require the production and Hasbro to pay these actors a lot of $$$$ to come back and reprise their roles?! Because like I said, the main problem with producing something like Grid Connection has always been about one thing.....money!!! (*cue Shane McMahon's WWE entrance theme!*) And you have to understand that as a fan and as a human being, not every actor from the past seasons of Power Rangers has to come back because they have personal reasons why they don't want to return to the franchise, especially if some of these actors have better careers in real-life and/or if they have families of their own. Does gat seem far to you to have everyone drop what they're doing just for this one little "get-together?!" Only a few individuals who are still in good terms with the fans would want to return if they have a free schedule. But for others like Pua Magasiva (Shane Clarke/Red Wind Ranger) or Rick Mendina (Cole Evans/Red Wild Force Ranger), yeah they literally unavailable to come back because one of those actors is dead and the other well....he's an ex-convict. So, that's a big "Hell no!!!" Now, if I were Hasbro, I would skip adapting Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters into an episode of Power Rangers and just make an adaptation of Go-Busters vs. Gokaiger instead or...just skip the team-up episodes entirely.

Because like I said, the main problem with producing something like Grid Connection has always been about one thing.....money!!! (*cue Shane McMahon's WWE entrance theme!*)Believe it or not, Dino Thunder actually had three original actors. Kevin Duhaney, Ethan's actor, wants to return. He was disappointed that he wasn't called for an appearance after seeing posts about Grid Connection. They very easily could've had at least one ranger from every returning team, and they didn't do that. There was an actor willing to return and they instead chose to screw over Dino Thunder. That was a stupid move. That's a great argument to something nobody said.

Yeah, it ultimately feels like Hasbro playing favorites towards a Nickelodeon era season (Dino Charge) and MMPR. There was no real reason to have most of the Dino Charge Rangers brought back. The guy that plays Chase lives in New Zealand just bring Chase back as the sole Dino Charge representative and they definitely could have afforded to fly Kevin Duhaney and ASJ both down to represent their respective seasons

They had Michael Taber and Camille Hyde just do voiceover work for Riley and Shelby in Finder's Keepers. They couldn't have just done that for a single Dino Thunder Ranger? Yeah, that's just dumb.
