sad to see it go. But it was a given with the disney fox deal. Plus it wasn't doing that great in ratings either.

My post said there’s a chance Disney+ could pick up The Gifted for a third season like how Clone Wars is picked up a seventh season.

It well plus The Gifted has a very huge fan base that wants The Gifted to continue.

Now sure there a chance that could happen. Now I am sure Disney plus will have it on there along with other old fox stuff. But I doubt they will get another season. More so cause marvel studios likely want to have a clean break from fox mutant shows and films for a bit. Once legion on fx final season airs. So the whole x brand can be a clean slate for what ever marvel plans to do with them in the films. And then probably down the road get a new TV series. Probably something along the lines of say mutant x (comics), x force, or probably x factor.

If Disney+ could pickup the seventh season of the Clone Wars then they could pickup the third season of The Gifted.

Dark clone wars is in a different case then gifted is. Plus like I pointed out with its ratings haven't been to hot. Plus with marvel getting the x world and ff world of characters back. It makes a lot of sense marvel would like to clean slate the whole x brand. So they can put there mark on it.
Plus it's been said marvel going to hold off on x brand for a bit. To you know have have a clean break from fox films and shows. To how ever they are going to add them to the mcu films and future shows be it like agents of shield and cloak and dagger and runaways by marvel tv. Or be done like the upcoming Disney + marvel studios control shows.
Again I am sure the gifted like other fox shows are going to be put up on service like say old xmen cartoons too I hope. So we can reward gifted and others. But I doubt we will see it get a new season.

Would that include Orville? They were due to get Series III. Orville is also Fox.

Orville is getting a 3rd season. That was already confirmed. Also I believe it already on hulu. So probably be staying there. As for gifted it's totally over and likely be on either service for time bearing.

Um I doubt a petition do anything. Pkus like I said I pretty sure I read it was picked up for another or is likely to be. I just don't have any links handy.
