"In that case, let's get out of here before that check bounces." Harrison said with a smile. "I could use the R&R in the meantime."

The Rangers teleported back to the base, Dahlia looking over. "Good work," the witch said with a smile. "Showed that bitch who's boss. And threw down a challenge to Jukanou? You are insane, Jameson."

"I know. One of my best traits," the Red Ranger grinned.

"Bullshit," Yelena laughed. "You're crazy and it's infuriating sometimes, but we still love you."

"Sometimes," Alison said with a grin.

Jameson snickered nad shook his head. "Yeah, yeah," he snickered.

Jameson yawned and nodded, stretching. "Sounds good," he said. "I'll probably go home too. Get some sleep. Tired as hell."

Yelena smiled softly and nodded. "Alright, Harrison. We'll see you later."

"Hey, you're not leaving withot me," Dahlia said, walking over to Harrison.

With the Rangers taking their leave for the night to either celebrate Halloween or relax before the next fights, nobody knew what troubles were coming in the next days.

Over the next weeks, the Rangers had been on alert in case anything had happened. Jukanou's forces were oddly silent, something that made Yelena and Jameson nervous. The Red Ranger had kept vigilant at the base, monitoring the city for any signs of an attack. Yelena walked over with some coffee, setting it in front of Jameson.

"Thanks," the Red Ranger said with a small smile. "God, I really wish something would happen."

"Don't say that," Yelena said, putting her hand on Jameson's arm, squeezing softly. "Something'll happen soon. Im' sure of it."

Underground, Jukanou chuckled as he saw the gathered materials, Mersess and the other Dragons gathered around and ready to begin.

"And we're...sure this is a good idea?" Aminth asked. "Summoning that thing?"

"The Red Ranger issued a challenge, Aminth. It's time to respond. And yes, summoning the Beast is the way to do it. Rid the city of those Rangers and raze it to the ground," the red dragon said.

Harrison followed through on his promise to take a few days off to relax. He knew that an attack was coming soon and while he wondered if calling the baddies out was the best idea, he knew that he had to be in the right mindset to have Jameson's back.. and to stop him from doing something really stupid if need be. Currently, he was on the beach, laying out in the sun. Between the cool breeze and the warm sun coupled with the occasional gummy, Harrison was soaking it all in because he didn't know when he'd get another chance.

"Probably?" Harrison chuckled. "You're being too generous. With my luck, I'm probably getting impaled in the next week." The earth wizard joked but his facial expression never changed.

"Seriously though, this is gonna get ugly. More bodies will drop and this probably won't be a fairy tale ending. But as long as you're safe, I'll be at peace."
