"Deepest fears? This ought be fun." Harrison put his hands in his pockets, speaking sarcastically. "For once, I'd love for the test to be a normal test that tests our physical or mental and not someone's best Tim Burton impersonation."

THe Red Mage chuckled. "Do not worry, my friends. It won't be as horrible as you think," he said. "Especially if you've dealt with the basis of them in the past."
Jameson sighed. "So, what do we do?"
"Step up to your dragons," the Mage said, stepping back as the five Dragon statues started to glow, the Rangers emblems glowing on each of them. "Simply place your hands on the emblems, and you will be taken into the trials."
Alison and Alexandra sighed, looking at Jameson, Harrison, and Yuuga and nodded. The two women walked up to their statues at the ends, putting hands on the glowing Mermaid and Fairy emblems.
Jameson walked up to the center statue, placing his hand on the Phoenix.

Yuuga looked at the others and he too walked up to his stature, placing his hand on the glowing Thunderbird.

"If you die, Dahlia's going to go on a rampage to skin them alive," Jameson said, looking at the Green Ranger before his eyes flashed red, being psychically pulled into the statue.

Alison's eyes glowed pink, being pulled in. She landed on the ground, looking around as she did. "Where am I?" The Pink Ranger walked forward, shuddering as she started getting colder. "What the hell...?" The sound of battle caught her ears, and she took off toward the fighting.
Once she arrived, she saw the other Rangers dead on the ground, her sister standing against Jukanou and losing. "YOu can't stop me, asshole! You killed my friends!"
"And I'll kill you!" Jukanou snarled, lashing out with his tail and slamming it into the Blue Ranger. He coiled his tail around her neck, dragging her forward before ripping her helmet off. "Enjoy hell." He gave a quick flick of his tail, snapping Alexandra's neck.
"Alex!" Alison ran forward, her heart thundring in her chest. "No!"

"Probably!" Harrison shrugged his shoulders before his eyes turned green and he was pulled into the statue. When he opened his eyes, he looked around, only to see himself in the middle of the street.
"What the hell?!" Harrison began walking, eventually making his way to Troy's bar. Hoping to see a friendly face, he walked inside only to have to duck or else he would have lost his head. "The fuck!? Troy!?"
"You shouldn't be here!" Troy readied his weapon and rushed at Harrison, attacking again.

Alexandra sighed as she walked down the street, seeing the city in ruins. She looked around, biting her lip as she came across the park, seeing it in flames. She stepped down, her foot crunching on top of something, and she looked down. Kneeling down and picking up her sister's Staff, she looked out and saw the Red Ranger standing over the rest of the Rangers. "Jameson!"
The Red Ranger, looking more armored and deadly, yanked his sword out of a dead Harrison. "The one that escaped my grasp," he said, stepping over Troy and Alison's bodies. "You hid for months, Alexandra. Went to Briarwood, Reefside, Corinth. You thought you could hide." He chuckled, turning and slashing out as another Ranger came rushing forward, Red suit falling away as the Ranger dropped dead.
"What the hell happened?!"
Jameson grinned, pointing his sword at Alexandra. "I won."

Yuuga's eyes went yellow and he was transported into his statue when he finds himself looking around at the Base where he sees Jameson and the others talking. "Guys?" he asked as he looked the others before they shot glares at him.
"What the hell are you doing here? Shouldn't you have quit already?" Jameson asked in complete annoyance and it left Yuuga looking slightly shocked.
"Quit? What do you mean quit? That was two years ago," the Yellow Ranger said.
"Bullshit! Do you think you can just waltz in here? After you tried to bail on us when we needed you the most!?" Jameson roared, making Yuuga jump. "We called you, begged you to help us but you turned your nose when Jukanou is out here kicking our asses!"
"J-Jameson, that's not true... I would never do that to you guys. Not even Yelena."

"The fuck are you talking about?!" Harrison grabbed Troy's wrists to stop the attack and tried to talk some sense into him.
"Don't play dumb with me you big bastard! You're the reason why everything has gone to shit! Jameson's gone! The other Rangers are dead! All because of you!!!"
Harrison's eyes grew wide with this information. "And...Dahlia?" He asked, almost fearing the answer.
"She's the first one that died, died protecting your dumbass!"
"No...." Harrison dropped to his knees in disbelief, allowing tears to fall from his eyes as his worst fears were beginning to be realized. He was alone.

"What do you mean, won!?" Alexandra asked, backing away from Jameson. "What are you talking about?!"
Jameson smirked, holding his sword out. A roar was heard and Jukanou flew down, landing on the ground and kneeling behind the Red Ranger. "I powered up. Showed Jukanou what true power was. Killed and skinned his entire crew. When none of you wanted to join me, you all decided to fight me. Dahlia was the first to die. Felt good literally ripping her heart out. Harrison didn't put up a fight." He pointed to a fence, the Green Ranger's body skewered on the metal.
The Red Ranger chuckled. "Killing Yuuga was fun. He was worthless anyway. Alison was next, and it was delicious listening to her screams for you while I was ripping her apart bit by bit."
Alexandra felt sick to her stomach. "What...what about Yelena...?"
Jameson just grinned. "She's where she belongs."
The Blue Ranger lashed out and slapped Jameson, kicking him backward. "You bastard! Is this waht you want?! TOtal subjugation of the world?! You're supposed to be my friend, you heartless bastard!"
Jameson laughed as he kicked Alexandra in the chest, sending her to the ground. "And you're going to meet your friends in Hell." He raised his sword and swung.
Alexandra looked around before kicking Jameson in the balls, the sword clattering to the ground and sending the Red Ranger to his knees. She flipped up and grabbed the sword, putting the tip under his jaw and forcing him to look at her. "No. This isn't you. This is my trial, isn't it? Stand up to you? Do something I normally wouldn't have the guts for?" Her eyes glowed blue, water rushing over the street. "You killed them...and even though it's a nightmare, that can't stand. You have to pay for waht you've done." She brought the sword up and slashed, cutting Jameson down before the blade clattered from her hands and crashed back into the ground.

Alison charged forward and slammed into Jukanou, her suit forming instantly as she caught her sister's body. She nudged her softly, laying her down before getting up and aiming for the Dragon's head. She kicked and swung out, connecting with most punches and strikes.
Jukanou laughed and slammed his fist into Alison's throat, knocking her to the ground. "Little girl, you just don't know when to quit, do you?"
"Never," Alison said, coughing as she got to her feet. "As long as you're alive, I"ll never quit!" Her eyes glowed Pink under her helmet, the light reflecting in her helmet as high winds started swirling around her. She lifted into the air and slammed into the dragon, throwing him backward before using her powers and pulling rubble up, flinging it forward and spearing through Jukanou.
Jukanou coughed and spat up blood, hitting the ground. "What the hell are you...!?"
"The Pink Ranger," she growled, stomping on Jukanou's head.

Outside, the Pink and Blue Rangers collapsed to the ground, their emblems staying lit up. They faced each other and ran, hugging each other tightly.
"I don't want to do that again," Alexandra said softly.
"Neither do I," Alison said. She looked at the boys, biting her lip. "Are they still in?"
"Yes," the Red Mage said. "You are the first two to return."

"You're a quitter! Nothing more, nothing less!" Jamison said as he and the Rangers stood up against Yuuga who backed away. Soon, they used their magic to blast him back, making him scream in pain. His Mystic Morpher flew out of his jacket. "Kuso!" the Yellow Ranger cried out.
"You've failed us, Yuuga. You let your selfishness get the best of you," Yelena spoke in the coldest tone that could literally freeze anything. "You don't deserve to be a Ranger. You don't deserve to have anyone in your life. You will always be alone."
Yuuga remained silent for a moment as he remembered his family turning their backs on him for the sake of his brother. As he was about to give up, he remembered Thrane's words: Yuuga, the family you are born into does not define you. THe one that you find does," he said. "I had nothing, nobody. Not until the Queen found me and I was brought in to be a Mage. Just like you. You had a family that despised you, with two exceptions. But now you have a group that cares about everything that you do. One that will be with you through it all.
"No... I'm not alone! I will never BE alone, you guys had been around me since I became a Ranger, and even though I did quit... I never wanted to leave you. You guys are my family, more than my actual family who has been nothing but pure shit to me. Don't you dare say that I had left you because I didn't!" Yuuga called out as lightning began to form around him as his eyes glowed yellow, morphing into the Yellow Mystic Ranger.
"You will regret this!" Jameson said as he morphed into the Red Ranger along with the others and they charged at him. "YOU DON'T DESERVE TO BE A RANGER!"
Yuuga looked at him and he began to float into the air, his cape forming into a pair of thunderbird wings, "THUNDERBIRD CRASH!" he called out, performing his Thunderbird Crash at his "friends", knocking them out unconscious before landing back on the ground. "I will never abandon you guys. Never," he said.

"What...happened?" Harrison asked, his voice barely audible in between tears.
"You fucking oaf! You wanna know what happened?! You five failed to get your new power and Jameson made a second jump with his damn device, this time, begging that Dino team to come clean up this mess and he never came back. We tried following your lead but we lost badly. Without Legend Mode or the dragon, without an actual leader, we were at the brink of complete destruction. To make things worse, you tried another one of those spells again on your own to make yourself stronger and it backfired in a major way. You were on your death bed but instead of letting you die for your stupid mistake, Dahlia absorbed the dark magic running through your blood, killing herself in the process." Troy sniffed, wiping the tears from his eyes. Everyone was so angry so when it was time to fight again, we were slaughtered. The girls were the first to go. They took their time and tortured Yuuga before cutting him up piece by piece. The things they did to me..." Troy stopped short of speaking those things out loud. "But you, you managed to escape and now you stroll in here like it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood!?" Angry, Troy morphed into his knight armor with his sword drawn.
"I'll tell you what. I'll do you one last solid. Since you hate being alone so much, I'll reunite you with Dahlia right now!" Troy went on the attack, prompting Harrison to morph and use his axe to block.
"Troy! Stop this!" The Green Ranger fought back, trading blows with the knight. "I never meant to hurt anyone!" The two warriors took their fight outside of the bar, eventually landing on the roof of a high building. Eventually, the two were locked into a struggle on the edge of the roof.
"You want to be a hero so bad but you're stuck in the past! So if you want to be like that, you can pay for what you've done and we can tell our friends hello together!" Troy pulled the both of them off of the roof, refusing to let go as they fell.
"No! I get it. I took a lot of shit very hard because I love you guys and I want to see you safe. I admit I am guilty of clinging to the past but I'm working on it and I will push forward because that's what I do and I'm not losing any one else!" Harrison got one of his arms free and used it to conjure some vines, grabbing onto them and preventing the pair from falling to their deaths.
"I think you get it now." Troy began to smile. "Now wake your ass up!"
After a flash, Harrison opened his eyes, seeing that he was back with the others. "That was fun." Harrison spoke sarcastically as he walked up to the girls, pulling a small bag out of his pocket and popped a few of his edible gummies in his mouth and began to chew so that he could calm his nerves. "Are you guys okay?"

"If we say no?" Alison asked. "I watched Jukanou kill all of you, snapping Alex's neck. I finally found the strenght to fight back and stop being so afraid of my own damn shadow, but...it still felt so real."
"Jameson killed all of you," Alexandra said softly. "Told me how he did it. Showed me two of you. He turned Jukanou into a subservient pet. He tried to kill me, but I fought him off, and I killed him..." She shook, wrapping her arms around herself. "Yuuga's still in, and Jameson hasn't moved."

Jameson made his way through Angel Grove, seeing buildings in flames. Amaranth was gloating on television, the Dino Steel and Mystic Rangers strung up behind her. Yelena was on a leash at her side, the Overseer and Jukanou celebrating and drinking to a successful takeover. "What is this...?"
"Isn't it obvious?" The Gold Dino Steel Ranger walked out of an alley, taking his helmet off and narrowing his eyes, the Red Ranger staring at a worn down and scarred version of himself. "This is the price of our pride. THe price we pay for thinking we're better then everyone. Jukanou brought them all back, and nothing could stop Amaranth, the Overseer, Jukanou, and Ridenio. Crescent City was the first place to fall. Then Briarwood, Reefside, Ocean Bluff, Stone Canyon, Mariner Bay, and Corinth. We gathered the Rangers from across the dimensions, and this is the result."
"We lost? That many Rangers and you lsot!?"
"You lost, Jameson. You thought you could manage to get all of these personalities to mix. Jaxon and Yuuga were at eacah others throats from the start, getting into more then one fight with each other. Aaron and JT didn't get along with Harrison or the sisters, and Kida tried to keep everything from falling apart, but Rina got into it with Dahlia and the two of them started fighting."
"What about Mayumi?" the Red Ranger asked.
"She's dead. She was the first to die. Overseer took it on himself to start using memory magic, pulled Proto right out of her head. Along with physical manifestations of her doubts and fears. She got her ass beat so thoroughly, she lost the will to fight back between Proto and the Dark SRS Rangers. She died on the street. They took the Allosoulus Knight Key and turned it back into a force for Darkness," Gold said.
"Fuck," Jameson sighed. "What can we do?"
"Nothing. They're as good as dead. Troy joined them willingly," Gold said.
"Bullshit."
"Dead serious," Gold said. "He got tired of being excluded, found Jukanou and offered his loyalty. To prove it, Troy killed Aminth and used her head to kill Dahlia."

Jameson sighed as he looked at the screens, sinking onto a bench. "What the hell..." He saw six Rangers running down the street toward an army of Coronites and Grublings before engaging in battle, teh Rangers making a dent in the army of monsters. "Who the hell are they?" The Gold Ranger folded his arms. "The Hyperion Squad. Government funded Rangers out of DC. Guess they're big on the east coast," he said. Jameson sighed, standing up and shaking his head. "It's clear we fucked this up. Or I fucked this up. I led my friends to fight for their lives and almost got them killed on more then one occasion. The Mystic Rangers for two wars, the Dino Steel Rangers...and they're up there without me. Why?" "Because you had your head up your ass," Gold Ranger said. "Things got hard, you said "I'll go for help" and you didn't come back. Or...I didn't come back. I let my pride get in the way." "And I've done that myself. Every single day with Troy. Dude was instrumental in helping us take down Amaranth the first time, but lately, I ahven't given him time to get with us and do anything. I try and finish everything before everyone gets a hit in, and I...I can't keep doing that. I need to be better, but at the same time, I need to learn to follow instead of just lead," Jameson said. He morphed, going straight into Dragon Mode. "What are you going to do?" Gold Ranger asked. "Get the Rangers back and end this," Jameson said, taking off and flying into the air, heading for the group of enemies. Once he found them, he blasted into the wall and slid to a stop. "HEY!" "Jameson!" Kida and Yelena said at the same time, both women smiling. "J!" "You came back!?" Yuuga asked "Of course I did," Jameson said. "I let you guys down and I've been doing that for years. I'm sorry." He took off, rushing for Amaranth and slashing out, dodging a strike from the Overseer and kicking Jukanou in the chest, sending him backward. He slashed out and cut the Rangers restraints, dropping them to the ground. "We need to work together and stop this once and for all." "You got it, bro!" Jaxon said, holdng his Dino Soul up. "Let's go!" JT with a grin, Aaron nodding. The Red Ranger's eyes glowed under his helmet, and as he ran forward with the two teams of Rangers, his world went dark. ____________________ Jameson hit the ground, groaning as he hit his head on the brick.
