Mystic Force: Dragon Age (GAME)

Harrison stood silently, trying to process losing two of his good friends at virtually the same time. He hated this for himself as much as he did the others, all while thinking that the cost for peace was becoming too high to pay.

Jameson looked at Harrison, reaching over and putting his hand on the Green Ranger's shoulder. He knew this wasn't easy, and he hated that it happened to the sisters, but what's done was done, and he couldnt' change it.

"Aios, we just lost both Alison and Alexandra under the hands of Jukanou. We already lost Troy and now... just please... leave me alone... please," Yuuga said mournfully, knowing that he just wanted to grieve without causing a scene.

Aios put her hand on Yuuga's shoulder lightly. "We will be inside if you need to talk to us," she said. "Just please do not stay by yourself for long." She turned and walked away, heading back into the base.

The Rangers were successful against Jukanou, but at a price. With a layer of unmelting frost covering the sisters bodies, courtesy of the White Ranger, the rest of the team departed the base, heading for Troy's bar to memorialize their fallen comrades.

Two days later, Jameson wiped his forehead as he finished digging the graves for Alison and Alexandra. He stepped back and stuck the shovel into the mound of dirt, looking over as Aios and Dahlia carried the sisters out and laid them down. The Red Ranger sighed softy.

"Why is it always teh good ones?" he asked.

"Because Fate is a bitch and takes the innocent ones, leaving the sinful behind," Dahlia said softly, looking at Jameson. "Jameson, I know what's been on your mind, and losing you again would have ripped the team to shreds. Please push the thought from your head."

"And what if I can't, Dahlia? That's all I've been thinking about. My sins are greater then Alison and Alexandras, and yet I'm still here and they're gone. THey didn't deserve this," Jameson said.

"No, but neither do you," Dahlia said. "I told Harrison this the other night. You can't blame yourself for what happened. Jukanou was too strong and someone wasn't coming home....but I'm glad the ones that did were you four. No, we can't replace the sisters, but we also couldn't replace you, Yuuga, Yelena, or Harrison." She waved her hand, the shovel raising into the air as the dirt started to move on its own, covering the fallen Pink and Blue Rangers. "So please, stop thinking you could have done something. You did enough just by killing that bastard. Ok?"

Jameson sighed softly, knowing Dahlia was right. "I know...but it's hard not to think this way. Leaders shouldn't survive..."

The witch walked over and put her hand on the Red Ranger's cheek, making him look at her. "And yet you did. You fought three wars back to back to back, Jameson, and now it's time for you to rest. You've earned a rest. No fighting for a while, ok?" She hugged Jameson, feeling the Red Ranger hug back. "You're a good man, and we would have all been lost if you'd died again."

Jameson nodded softly, looking over as Yelena and Harrison walked out of hte mouth of the cave. "Anyone seen Yuuga?"

"No...and I haven't been able to get ahold of him," Yelena said, walking over and taking Jameson's hand.

"Yuug is incredibly stubborn." Harrison slipped his hands into his pockets, still grieving over losing the girls. "No matter how much we try to help him or how much sense we make, he won't be satisfied unless he does it himself or shits the bed trying. May as well let him do his own thing for now."

As Yuuga continued to pack, he heard his phone ring and it was from Jameson, he reached for it and answered, "Hello? Jameson?" he asked.

"Hey, Yuuga," Jameson said. "Just...checking in on you, brother. Haven't seen you in a couple days. How're you holding up?"

"I'm fine. Listen, Jameson. I'm sorry for leaving you guys out like that. I was just... I'm still reeling in over what happened to the girls and I needed space before I did something I would regret. I know you think I'm a coward for doing that, but... god... I don't want anyone to see me like that," Yuuga lamented, leaning against the wall.

"I didn't think you were a coward, Yuuga. We all mourn our own ways," Jameson said. "I spent the last two days punching holes in my apartment walls that I need to patch up. Yelena laid in bed and watched TV to keep her mind off of it. When you're ready, if you're ready...come by the base, ok? We buried the sisters just a bit ago, but I was waiting until you came to say anything. If you're ready, ok? I'm not gonna pressure you."

"It's been two days, J. I think it's time that I show my face. I'll be there soon. If Harrison gets on my ass as well as Yelena, I might as well take it," Yuuga finished the conversation.

"I'll smack him upside the head." Harrison smirked. "And then I'll hug him."
