"J, you know better than I do that bad guys will always be here, there's no doubting that. But just because they're here, doesn't mean you're obligated to stay."
Harrison folded his arms. "Now don't get it twisted, I'm not trying to push you out the door but there are plenty of options to pick up the fight if you decide to say that's enough, whether they emerge here or you have to travel and grab some of your otherworldly friends."

Jameson nodded, chuckling a bit. "I know. But I also wouldn't ask them to come and fight our war," he said. "My new clone on the the Dino Steel Earth, maybe, but not Kida or the others. Wouldn't be fair to them. I just want this to be over so I can rest. Mentally I'm starting to crack. Physically I'm exhausted all the time." He sighed and rubbed his head and neck. "I'm just ready for this to be over."

Jameson looked at Yuuga. "Yuuga, I want to say something, but honestly, now ain't the time, so I'll just keep my mouth shut," he said. He shook his head, walking away. "I'm going home. I'll see y'all later." He walked out and disappeared in a burst of red light, leaving hte others alone.
"Fuck," Yelena sighed. "I'll calm him down. Somehow..."

As the Rangers left the base for the night, Alexandra and Alison headed home, the Blue Ranger hoping that she could help her sister through the coming nightmares. What they didn't know, however, was that the final battles were coming faster then they knew.

Two days passed for the Rangers, and while Alison finally got back on her feet after Mersess' assault, Jameson was throwing himself into work, trying to think of ways to finally take the Dragons down for good. He paced the floor, mumbling as he did. He stopped, writing down something in a notebook before he kept going.
Dahlia sighed as she watched Jameson, catching glimpses of his book occasionally while holding her tongue, hoping she didn't have to say anything to the Red Ranger.

In the days that passed since the last battle, Harrison tried to keep it as low key as possible. He spent most of his time working at the dispensary, knowing that he'd been skipping out on them a lot due to his Ranger duty and with Dahlia at the base, his best bet was to be here where he could at least be productive and achieve some semblance of peace before things really got nasty.

For the next few days, Yuuga had kept himself busy as well. One thing is that he had gone through the finalization in claiming his late grandfather's inheritance. Although happy that he was able to get something from the family that cared about him, Yuuga kept himself in a low profile, thinking about what his next move was going to be. Meanwhile, he looked at his card that had been safely stored and it hadn't been glowing for a while. He wanted to know where did it come from, but he kept his focus on defeating the dragons as his main priority.

Since the last battle, Alison and Alexandra had become inseperable. The Blue Ranger barely let her sister out of her sight. Working on homework and keeping up on the apartment, the sisters were worried about Jameson and his mental state with the fight drawing to a close.
"You think he's gonna be ok?" Alison asked, setting her pen down.
"Hopefully. We both know he's reckless as hell when it comes to the end of a fight," Alexandra said. "Just have to be there for him and hope for the best."

Deep underground, Jukanou paced the cave. "We need to end this. Those bastards are gaining strenght every battle while we're starting to lack. It's time to end it!"
"And how do you suggest that?" Aminth asked, shaking her wings out. "Hmm?"
"Mersess. Ezzrith. Take to Crescent City. Destroy it and draw the Rangers out. I want their heads today!" Jukanou snarled, fire coming from his nose.
"Yeah, sure. Why not," Mersess said, shrugging and looking at Ezzrith, the Darkness Dragon chuckling. "Let's go." Ezzrith nodded, disapearing with the Ice Queen.

"Appreciate y'all. Come on back ASAP. I'll be sure to have something real nice." Harrison spoke to some customers while they finished their purchases. Once they left, Harrison went back behind the counter. He was enjoying the hustle and bustle of every day life. He was soaking it up as much as he could because he knew all it took was one ring on the morpher and it would all come to a screeching halt.

Once Yuuga was finished with all of the work he was doing with his grandfather's lawyer, finally becoming the main holder of the inheritance, he decided to make a pit stop at Harrison's workplace, hoping to get something sweet with a little tang from the weed. He really needed it after dealing with so much and was ready to put an end to the dragons.

Jameson sighed as he sat outside on the cliff overlooking the ocean. He closed his eyes and let the cool sear breeze wash over him, and he took a deep breath. He opened his eyes and ran his hand over his face, hearing footsteps behind him.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Yelena asked, sitting beside her boyfriend. "Are you ok, Jameson?"
"No. This is almost over...and after it is, I don't think I want to do it again. I don't want to fight anymore. Finding you when I was cave diving that one day was a complete accident that literally changed six peoples lives, and ever since the wands found us, it's been one conflict after another."
"Between Amaranth and then your trip to the other world, and now the Balaur. Love, I'm surprised you haven't cracked yet," Yelena said, taking Jameson's hand.
"I want to. I've had to keep it bottled up, but I know soon it's going to burst and I won't know waht to do," Jameson said. "I know I need to stay focused, but it's hard when all I want to do is scream and throw everything within reach and then never answer my morpher again."

"I appreciate you taking the time to work these extra hours." The store manager emerged from the back, praising the Earth wizard for his recent surge in dedication.
"Just makin' it right." Harrison smiled. "I know I've had to miss hella time lately and yall have been real cool about it."
"I would have thought this extra time would be dedicated to that lady of yours."
"Nah. I make sure she gets hers off top. I don't wanna go home and find all of my brownies or gummies in the trash!" Harrison laughed.
