When did he say that? In the flashback during Friday's episode he said, "We spend decades on the designs then what?" And Simmons added, "We hope someone carries on for us." It would make sense if the person who'd carry on for them would be their child.

In one of the flashbacks he said Simmons was dead and we also saw that mack and cousin where gone before the lighthouse. It was when I believe he was saying that they where in a loop and doesn't know how many times they have lived the loop over and over.

A very solid episode last night. Yo Yo, macj, and flint leading rebellion against the knee was good. Some great action scenes there. And some good drama with them against the kree. I am curious to see who is the kree seer mentioned. And on the shield ship scenes where good too. Enjoyed daisy and the warrior kree lady fight. Was very happy to see she was finally offed.

Eh, last nights episodes felt really flimsy to me. Mack insists that Flint shouldn't be fighting...until he should. The plane was flipping and looping and turning like crazy...and everybody's walking around fine inside (while the gravity was on). Sinara's death was just so...lackluster. She didn't bring her little silver spheres so it felt like she wasn't at her full potential for her final fight.
So now I'm moree sure than ever that Daisy is not reponsible for the earth breaking. The fact that she was seen close yet not actually doing it is classic misdirection.
I guess the event involved aliens falling from the sky? Is this some sort of Infinity War connection? Are the Chitauri invading again?
People are guessing a lot of wild theories about who is Kasisus secret seer (Ward, Alt-Elena, Raina...) but I think the least spectacular/most likely answer is that psychic guy who was killed off a few episodes ago, since we know he can ressurect people now.

I assumed it would. The preview for the next episode looks like the 'pod' finale. Presumably they'll go back home and then have to deal with that military woman. And maybe they can meet up with Hunter again?

I hope so too. As I agree the future story pod is likely over this week. If so I am curious what the next pod story be.

I'm guessing them fighting the military and the whole time Daisy will be angsting about and focusing on whether she's gonna destroy the world.

I guess we will see. Though I did like last year pod style archs. Like comics do. So hopefully that is what they do again this year.

Solid episode tonight. Interesting reveal for Kaius seeing being a future copy of yo yo. And crap with her revealing that coils on is hurt. I hope he doesn't die again. Mack and kauis fight was pretty dam good. And happy he was offed. It was sad to see zeke sacrifice himself to save the team. And boy daisy going to be mad at coulson. All in all a solid wrap to first arch of the season. Now we are off for a month.

There were some interesting plots but this episode also left me...wanting. I think I just craved resolution, and I feel like the Kree didn't get enough comeuppance and I really would have preffered to actually see the team make it home instead of it being a faux cliffhanger.
I feel like the writers decided to avoid the backlash they'd get from more Fitzsimmons drama by deciding to give the drama to Mack and Elena instead. I wish Elena had joined the Kasius battle too.
While I doubt Coulson will die, and I sure don't want him to, I like that he sees Daisy as his natural successor and that's one of the big reasons he needed her to come home.
I'm curious how his death will trigger the end of the world too.

Saw some promotional photos for some upcoming episodes. It looks like Deke was also transported to the past. I still think that Deke maybe the descendant of Fitz and Simmons. Given the ages of Fitz and Simmons and time in between now and the future we saw I'd say it is more likely that he is Fitz and Simmons' grandson
