Why should they have wrapped up everything. There where not in oh shot we are going to be canned state. You have to leave a few things open more so when you do know you be back. What I hate is when a network is going to can a show and don't give them enough time to close things out. Then it's left dangling storylines.

That's exactly why they should have wrapped up. Even though you don't want to admit it A.O.S's head is on ABC's chopping block with continuing to lose ratings. In fact Agents of Shield wasn't even going to air this year. it was going to air next year and run straight through from Premiere to Finale. Also keep in mind that for a period we didn't even know if Agents was getting renewed. So if you wrap up you give the fans some closure and you have free range on stories if you get renewed.

Just cause it was a ring different doesn't mean oh its was on way out. They where just doing a similar deal when carter was paired with it. So they wouldn't have to be on a long break and more consistent flow from start to end. Sure yes it's not super great in ratings. But it's still a solid performer and usually does well in dvr factors too. So I still doubt it was in the wasn't going to be back like some think.
