I agree. It is a valid reason for them to be apart especially considering the time travel. All Im saying is that it is redundant and tiring. One of the reasons I didn't want the show to go on too long

Eh, this whole season kinda felt unnecessary to me. Complete failure to acknowledge the snap, poorly developed villains (yes even Sarge), none of the characters got to progress or grow. There was no character development, they were all just spinning there wheels.
Like, I get Clark Gregg is the main actor but all these fake Coulsons are lame and cheapen his death. Is May going to date this LMD next season? Yikes.

Yeah, I haven't been watching this season, but I was curious about Sarge, read the synopsis and was like...wow, that's dumb. I can't even pronounce the name of the main villain that possessed him at the end...now the next season will have a different Coulson. Should have just stopped at season five.
I hope we get flashbacks to the original Coluson's dying days with May, just so there's proper closure to the character in light of all this crazyness.

Really for me the only major issue I had was the dumb producers saying even though season 5 ended right at Thanos original snap in wakanda. They where trying to say oh season was before the snap. Even though right at start of season we are told it's one year later.
So like I said before this would put the season in first year of the snap to 2023 when hulk snap all back. So how hard would it been to have a few newspapers or or news reports talking about the snap and that billions of folks are gone.
That would have been real easy to do. Then on the front of seeing citizens and cities we could have kept that at a minimum so we didn't have to deal with that. Or they could have dealt with space a little longer where we didn't have to worry much there.
As for sarge and izel I thought there story was fine. And explained on sarge front how he came to be. Now it would have been nice if in the end since he was coulson to a degree if the coulson side could have taken over and it be coulson. Vs the lmd angle. But heck in the comics lmd of folks been used alot.
The other thing this season could have done to tie into things ie infinity war/endgame was to say due to the time heist stuff. The 2019 shield we seen was from one of the branched time lines that was created like we will see with 2012 loki in his upcoming disney+ show.
I just felt they really screwed things up there this season. Being so off from rest of the mcu. When seasons 1 to 5 fell nicely in between the events of the films. So why did they muck that up so much. But maybe now with season 7 being the end and it looks like there is this big time travel angle they are going. Maybe they can fix season 6 odd displacement in mcu right.

As for the time travel maybe just a personal opinion they were part of the main timeline till the 5th season, and they all end up in a different reality were like Doctor Strange saids is one of the million realities were they lost, and the season finale of six brought them to the main reality.

Peggy has been rumored from details we knew during final season filming. Then of course now looks like final season will be a time travel jaunt.
