I am not sure if this is the right section to post this question, but I have to ask....is Hikari Sentai Maskman really that bad of a sentai series?

No! or maybe because of the prototype sixth ranger, Mask X-1 only appears in one episode?
i watched this show before and it was ok. not really bad as other sentai series where they have annoying characters like Bakaharu from Ninninger

Lol, who says it's a bad series are you kidding? It's one of the best series ever you can watch in your life in fact. Third best sentai series after Jetman and Liveman of the 80s era for me. I rate it 9/10 personally

^ Jetman was 90s though. I haven't seen much of Maskman but it's notable for having the first 5 part gattai.

You are right it's indeed 90's. Anyway it has similar badass style like Jetman, Liveman, Dairanger, Kakuranger. If you like any of these you will love Maskman as well

^ Jetman is my favorite 90s season, Kakuranger my favorite ninja season and Liveman my favorite 80s season. Maybe I'll check out Maskman after I finish GoGo Five and Gaoranger. Honestly though, I wish more 80s seasons were subbed. I've only seen Sun Vulcan and Liveman that decade. I want to see Denjiman, Goggle Five and Flashman!

I watched only one episode and forgot it existed. Only thing I know is the Red and villain princess love thing. I liked the suits but I heard a lot of bad things so idk. From the first episode I thought it was okay, kinda boring though. No! or maybe because of the prototype sixth ranger, Mask X-1 only appears in one episode? i watched this show before and it was ok. not really bad as other sentai series where they have annoying characters like Takahata from Ninninger I think you meant Bakaharu. |
