Power Rangers Mystic Knights

A thousand years ago, magic had taken over the Earth. But at the same time, an all-out war waged through the kingdom of Arcadia between light and dark magic.
A group of magical knights called the Mystic Knights fought against the Dark Fortress led by Lord Pyrok, a former sorcerer of fire who joined a magic academy led by five powerful sorcerers -- the Mystic Masters to prove himself worthy to be a Knight, turned to dark magic after not being chosen to become part of the Mystic Knights, leading to jealousy and hatred within his heart. With a whole dark horde by his side, Pyrok had raided through the kingdom and fought against the Mystic Knights, where they fought a great battle. After the four of the five Mystic Masters were killed by the hatred-fueled Pyrok, the Mystic Knights along with the graceful sorceress, the White Snow Ranger formed their powers together and defeated Pyrok and his dark army, but it came with a price.
Their deaths left the remaining Mystic Master, Igneous von Brandt into mourning as the five staffs, doubling as swords and the White Snow Staff were laying on the ground, letting him know that victory had shone over Arcadia but the six Knights who died with honor. Igneous took all of the Staffs and placed himself into a deep sleep as the sun rose over the kingdom while the citizens mourned over the loss of the Mystic Knights.
Now in the year 2020, the Earth has completely modernized and the cities have merged into shining utopias. But when the Dark Fortress reemerged, Igneous reawakens from his sleep and looks at the reaction of the five Mystic Staffs as well as the Snow Staff, knowing that Pyrok has returned. Five individuals with attitude were chosen by the Staffs, and the remaining Mystic Master brings them together to learn the power of magic and the true meaning of a Knight, dubbing them the newest team of Mystic Knights under another name -- the Power Rangers.

Personality: Alex is shown to be one of those people anyone can hang out with. However, he can be snarky at times, mostly when he's annoyed and has a habit of calling Igneous an "old man", resulting in him being cut off by his teammates to avoid their mentor losing his temper. He is a very skilled gymnast and dancer, passionate about it since he was a child, and is often talked about becoming a cheerleader. Alex is also shown to have leadership and often helps the Red Ranger in stepping in to lead the team.
History: Alex was born in Lagos, Nigeria to musician parents. His mother was a singer and his father was in a band and has always encouraged Alex to become what he desired: a gymnast and a dancer. His parents would often throw shows where he and his friends would perform dance numbers while he showed his talent in many gymnastic competitions, resulting in him winning many medals and trophies. When he moved to Reefside, California, he continued to pursue his dream and always wanted people to chase their dreams as well. Since he graduated high school, he never let his passion get in the way of his studies and worked hard in getting his diploma and chose to attend postgraduate classes due to wanting to learn what he can do in his future.
That is until he was attacked by the Dark Fortress, leading him to become the Mystic Knight Yellow Ranger after being chosen by the Thunderbird Mystic Staff. But Alex would put his dreams to the side and be reliable to the team whenever they need him.
