Excited for a new series, but....why not just keep Matt Ryan? He's basically the perfect casting for Constantine.

Well 1 he busy with legends of tomorrow and 2 they want to take character in a different approach according to the article.

Of course it be a new earth and what not. As you recall Walter head of DC films said they are doing multiverse approach now. So this or that character can show up here or on another show or film. Like how we have a batman in arrowverse, a batman in titans world, affleck, and Robert batman.
