If so I hope they at least give Leslie Grace the opportunity to portray her in something else. And hopefully with a better costume 😬

Ya the film was now in post production phase. So wtf wb and discovery for shit canning it now. Come on you have jk Simmons and Michael Keaton in this flick. To dump it it. And hell they spent less then 100 mill to shoot it. If it was promoted right and good slot with no rival type films for a few weeks would totally make budget and profit with ease. Some articles I was reading looks like discovery execs only want future DC films to be big tent pole type films like the batman, Shazam 2, black Adam etc... vs smaller scale type film this was to be.
Which is a stupid move there. As not every character needs to be a big high scale film. Lower end or mid tier characters would do great as smaller films. This is another reason I totally can't enjoy DC projects
As things either take forever to happen or never happen at all. Vs mcu films and show do happen and are there.

I think Batgirl was a bad idea from the start. It's OK they canned it. The DCEU has to rebuild itself, and gosh, they should have to worry more in bringing back Henry Cavill to being Superman, than half-assed attempts like this.
People wanted more Cavill in SDCC than Black Adam or Shazam 2, even if the later looks cool. And they don't know what to do with Ezra Miller's Flash (they should fire him, which is expensive to do) or Aquaman 2 (Amber Heard is poison right now).

Any one go see black adam. I thought it was a solid film. Best no but not worst either. It was a nice action film some good story beats here and there and same with some of the characters. Overall decent film and something fairly good from wb.
