"I mean I'm sure working on the helicopters can't be too bad. It's a motor. Its got gears." Jaxon said as he kind of liked the idea of working on helicopters. "But yeah, sleep could be used right now." Jaxon stated as he yawned.

Rina nodded, stretching before she looked at Kida. “I wasn’t totally dismissing the idea of doubling up.” she said, scratching her head. “If it’s alright since you knew a different version of myself and probably know the habits, want to be room mates? I’m use to having my Aibo and best friend around and now the thought of having a lot of silence would be deafening.”
"Naruto vibe?" Aaron scoffed at the comparison. "Naruto is a good guy but he wishes he had my skills." He boasted, before stretching out his arms. "But yeah, I can get a good lay of of the land first thing in the morning."
"Morning sounds good. For now, I'm sure we all can use some sleep." For JT, this all was a lot to take in and for now, she needed rest to process being in an unfamiliar new world and role as she went from the proverbial top of the food chain to the bottom in the blink of an eye.
Kida looked at Rina and smiled softly. "Of course. I'm so used to other people in the house, too much silence would drive me insane," she said. She looked over at JT, feeling her heart sink as she watched the other girl. She knew what was bothering the other woman, and she wished she could do something, like switch powers, just to see her spirits life, but she knew it wasn't possible.

"Well we don't work on the helicopters. THat's all contract work. We're just the ones that get the calls and send them out, sort of like a 911 dispatcher. If that makes any sense," Jameson said, looking at the Blue Ranger. "I'll explain it more in the morning. There's a gym down in the basement if anyone wants to use it, and I'll make sure you've got new clothes and things for tomorrow."
"Thanks, Jameson," Kida said with a bit of a smile. "Really. All of this wouldn't be possible if you hadn't come along."
Jameson smiled and shrugged. "It's no problem. I've seen this before, being in a new place without knowing anyone or anything, and I couldn't let you guys go without some help," he said. "Get some sleep. Who knows what's happening tomorrow."

Jameson smiled and shrugged. "It's no problem. I've seen this before, being in a new place without knowing anyone or anything, and I couldn't let you guys go without some help," he said. "Get some sleep. Who knows what's happening tomorrow."
Aaron shoved his hands in his pockets, nodding at Jameson as a silent thank you. "See y'all in the morning." He said, beginning to walk away and head towards his new home for however long it takes to neutralize the Overseer.
"We appreciate the help, Jameson." JT smiled, genuinely grateful for the hospitality and not having to start completely from scratch in this new world. "I guess I'll see you guys tomorrow."

Kida smiled and nodded. "Really," she said. "Thank you, Jameson." "No problem. Rangers stick together, right?" the Mystic Ranger said with a smile. Kida smiled softly, looking at Rina. "Ikuze," she said, patting the Green Ranger's arm and heading for their new residence, hoping the next days would be a little better. As the Rangers seperated out for the night, Jameson shut his own door, tossing a Gold Dino Soul into the air. "I'll help later, Rangers," he said, locking hte Soul into a safe with a blue stylized gun. _________________________ Underground, the Overseer was furious, throwing Coronites around. "HOW ARE THEY STILL ALIVE!?" he yelled, blasting the wall and knocking stone and debris to the ground. "How did they survive the blast?!" "My lord, there were stories in the past of the Eltarian," Ridenio said. "Zordon?" Amaranth asked, chuckling. "Oh, Ridenio, your flames have addled your brain, my darling. Everyone knows that Zordon died centuries ago." "Silence!" the Overseer snapped, narrowing his eyes as he paced the cave. He started to think back, his hands clenching. "Ridenio is right. The only possible explaination is Zordon of Eltar. Who else could give those five disgusting humans such power!? The Dino Souls should have been destroyed eons ago. This...this smells of more then Zordon. There are other forces at work, and they will not get away with this. We attack again in three days time. Give them time to learn to love this city before we rip it asunder!" __________________________________ End Episode 1

Episode 2: Sharpened Steel
Now gathered by Zordon, the Rangers are hard at work learning the ropes of Angel Grove, but when a new enemy attacks, the Rangers need to learn quickly how to work together...or die trying. Almost three days since the initial arrival, shock, and confusion of landing on a different Earth, the new Rangers seemed to be falling into certain routines. Kida found herself in the gym every morning, a habit from her time in SPD and sometimes joined by Rina or JT, but then showering and showing up to help Jameson, sending out phone calls for various companies and acting like a middleman for various deals, even being sent to finalize one Jameson needed to add more money into the company. She knew in ehr chest, however, that things were about to get crazy since nobody in their evil mind would leave things quiet for so long. Having taken a break, Kida sighed as she stretched and looked around, glancing out at the city below them. She looked over at JT who was with her that day, and she smiled. "So...you were excited the other day when you saw my SPD blazer. Good memories?" she asked. _____________________________________ Jameson, meanwhile, had been going back and forth to the Command Center, helping Zordon with new Souls for the Rangers to increase their arsenal and even give them extra armor or powers. The Mystic Ranger knew it was a matter of time before the Overseer struck again, and he needed to be ready, and make sure the Rangers were ready too. |

Almost three days since their initial arrival, JT was beginning to adapt to her surroundings. Every morning, she would get up and go on a morning run to get her blood flowing before going to the gym to train. She had to modify her habits a bit since she was no longer home but she her dad always taught her to adapt to her surroundings. At this point, she knew that complaining about her situation... mainly her new Ranger color would get her nowhere so she decided to focus that energy on staying sharp and preparing for whatever comes.
After her morning run was complete, she greeted Kida before beginning to stretch her legs.
She looked over at JT who was with her that day, and she smiled. "So...you were excited the other day when you saw my SPD blazer. Good memories?" she asked.
"Not my memories specifically." JT said in response. "My folks were both SPD at one point. Mom was Yellow and Dad was Omega. They'd use to tell me that their time in SPD together was their rough patch for a shit load of reasons that would take all day to explain but they pulled through. What about you? What was SPD life like for you?" JT asked, making conversation."

Like some of the others, Aaron had a routine but in Konoha they didn't have gyms to speak of, so almost all of his training was outdoors. With everything that happened during the final battle against Proto, he wasn't feeling as much separation anxiety as the others were, so being in a different world wasn't that big of an adjustment. As discussed with Kida days prior, the Black Ranger held true to his world to get a good lay of the land. Using shadow clones, Aaron ventured into the four corners of the city to get a feel for where he was. Although he didn't have an Angel Grove in his world, this felt like a normal city which was good for him personally but ripe for attacking by the Overseer and his army.
When he wasn't scoping out the city, he spent his time meditating and training, doing just enough phone work to keep Jameson off of his case and biding his time until a better opportunity came up that he felt suited him better. Currently, Aaron was standing on the roof of the building, looking out towards the city, enjoying the view.

"Oh..." JT's voice trailed off upon hearing of Kida being assaulted, something no woman should ever have to go through. "I'm glad you were able to come out strong on the other side." She smiled. "As for Ridenio, I have a feeling he won't be the last familiar face we see. We have to be ready."

Jaxon was on his way back from a morning run when he decided to go to the command center. Instead of running all the way there, he used his communicator to teleport there. He remembered his talks with Adam from his universe on how their blue ranger, "Billy" would create new arsenal or do the repair work on their zords and it gave Jaxon the thought that maybe he might be this versions "Billy". When Jaxon arrived he seen Alpha and Jameson working on some things. "You guys need a hand? I know my way around tools." Jaxon stated offering his help.

"I gotta agree there. I got a feeling more and more assholes from the past are going to show up," Kida said. "What do you make of the boys? Aaron kinda remains a mystery, like some of this isn't new to him. Jaxon, I dunno....seems like he kinda resents not having Red Ranger. I get a tiny bit of that from you, but not as much as him."
"He's just coming to grips with it, Kida," Rina said, setting her coffee down and sighing. "For anyone in a place of leadership, being demoted feels like a punishment. He'll come around in time. Maybe."

When Jaxon arrived he seen Alpha and Jameson working on some things. "You guys need a hand? I know my way around tools." Jaxon stated offering his help.
"Jaxon, hey," Jameson said. "What are you doing here? You need to be with the others and getting to know everyone. We got this."
Alpha nodded, soldering another Soul together. "We're just working on some new gear for you all. Crafting new Souls connected to the Morphing Grid, while it's still slightly unstable from all of your original mix of powers, is delicate work. It's taking most of my processors just to keep steady while talking," he said. "There isn't much for you to do."
Jameson nodded, grabbing a cooling Soul and his grinder. "We got this. Go hang with the others, maybe you'll see something in them," he said. "I'll catch up later. We'll all head to the Juice Bar after I'm done."

"That's possible. I do know one thing. He seems very sure of himself." JT replied. "Maybe he's playing up the mystery since there are so many girls on the team." She joked, regarding the young shinobi. "For me, I'll admit that the current color arrangement isn't ideal but it's not like I can complain to corporate office, so I'll get over it. Jaxon? I knew of him before we all got dragged here. I'll just say that if he's half as stubborn as his cousin, he won't let this go for a while, especially since this is a much younger Jaxon than I know of."
"He's just coming to grips with it, Kida," Rina said, setting her coffee down and sighing. "For anyone in a place of leadership, being demoted feels like a punishment. He'll come around in time. Maybe."
"Let's hope so. On the flip side, let's hope that we're not here that long." JT said in response. "The sooner we take out Overseer, the better."
