“Morning.” Rina said with a small salute as she took a drink of her coffee. “Can’t complain as far as sleep goes. It’s a lot better without waking up at two or three in the morning when alarms blare cause a monster’s attacking.”

"If your referring to Nolan, then yeah. I claim him. He's more stubborn than I am trust me.. But I do see the comparisons." Jaxon said with a smirk.

"Yeah, we'll see..." JT responded. "I heard old you was pretty stubborn but that was Nolan's side of the story, so we'll see." She said before saying good morning to Rina.

"Two or three? Whoever you were fighting was disrespectful!" Aaron walked into the gym last, seeing that the rest of the team had already arrived. "Morning, guys. Did I miss the party?"

"Oh, girl, those three AM callouts can kiss all this sexy ass," Kida said, shaking her head. She looked over at Aaron and grinned. "Nah, you're just in time, Hokage. Just having some fun and getting ready to train up a bit before the shit hits the fan."

"Hokage is cool but I like being the one she calls when shit hits the fan." Aaron smiled, looking back at Kida. "Fun is always good. I just got back from doing some more scouting in the city. It amazes me how... normal this place is. I even ran across plenty of salons and nail shops where you can stay pampered, Princess." He quipped, looking over at JT.

"Well I'm glad that you're actually doing some work. I may need some actual pampering after I pick up your slack in the field." She responded to Aaron with a slight smirk across her face.

"Only in your dreams." Aaron smiled before taking a drink of water out of his water bottle.

"Girls, girls, you're both pretty," Kida said with a grin. "Though I'll be honest, a freaking salon day sounds amazing. Last time I went was....Christ, before my wedding. And then I just kept having Megumi give me haircuts cause SPD wanted to buzz me."

"OOf," Rina said, looking at Kida. "And how long ago was that?"

"Um...five....four....no, five years," Kida said. "Just after we turned Ridenio into a flamebroiled bird burger."

"Thanks Kida! At least you're half right." JT said, playfully jabbing at the Hidden Leaf Shinobi.

After narrowing his eyes at the Pink Ranger, Aaron's attention turned back to Kida. "So what can you tell us about this Ridenio guy? Anything intel wise that will help us put this guy down?" He sat down on the nearby weight bench, taking another sip of his water.

JT shook her head, already not a fan of this Ridenio and Kida's story only added to her dislike of this general of the Overseer.

"So if your team killed him already, I'm wondering if he was brought back via resurrection or plucking him out of a specific point in time?" JT thought aloud.

"It doesn't matter." Aaron spoke in response. "Either way, it means that this Overseer has a nasty power at his disposal which put anyone we've ever faced back on the table."

"I don't know, JT. We fought and killed him and apparently so did Rina's SPD team," Kida said. "Who knows what happened to bring that bastard here."

"All I know is that he's going to die again," Rina said. "I dont' care how many times I have to gut him, he'll stay dead."

"I just hope we don't encounter any real tough customers," Kida said.

"You are just one confident motherfucker, ain't you?" Kida asked with a smirk. "You'd have fit right in at SPD. Could have used yo uas our Blue Ranger. He didn't like following orders and needed his ass kicked a few times."

Underground, the Overseer was monitoring the city. Amaranth and Ridenio, having been mostly silent, were watching with rapt attention.

"Is he sleeping?" Ridenio asked, stepping forward slowly.

"I doubt it. You think ancient evils sleep?" Amaranth muttered, staying behind Ridenio. "Uh, boss? You good?"

The Overseer smirked, turning and surprising his two generals. "I'm fine, Amaranth. Just...remembering a trifling little flame I used a few millenia ago. One of the Elementals, a woman of wonderous power and intense flame. I'm going to conjour her up and use her to burn this city to the ground."

"The Elementals? They're supposed to be myths! They were when I was a girl," Amaranth said, her eyes wide.

"Because when you were a child, it had already been thirty-two million years and they faded into legends and storybooks," the Overseer said, turning his back to the two. "Now silence, the both of you. I need to use my full scope of concentration to bring her here." He closed his eyes and began chanting, his hands outstretched.

As the next few minutes passed, the underground lair rumbled and shook, a crack opening in the ground as a deep red glow filtered out. A pillar of fire erupted as a figure blasted out, giggling as she spun around, a flaming mane of red hair behind her as she lowered to the ground.

"Seer!" she giggled, flying forward and hugging the Overseer. "It's been too damn long!"

"Hello, Flaris, my darling," the Overseer said. "You look the same. Thirty-three million years, and you have not aged."

Flaris smiled, putting her hand on the Overseer's cheek. "You still look amazing, even all these millenia later. Still overthrowing the world?"

"In the attempt," the Overseer said. "I have a mission for you, my darling."
