Power Rangers Dino Steel

"Help her first." Aaron waved off Mayumi's immediate assistance while pointing at Kida after her more direct encounter with Overseer. Instead of making it to the chair, he grabbing a hold of the nearest console for support.

"We need more than patching up." JT helped Kida over to the chair, although she looked to be limping in her own right. "What we need is recovery time." She groaned as it hurt to move any part of her body at this point.

Rina laided back after hitting the floor when they were teleported back to the Command Center, panting as she nodded in agreement with JT. “Recovery, a quick nap and maybe a couple shots of coffee.” she mumbled.

"I felt helpless out there." Jaxon said as he was helped to his feet by Jameson. "Like nothing we could do scratched the surface. This dude is strong." Jaxon said as he found a nearby chair and planted his ass in it and then looked at his morpher all busted to hell. "This is great..." Jaxon said as he became frustrated.

Mayumi nodded, rushing over to Kida and helping JT get her into the chair. She patted the Pink Ranger's arm, smiling a bit. "Go sit. I'll get you next," she said. "Kida. You need to--"

"Try and remove my shirt," Kida said, wincing as she grabbed the edge of her torn shirt, trying to lift it. She cried out as her ribs jarred and she dropped her arms, flinching away. "Oh, fuck!"

Jameson walked over and looked at Jaxon's morpher. "Take off your Morphers. Give me the Souls. All of them," he said. He took Kida's morpher as Mayumi tossed it to him, and he set it on the counter. "I can work on these while our resident nurse patches you guys."

Mayumi nodded, biting her lip. "May not have my jutsu or powers, but I still have my medi-nin knowledge." She grabbed scissors and cut Kida's shirt, giving her an apologetic look. "I'll buy you a new one." She gingerly touched the REd Ranger's side, sighing softly. "Two ribs are broken. One more's fractured. One more good hit, that fracture would have broken off and punctured."

"Wouldn't...be the worst thing...to penetrate my skin," Kida said with a pained grin.

Jameson sighed, looking over at Zordon and Alpha. "WHat do we do, Zordon?" he asked. "The Overseer trashed the Soul Morphers, and all of the SOuls are out of power. SOme of the new Armor and Arm Souls aren't finalized and we don't have any options left. Is this it?"

"No. This is a minor setback, but it is not the end of the battle. As Rangers, all of you have experianced a loss such as this at one point or another in your battles. Facing Ridenio and watching him kill your friend, or attacking your Command Base. Resureccted shinobi flooding your village and almost ensuring a loss. Things like this are setbacks, but you can recover and be stronger from it. I have one idea, and it may not work the way I intend, but we have to try once all of you are back to fighting strenght." Zordon said.

"No. This is a minor setback, but it is not the end of the battle. As Rangers, all of you have experienced a loss such as this at one point or another in your battles. Facing Ridenio and watching him kill your friend, or attacking your Command Base. Resurrected shinobi flooding your village and almost ensuring a loss. Things like this are setbacks, but you can recover and be stronger from it. I have one idea, and it may not work the way I intend, but we have to try once all of you are back to fighting strength." Zordon said.

"I'd argue that this is more than just minor." Aaron leaned back against the console as he sat for for additional support. He was so sore from the constant fighting that he felt it even with something as simple as tossing over his morpher and soul to Jameson. "With every example you just presented, we were either at the end of that stint or close to it, so our powers were further along. Hell, we just got to a point where folks aren't at each other's throats and now he's trying to blitz us before we obtain that full synergy. I'm not gonna lie, it's smart as hell. If it didn't result in me being so damn tired, I'd applaud the tactic." Aaron responded, taking a moment to breathe and get somewhat comfortable on the cold floor. "But in terms of whatever idea you have, I'm all ears."

After handing over her soul, JT found a seat and listened to Zordon speak to the group. Although she was someone who kept herself in good shape, the constant onslaught was taking its toll, given that she hadn't seen a tactic like this before, even in the most grueling of training sessions. "I'm all for hearing the part where we get to kick his ass."

Jameson deposited the Souls in teh recharging chamber, taking hte MOrphers and heading to his workbench to redo them and get them working again. "What's the plan, Zordon?"

"Yeah, I'm kind of interested in this idea," Kida said, wincing as Mayumi wrapped her ribs.

]"While yoru Souls are recharging and the MOrphers are being worked on, I will use my own energies to tie your previous powers into the Morphing Grid of this Earth. For one battle, you will be able to use your previous Ranger Powers with no ill effects or problems. When I say you, I mean all of you. All of you are needed in this battle." Zordon said.

"WHat about me?" Mayumi asked. "That bastard's poison blocked my Chakra pathways. I'm useless since my SRS Powers drew from that. I'd be just as useless out there as I am in here."

"I'm with Gramps. I remember you being very clear about how much of a strain our original powers were on this world's grid. It'd be nice to be able to use my old powers but I don't wanna see you hurt yourself in the process. " JT looked up at Zordon, echoing Jaxon's concern over Zordon using that much juice to fuel their original powers.

"WHat about me?" Mayumi asked. "That bastard's poison blocked my Chakra pathways. I'm useless since my SRS Powers drew from that. I'd be just as useless out there as I am in here."

"You're not useless." Aaron quickly spoke up, offering encouragement to Mayumi. "The good news is that our original powers draw from our Morphin' Grid but what made us so potent is that our chakra and jutsu could still be utilized with those powers so you'd still be functional. You'd just be relying solely on Ranger powers."

"Stop it!" Aaron said to Mayumi in a more stern tone than he normally uses. "You are more than just your jutsu. If you slip, the rest of us are here to pick you up. And nobody is gonna die today, especially you!" The Black Ranger spoke, conveying that he was just as confident in her as he is with himself.

"What she said. Don't worry about that last sentence though." Aaron folded his arms. To be truthful, he did have some reservations about this plan as it went against everything Zordon said in the beginning, even if it was a one-time deal because now instead of five Rangers siphoning off of the grid, it was going to be seven, two of which were going to be leaning into their powers more thanks to the absence of their chakra and magic respectively.

"There is one thing that worries me about this idea. If Overseer's plan is to tire us out, we're playing right into his hands using our original powers that he knows we can't use long term. We need more to go along with this." Aaron spoke calmly to the group, wanting to make sure that they were solid before hitting the field again.

"Way to bring the doom and gloom, Frosty." JT spoke up, half joking with the Black Ranger.

"Just stating the obvious, Princess. Try and keep up." Aaron smirked, earning a swift middle finger and a sarcastic smile from JT.

Rina grabbed her SPD Morpher and tightened her grip, nodding. “We can’t sit back and let him destroy the city and think he’s won while we wait for our Morphers.” she said, looking over at Jameson and feeling her eyebrows shoot up. “Whaaaat?”
