Rina nodded. “Yeah, because I have a pretty good feeling that Overseer isn’t done dredging up our darkest secrets yet.” she said, crossing her arms over her chest softly. “He might take a break to regroup, but he’s not quite done with laundry day yet.”

As Jaxon sat there soaking all of this in, he didn't even speak a word more less utter a vowel or even a sound. From the way he viewed the apology that took place, it seemed as if it was more of a "This why your wrong and this why I was right" argument. Jaxon just shook his head as the tally was still in the rangers favor as far as the Overseer was concerned, however, there are three rangers that still haven't been subjected to personal demise with himself included. Jaxon just shook his head and basically called it a day. "I need to go take a walk...." Jaxon stated as he went to teleport out. With the things that Rina brought up and Kida while under the influence of Amaranth, as much as he hated to admit it, there was some things Jaxon needed to think about.

As the Rangers mended fences and got balance back to the team, and an allie's future hung in the balance, the Overseer was getting ready to hatch his next biggest plan, one that would push the Rangers to the brink of sanity and the full use of their powers, and hopefully make them stronger, despite the now repeated attempts to break them.

(OOC: New day, new episode. This time it's an all out war for the city.)
It was a few days after the Overseer's attempt to get Aaron to his side and the crippling of Mayumi's remaining power, and the Rangers were stuck in the fight of their lives. In the four days since the last battle, the Rangers had been called out several times at different points in the day, always fighting hordes of Coronites and monsters. Exhaustion was wearing them down, and the Overseer knew it.
Kida lashed out and stumbled as she cut at a Coronite, yelling as she got punched in the ribs and knocked down. "SOn of a bitch!" she hissed, barely avoiding smacking her head into the pavement. "We can't keep going like this. We've nearly exhausted our powers."
"You have to keep fighting, Kida. We just need a break in the flood and we can stop the Coronites and the monsters."
"Maybe get down here and flame on these assholes, Jay. Then tell me to keep fighting," Kida said, flipping up and ctting a Coronite down. "FUck it." She took a SOul from her belt and slotted it into the Sword. DIMETROHEAT ARMOR UP Her suit gained the DimetroHeat armor, and she surged forward as fire enveloped her sword. "Bring it on! I don't care what happens to me. YOu won't overrun Angel Grove, you bastards!"

In the days since Overseer's attempted recruitment of the Black Ranger, Aaron hasn't had time to sit down and speak with Mayumi thanks to the constant barrage of attacks from the dark leader's forces. In this current battle, Aaron was knocked down, landing on his back thanks to a kick from a Coronite that normally he would dodge but because of the onslaught, he was running low on gas, even though he didn't want to admit it.
"When I say that I can do this all day, I don't actually want to do this all day! I've got shit to do and I haven't seen my old buddies who run the ramen shop in days!" Aaron performed a kip up to get back to his feet and delivered a spinning roundhouse to knock a Coronite away, mainly so that he could get some room to breathe."
"Awwww come on Frosty! You're too young to be having performance issues!" JT took her eye off of the ball for just a moment and it was just enough to get punched in the face by another grunt while two others grabbed her arms when another Coronite rushed in, she drove both of her feet into the chest of the grunt before using that momentum to flip backwards and free herself before using her Steel Edge Saber to strike them both down. "Fuck, they just keep coming!"

MicroSpeeder Arm Up rang out as Rina slotted the MicroRaptor Soul in her Saber, speeding through some of the Coronites before getting tripped up and crashing into the ground. THe Green Ranger was exhausted like her friends, but she knew not to let it show. "He's pulling out all of the stops, isn't he?" she asked, wincing as the MicroSpeeder Armor fell away, the Soul ejecting out of her Saber. She caught the SOul and bit her lip. "MicroSpeeder's drained!"
Kida yelled as she got hit and thrown backword, crashing into the ground and pushing herself up. DimetroHeat popped out of her Saber, the armor falling away. "DimetroHeat too! We're going so hard and so fast we can't keep the SOuls charged up. We keep this up, our transformation Souls might run out too!"
"That's the plan!" a booming voice yelled, the Overseer appearing in the middle of teh Coronites, laughing as he walked through the horde of his minions.

"We just have to finish this quickly!" Aaron pulled out his favorite soul, aiming to finish this as soon as possible. "PTER-"
He was cut off by the arrival of the Overseer who essentially confirmed his plan to wear the team out.
"You really don't handle rejection well." The Black Ranger stopped and looked in the direction of the evil leader.
"I don't know why. When you're as ugly as he is, you should be used to rejection!" Like the others, the Pink Ranger was exhausted but she refused to let it show and one way of putting on a brave face is to maintain her sharp tongue in the face of danger.

"Well so far his plan's working alright, working us overtime! My moves are getting sloppy!" Jaxon stated as he kept trying to avoid his wrestling move set and opted for a more Hack-n-Slash approach but even then swinging the saber and dodging the Coronites attacks were starting to overwhelm him.

The Overseer walked through the Coronites, stopping in front of the five Rangers. "You five have become a thorn in my side. I have become fed up with your constant defeat of my subordinates and creations. If running you out of steam and beating your tired bodies with each other is the way to go, then by the Ancients I will do so until you are dead!"
"Yeah...how about fuck off," Kida said, wincing as she rushed forward and swung out at teh Overseer. Her sword crashed onto his chest, breaking in half. "Shit!"
The Overseer laughed, backhanding Kida and sending her flying backward. She hit the ground and rolled, coughing up blood inside of her helmet. He held his hand out and blasted the five Rangers, sending them crashing to the ground and knocking them out of morph, their Morphers sparking as their Souls clattered to the ground. "HOw can you defeat me without your precious Dino Souls!?" he laughed, stalking forward and stomping on Kida's chest, making the Red Ranger yell out.
"We....may not....have our Souls...but we're still...Rangers!" the Red Ranger yelled, struggling to get the Overseer's foot off of her.
"Kida!" Rina yelled, trying to get up before she grabbed the Red and Green Souls, whimpering as pain coursed through her. "Get off of her, bastard!"

After being knocked out of his ranger form and noticing that Rina was pinned down by the Overseer. Jaxon struggled to get back to a standing base after fighting off some of the pain. "Might not be strong enough, but I gotta try something.. Call to the beast inside.....Release the Mighty Lion!" Jaxon said as he took what strength left that he hand to summon his Beast Spirit and have it cause a distraction long enough for Rina to get out of the way.

The Overseer laughed as he caught the Beast Spirit by the throat, the massive Lion Spirit writhing in his grip before he crushed the Beast. He dug his foot harder into Kida's chest, stepping back and giving the Red Ranger a moment to breathe before reaching down and grabbing her by the throat.
"Struggle all you want, Rangers. It makes no difference to me. Your deaths are going to be enjoyable to me either way," he laughed. He tightened his grip around Kida's neck, taloned fingers digging into her neck and puncturing her skin. "You think you're the ones that are going to save the world. You think you have the strenght and the will to stop what's coming. The death of the Multiverse is still proceeding, and with each passing day I get stronger and stronger. THe Morphin' Masters thought they could seal me away. They thought they could keep me hidden and not have me challenge the Multiverse. But tehy were wrong. You five are nothing to me. Just gnats under my feet!"
Kida growled, struggling to get ot of the Overseer's grip. "Hey....asshole..." she choked, grabbing her Driver from her hip. She struggled to point it, aiming at the Overseer's face. "You...talk...to fucking...much!" She fired, making him yell out and drop her. Kida yelled as she hit the ground, smacking her head against the ground. "Ah!"
"You insufferable bitch!" the Overseer yelled, lashing out and kicking Kida in the ribs, sending her flying toward the other Rangers, breaking her ribs at the same time.

"Kida!" After what felt like forever, JT grabbed her soul after being forced out of her morphed form by Overseer's power. She rushed to Kida as quickly as her body would allow, horrified with what she was seeing. She looked up at the others with worry written across her face. "It's bad, guys. We need to get her out of here."
"I doubt he's going to graciously allow us to walk away." Aaron clutched his own soul. The endless assaults and now the attack by Overseer was taking its toll and he knew that they had to do something drastic. "Maybe I can buy us some time."
The resident shinobi began weaving hand signs at a rapid rate. "Ice Style! Chilling Dragon!" Aaron formed a dragon made of pure ice and sent it at Overseer with lethal intent.

The Overseer rolled his eyes, watching as the ice dragon came toward him. He held his hand out, catching the ice and shattering it. He yelled as he got hit with the shot from Rina, stumbling back a foot as the mist from the ice started to settle. Once it did, he looked to the ground, not seeing his prey. "Damn it!"

The Rangers hit the floor of the Command Center, Jameson running over and helping them sit or stand up as needed. "I'm sorry, guys. I should have got you out of there faster," the former Red Ranger said. He sighed as his eyes landed on the busted Morphers, and he bit his lip. "I can fix those, but we need to get you guys fixed up first."
Mayumi walked over, helping Aaron up. "Jameson, I can help patch everyone up," she said, leading the Black Ranger over to a chair.

"Help her first." Aaron waved off Mayumi's immediate assistance while pointing at Kida after her more direct encounter with Overseer. Instead of making it to the chair, he grabbing a hold of the nearest console for support.
"We need more than patching up." JT helped Kida over to the chair, although she looked to be limping in her own right. "What we need is recovery time." She groaned as it hurt to move any part of her body at this point.

Rina laided back after hitting the floor when they were teleported back to the Command Center, panting as she nodded in agreement with JT. “Recovery, a quick nap and maybe a couple shots of coffee.” she mumbled.
