Jameson sat beside Rina, sighing softly. "You alright?" he asked. "Ever since the mess with Kida and the verbal back and forth with JT, you've been kinda withdrawn. You good?"

Rina nodded, setting her chopsticks down and pushed her bowl back though it was still half full. “I already said my peace. Said that I only meant in that moment she wouldn’t of been anything more than the stereo type of a hot headed red ranger and any other time I wouldn’t question she was a good leader. I don’t need friends who are going to doubt me so they’ll just have a lot longer to gain my trust again. Outside of the battlefield that is.”

Kida hit the ground with the leg sweep, laughing as she flipped up and looked at JT. "Nice sneak, kid," she said. She swung out and narrowly missed JT's jaw, dropping her shoulder and catching the Pink Ranger's stomach.
JT doubled over for a brief moment, letting out a small groan while rubbing her stomach where she was hit. "Not bad, Granny." She performed a flash kick, aiming for the bottom of Kida's jaw. When she missed, she performed a spinning back elbow, which would send her in Mayumi's direction.

Ironmoon smirked to himself as he watched the Black Ranger take off over the rooftops. "Easily found," he said, taking off to catch up to Aaron. He caught up and slid to a stop on a rooftop, standing in front of Aaron. "Black Ranger."
During Aaron's morning traverse, he continued to seek clarity that would allow him to go about his day. Although it was early, Ramen always helped to keep him focused, plus he hadn't been there in a few days so now was a good time to re-up. Unfortunately for him, his morning grub would be put on hold. He saw a streak whip past him and stopped in front. Aaron looked at the beast and placed his hands in his pockets.
"So now Overseer is busting out his ninja friends eh?" Aaron nodded his head in understanding with the arrival of this new warrior. "So what do they call you and what's your game?"

JT doubled over for a brief moment, letting out a small groan while rubbing her stomach where she was hit. "Not bad, Granny." She performed a flash kick, aiming for the bottom of Kida's jaw. When she missed, she performed a spinning back elbow, which would send her in Mayumi's direction.
Kida flipped to avoid Mayumi's strike, grabbing the White Ranger under the shoulders. She held the struggling Mayumi in place and smirked. "Make you a bet, JT," she said. "Your back hits the mat, you stop the Granny comments. My back hits the mat, I stop complaining about them. Deal?"
"It' a trick!" Mayumi said, finally getting her feet planted and flipping Kida forawrd, kneeing the Red Ranger in the chest and making her hit the ground.
"Ah! Right in the tit!" Kida groaned, sitting up and rubbing the sore area. "Really?! In the boob? Rude!"
"Hehehehe," Mayumi grinned

Jameson nodded, reaching up and squeezing Rina's shoulder. "I understand. THat kind of trust is hard to regain after it's been built up. At least in battle things can be like they were. WHat happened with Kida caused a lot of fallout, and I hope that one day, and hopefully soon, it'll be resolved and we can be united on all fronts."

JT let out a laugh with seeing Kida get hit in the boob but her 'wager' stood out a bit as she recalled what Mayumi asked her a few days ago. "Instead of a wager, how about you answer a question? Does it really bug you that much when I call you Granny or any other cool old lady quip I can come up with?"

He kept his poker face up although he was concerned with how the team would look at him if they knew that not only was he a clone but that he was a clone from a cold blooded killer. "Your boss is really ballsy." Aaron added, looking rather smug.

"I know that," Jameson said. "And you say it wasn't all Kida's fault, but how much of it was sitting in her heart? Sometimes, when we're under these spells and manipulations, it pulls from what we're feeling. If she truly felt that way about everyone, it's better it happened now then when we're so close to stopping the Overseer." He sighed softly, something RIna said sticking out to him. "You said it's worse then back home. What'd you mean?"

Kida sighed, flexing her hands and wincing as her knuckles popped. "Sometimes it does," she said after a minute. "I'm only thirty, JT. I...I don't think I'm that old yet, y'know? I know I'm getting older. I sort of feel it when I'm in the shower and i let the hot water hit me and relax the muscles in my back and shoulders, but...I don't want to believe it. Not even Rina knows this, but I dyed my hair a few days ago. Only because I found a few greys. I think it's from all the years fighting and then all of this."
She shrugged softly, rubbing her arm. "Sometimes it doesn't bother me, sometimes it does. Depends on the mood I'm in," she said with a bit of a smile.

"Not as ballsy as posing as a man from another world entirely," Ironmoon said. "I'd make my mind up if I were you, Kane. You don't have long before our forces decide to strike your home and kill your friend from the Leaf Village. Are you coming with me or doing your own thing? Something that seems to get all Aaron Kanes, even clones of men from other dimensions, into trouble."

JT kept quiet for a moment and let what Kida said sink into her brain. She didn't think that she had said anything wrong but she equated this situation to the one with Rina and saw the comparisons. Rina had failed to grasp how she offended the young Ranger and refused to apologize up to this point, feeling that she did nothing wrong but when it comes to offending someone, you don't get to determine how that person should feel. So while JT thought that her words were harmless, if she expected Rina to eventually apologize, she had to keep that same energy and do better. "Okay. If it bothers you, I'll drop it." She said, vowing to refrain from the granny talk, ignoring the chirping from Jaxon at the moment. "My bad." She smiled.

If this was back home, he might risk it, given the makeup of his old team and them having access to all of their powers but Mayumi had little to work with in terms of jutsu and with the wounds from Kida's romp with the dark side still fresh, he couldn't fully trust that they'd be able to withstand an attack from Overseer right now.
"Fine." Aaron said, finally relenting and agreeing to go with Ironmoon. "Let's hear what your boss has to say and get this over with."

"Finally...Been watching you guys for the last hour or so and even when I walked in here it felt like pins and needles. I mean, I know I didn't help any but, makes me happy that you guys are on the level playing field again." Jaxon said as he was happy that the air was clearer between the girls.

“Just because it was on her heart doesn’t mean she wanted it hung out to dry on the open. That witch purposely strung it up and Kida would of never said anything either way and would of thought less of it as she got to know them.” Rina said. She looked at Jameson before glancing away. “You heard what the Oasis dredged up, you just never heard what happened after.”

Kida smiled. "Besides, this old woman can still kick your ass," she said with a smirk.
"Oh, yeah?" Mayumi asked, trying to surprise Kida with a kick to the back of the head. The Red Ranger dropped to the ground, Mayumi's kick sailing over her head. The former White Ranger's foot ended up on top of JT's shoulder, and she started laughing. "Holy shit she's fast."
Kida slid backward and stood up, folding her arms. "I raised three daughters who would tear around hte house yelling "Can't make me!" while waving pants and shoes in the air. I got fast," she said, flicking Mayumi's nose.

He took off over the rooftops, heading for the edge of town.

He knew things were still tense between JT and Rina, and he hoped--even with Rina's affirmation--that it wouldn't affect their dynamic on the field. "You're right. "Watch it!" JT pushed Mayumi's foot off of her shoulder. "It's probably a good thing that the kiddies aren't here. I wouldn't want them mad at me for kicking their mommy's ass." The Pink Ranger bounced from side to side, really feeling the blood flow after warming up a bit.

Jameson put his hand on Rina's arm. "You're not a failure. You've had some setbacks, but that doesn't make you a failure. My own mother killed me because I couldn't see she was trying to bring an eldritch evil back from it's sliced and diced grave. That's failure. I'm sure your partner doesn't think you're a failure. Or your husband. You'll get a chance to undo it when our worlds are restored. I know it," he said. "Trust me."

Ironmoon dropped down after reaching hte edge of town, walking into the neighboring forest. He stopped in a clearing, backing up and facing Aaron. "THe Master will arrive soon."
