Jameson took RIna's hand and got up, watching Kida putting the hurt on Amaranth. "She's....really pissed," he said, holding his side. "Oh, shit....everything hurts."

"That's going to need some ice." The Black Ranger stood and watched the battle between Kida and Amaranth. He didn't even have to look at the wounds because he gathered all he needed to know based on all of the wincing and groans coming from the mouth of the former Ranger. He would have commented further but he'd let Jaxon enjoy that W on his own.

Kida kicked Amaranth in the back, firing again and peircing her wings. "Any last words, whore?!" "Fuck you," Amaranth growled. "You're nothing without me!" "Fuck you....everyone says that when they're about to get their shit kicked in. You're shit at dying, you know that?" Kida asked, taking another device from behind her and smirking under her helmet. She slotted a card and started pushing on the screen. G4 RYUGA ORGA GLAIVE KABUKI CAUCASUS ARC SKULL FINAL KAMEN RIDE DIENDShe put the K-Touch on her belt, her suit changing into DiEnd Complete Form. The eight Riders on her chestplate appeared behind her, filling up the boardwalk as she took another Card from her belt and put it into the Driver and flicked it open. FINAL ATTACK RIDE DIENDAmaranth growled as she backed up, looking at the nine Riders in front of her as several of them lifted into the air with dragons, giant skulls, wings, or on their own. "You think this is going ot kill me?" she asked as she started laughing. "No, but it's going to be one hell of a body ache," Kida growled. The Riders around her attacked, launching giant missles, soundwaves off of a holographic drum, use of Rouse Cards in a sword and followed up with the Riders flying out and kicking the witch backward before disappearing. A massive ring of cards circled around the end of Kida's Driver, the Red Ranger pulling the trigger and sending a massive blast at Amaranth, hitting the Witch in the chest. Amaranth hit the ground, yelling out as she did. She slowly got to her feet, her wings and arms on fire as she stalked forward. "You...won't get away...with this..." 'I just did," Kida growled, spinning around and kicking Amaranth in the face, the Witch hitting hte ground before she disappeared in a burst of black rose petals. "Good riddance." She closed the Driver and took out the Rider Card, lowering the gun as the transformation canceled out. She looked at the Rangers before looking down, biting her lip softly. "I know that...a simply apology won't fix anything I did," she said softly. "It won't take back the words I said....or the hurt I inflicted. I..I understand if you all hate me or want to kick my ass. Or if you've lost faith in me as Red Ranger or lost trust me in after this. I...I'm sorry...I'm truly sorry for everything today..." |

The Black Ranger sighed as he allowed his armor to fall, returning to his base Ranger form. He folded his arms and sighed knowing that the real battle was just beginning. Hopefully, this one didn't involve any punches or hair pulling.
"You're right. A simply apology won't fix what happened today and you can't take back what you said. It's already out there in the atmosphere." Aaron said, looking at Kida directly. "However, only speaking for myself, I don't hate you and now the need has passed for cognitive recalibration." He said, referring to his previous idea to knock some sense into her. "All we can do now is work to be better because your words went beyond just hurt feelings. It exposed underlying issues and it showed some ugly truths with those who don't get their way and have their own issues to sort out." He not so subtly looked in the direction of JT and Rina specifically, both of which had their own amends to make for getting out of pocket.

Jaxon followed suit and allowed his armor to fall as well and returned to base ranger form as well. He then looked at Kida and walked up to her. "Yeah the words stung, and like Aaron said, you can't take back what you said. However, between you and me? Girl that was the best promo I ever heard in my life!! Jesus, that damn thing gave me goosebumps! I thought I was gonna be in the fight of my life. But you came out of it with help. However, I ain't gonna whip your ass but like I said earlier, you are gonna have to take some bumps in the ring. Other than that? Your pretty square with me, Kida." Jaxon said with a gentle playful nudge to Kida.

Rina let her morph fall, looking at Kida. “You don’ have anything to apologize to me for. I know you were under someone elses control. I will apologize to you for slapping you earlier. See you at the apartment. I’m going to get something we both need before the night is over.” she said, turning and heading down the street.

She bit her lip and walked over to JT, stopping in front of hte Pink Ranger. "Janelle, I'm sorry. I...what I said hurt you most, and I'm not sure how I can ever make it up to you."
JT was listening to Kida pour her heart out and she tried her best to control that residual anger that was bubbling up and while she was still pissed about what the Red Ranger said, she would eventually get over it but she wouldn't get over Rina's actions as easily. "I'm going to work to trust you again but next time if something is bothering you, come to us. We're a team. Working through whatever shit together is better than any alternative." JT loosened her fists, wiggling her fingers to get the blood flowing. "One more thing." She looked at Rina's fleeting form before looking back to Kida. "You may have been under the influence but she wasn't. I don't care if she eventually got it right a third time. If she's going to speak to people like that when she isn't under any influence and isn't woman enough to admit when she fucked up after three people told her she was out of line with how she was speaking, then we're going to have a serious problem. So if you want to make it up to me, talk to your friend." JT had said her peace, letting out her grievances before letting her morph fall fully. "I'll see you at home." She said before teleporting away, vanishing in a streak of pink light.

Kida sighed softly, rubbing her arm. "I think I"d have rather her punch me in the mouth," she said softly. She watched as Jameson walked up, seeing Rina in the distance as she walked away. "Jameson--"
"Don't apologize to me," the former Red Ranger said. "You didn't do anything to me."
"I'm just sorry for how I acted. Today's the anniversary of my sister's death and I...I let it get the better of me. Guess even at thirty, i still got a lot of growing up to do," the Red Ranger said with a sad smile. "I'll, um...I'll see you guys later. I'm gonna go back to the apartment and shower. Probably scrub my skin down until I bleed. Mindrape is never fun..."
"We understand, Kida. Just be careful," Jameson said. "Come on, boys. Let's get back to the Command Center and get Mayumi and start charging them Souls up."
Kida nodded, jogging down the pier before teleporting away, landing in the hallway of the apartment. She walked in and sighed, heading to her room before walking into the bathroom and locking hte door behind her.

Jaxon let his morph fall as well and looked at both Jameson and Aaron. "Nah, she aint calmed down. From what I heard about her mom, that takes a few weeks to months depending on the severity. Nolan said her dad had to walk on eggshells, but after what Rina said, I can't actually blame her for being pissed off. She needs to be checked. But I'mma let JT handle that one." Jaxon said before looking at Jameson. "Oh and don't think I'm gonna let you get off the hook that easy Magic Man. Now that you know your limits, lets not push it again? Please? for all that is still somewhat sane?" Jaxon added before smirking at Jameson.

Rina brushed her hair back as she walked back into the apartment she shared with Kida, closing the door and tossing her keys over to the plate. She grabbed a couple spoons as she walked into the kitchen before heading back towards their room and sat beside her bed, setting the the grocery bag down.

Kida dried off and dressed, walking into the room she shared with Rina, seeing her on the floor. "Ri...I'm sorry. I shouldn't have told you that you weren't my Rina. I didn't have a right to go there."

Rina looked up at Kida. “It’s alright. Honest. I know you were hurting and I did go too far slapping you.” she said, pulling two brown bags and a couple small pints of ice cream from the bag. “It’s going to take some time. But it’ll work out. You have my back, no matter how impossible the idea could be. And you know I work to make things go in the favor of good. Whatever they were trying to incinuate. I had your back, even after what you said and having the most god awful image of Wakana just standing beside you making me think she was coming to haunt me from the grave.”
