Mayumi looked over and smiled. "MOrning, JT," she said. "You look like you've been out and around already this morning."
"I was actually on the way out for my run when I saw you in here." She placed her leg on a nearby weight bench, getting full extension so that she could get the blood flowing before her run. "I'm surprised you're not with Jameson or Aaron right now."

Mayumi shook her head, wiping her face off. "No...I needed a break from those two this morning," she said. "Been helping with the Souls when Jaxon isn't around, and I've been with Aaron over the last few years. There is only so much "I'm the most awesome!" that I can stand before I want to smack him." She smiled, slinging her towel over her shoulders. "I'm worried about Kida, though."

"You're right about that. I'm surprised you put up with it for this long." JT chuckled as she stopped stretching her legs to stretching her arms and abdominal. "What's wrong with Kida? I know old folks can be a bit cranky but it's nothing that some prune juice and icy hot can't fix."

Mayumi raised an eyebrow before shaking her head. "I saw her this morning and she kinda brushed me off. I asked her what was wrong, because she looked really down in the dumps and like someone kicked her puppy or something, but she just said not to worry about her and she left. I haven't seen her since," she said. "And why do you do that? Joke about her being older then all of us?"

"Hmmm." JT responded with a single sound when she heard about Kida's mood and essentially blowing Mayumi off. "Honestly, it's just joking around. I give Jaxon the same shit as her and they both give it right back to me so I figured it was all in good fun." She responded, not thinking that the joking and Kida being weird today were related.

“Kida will talk when she’s ready.” Rina said, catching the tail end of the conversation as she walked up, leaning against the wall. “If it’s one thing I know about people who’ve had trauma’s in their lives, they won’t apperciate being backed into a corner and forced to talk about it or being talked about behind their backs, even if the intentions are in good spirit and worried about their wellbeing. Lord knows I’ve had my fair share of trauma.”

Mayumi nodded. "We all have. I watched my brother kill our mother in front of me," she said. "I just worry. Probably a bad habit to worry about everyone when I know we're all able to take care of ourselves."
Kida, meanwhile, had walked back into the building, heading upstairs and shutting hte door to the apartment behind her. She sat on the couch and drew her legs up, biting her lip softly.

Jameson snickered, taking hte water and smiling. "THat....that's a new one. I haven't heard that before," he said. "I'm just working on the list of Souls we need to do, and I'm lamenting the long term use of my magic. Wish I had more of it in this Dimension."
"You would think, with all of the things that exist with the morphing grid that there wouldn't be a well of magic hidden somewhere." Jaxon stated as he folded his arms. "I mean we've had Power Coins, Zeo Crystals, animal sprits, technology, ninja and dino powers and everything in between but no Well of Magic..." Jaxon states as he shakes his head. "Ain't Zordon a Wizard? Have you talked to him about it?" Jaxon stated.

"Living in the Hidden Leaf Village, you get to know....basically everyone, and I had the people I cared about most with me all the time. Empathy should be natural in a Ranger," Mayumi said. "I just hope she's ok."

"Ain't Zordon a Wizard? Have you talked to him about it?" Jaxon stated.
"But those were all on different and destroyed Earths. When i first got here I went to Briarwood, but it's just a plain forest. No magic in it at all," Jameson said. "Yeah, I talked to Zordon, but...there wasn't anything he could do to charge my powers. Otherwise we wouldn't be making one Soul every other day. We'd be on a roll and half of this list would be done."

"Rina's right but I have to play Devil's Advocate for a minute." JT spoke up, offering a counter argument regarding Kida's well being. "I know we all want to make sure that Kida is mentally and emotionally healthy and I know it's probably not the best idea to corner her but do we really have the luxury to just wait?" She asked, pausing long enough to take a sip of water. "I'm not saying we should have some type of intervention meeting but with Overseer liable to attack at any time, can we really afford to not at least talk to her and see where her head is?"

While the girls were chatting over Kida and Jaxon was at the Command Center, Aaron was alone in the city and that's where he felt most comfortable. Seeing as though there weren't many people in the city that could jump from roof to roof, he was able to visualize himself back in Konoha using the rooftops for tree branches, bouncing from one to the next. It gave him that rare chance to breath and relax, seeing as though he was sucked into this dimension soon after their battle against Proto thus was thrust into back to back tours of Ranger duty which for the average young man may not be that big of a deal but he had his own demons to sort out with no real time to do so. For now, the resident shinobi could only seize the few precious moments that he had in between battles to sort out what he could and hope for victory soon so that he could get back home.

Kida, having made her way to the gym to try and work out a bit, heard the tail end of the conversation. "My head, Janelle? It's on my earth, sitting in front of my sister's grave," she said. "Today is sixteen years since my little sister's death. My head is preoccupied with thinking i could have saved her, even though I could barely save myself. If anything, I would cut out my own heart just to have one more day with Miki." She narrowed her eyes, hands shaking. "Lose a sibling, then see if you've got the right headspace to do anything but think about it." She turned and walked out, slamming the door behind her.
Mayumi flinched, watching the glass shatter in the gym door behind Kida. "Ouch..." she mumbled, biting her lip. "We....well, we really fucked that up."

With those two, they'll probably--and I'm not one hundred percent on this yet--they'll probably give a combo Soul, CosmoRaptor, harnessing both Light and Darkness," Jameson said, looking over the list. "And that'll be the rest of them. I don't want to overload the Cage and have the Earth's power blow the Souls up after all the work we're gonna put into them." He stretched, leaning back. "So if you'll make up the forms for the Power Ups, I'll get back to working on the RaptShadow."

Mayumi flinched, watching the glass shatter in the gym door behind Kida. "Ouch..." she mumbled, biting her lip. "We....well, we really fucked that up."
JT cringed when she heard Kida let her emotions spew out, leading to her explaining why she's been in such a funky mood lately. She looked down at the shattered glass then over to Mayumi. "Yeah, we probably did." She sighed while slowly rubbing her hands together. "But at least now we know what's going on with her." She said, trying to find some positive out of the whole ordeal.

"Screamer, Buff, and Plier. What's the power behind those three if I may ask? From the sounds of it, RaisuScreamer is a screaming attack, DilophoBuff is a strength boost, and TrooPlier is either gonna manefest some Truth telling pliers or a person or object multiplier. I hope I'm right in assumptions that and It'll give me an idea of what the forms should be." Jaxon said as he started to walk over to his work station. Once Jameson would let him know the powers, Jaxon would get an Idea of what the forms should look like.
