Jaxon was listening in to the conversations as they walked to the Oasis. "Just because you have your own element don't mean you can't be versatile. Keeps your options open and your opponents always guessing. I don't use it often, but the lion beast spirit wasn't the only one I was trained in just like in wrestling as well. I remember wrestling an a opponent that was a submission specialist. I shocked him with some submissions of my own and bested him at his own game." Jaxon stated as he replied to Aaron.

"It's not about versatility." Aaron quickly corrected Jaxon. "It's about respect and honor." The Black Ranger spoke calmly. "I can use fire and water style jutsu if I wanted to but I had enough respect for my comrades and they for me not to step on each other's toes. Plus, it challenged us to be masters of our own sets of skills unique to each of us because being Rangers made us so unique compared to our other comrades in the village."

"I understand completely. Works like that in the wrestling world too. Take Jake Roberts and Arn Anderson for instance. Both work horses in the industry. They had moves they created just like your ice element and your moves is your own. The DDT and Spinebuster respectively and both hurt like hell especially the spinebuster. However it opened a plethora of options or alternatives to those moves some even using ropes. Maybe your friend Davis might have used the element per say, but maybe not the same ideas or moves.. I say why be a master of just one thing when you can be a jack of all trades? But hey, that's just me." Jaxon said from his experience in the wrestling world.

"I get what you're saying but you're missing the point." Aaron said in response. "Just like with my team, in the wrestling world, you have that unwritten rule that certain moves are off limits in certain promotions because someone has already adapted that maneuver into their moveset and to use those moves are considered extremely disrespectful and can get some serious heat on you with your comrades or the boys in the locker room." Aaron explained, putting it in a way that is easier to understand for the wrestling buff.
"Plus if this was a one time deal, that would be one thing but he did it more than once so it doesn't matter how many moves or jutsu you can do. If you can't respect the team, what good are those moves?"

Kida nodded in agreement with Aaron. "I got in trouble for that once in SPD," she said. "We were facing down one of RIdenio's generals, and I did something stupid. Got myself in a world of trouble and had to use every trick I knew to get out of it. One trick ended up being something David, our Red Ranger, had been trying to work out. He threatened to have me court martialed and removed from SPD if I did it again. Stealing your friends tricks or moves, or even jutsu is a violation of trust, and if you keep doing it time and time again, that just proves you don't have original thoughts of your own and are just piggybacking off of the people that are putting in the effort to grow. Sounds like your friend needed a wake up call or three, Aaron."
"It's always a bad idea," Rina said. "I tried the same thing when we were in trouble, using my Rider powers and a forbidden move my father used once. Maya snapped me out of myself before I got my ass killed."

JT remained silent for a moment, listening to Mayumi say a bit more about her time as a Ranger prior to coming here. It was hard to relate for the most part since things had been relatively easy for her except for the spat she had with her team before she left because her recklessness caused a teammate to get hurt.
"It sucks to hear about your mom in particular. I don't know how I'd react if something happened to my mom... or anyone in my family for that matter."
Mayumi nodded, looking at her hands like she was lost in the memories. "I almost killed him," she said softly. "I wanted to...I wanted to take my sword and cut his heart out, but I knew he was better suited to stand trial. So I paralyzed him. I'd started studying medical jutsus in case we needed them in the field, and I knew where to hit to make him suffer without being able to ever do for himself. Last time I saw him, he was about to face the Hokage for his sentance...but that was before the dimensional collapse."
As Jameson listened and watched the Rangers, he checked the map and looked ahead. He saw a shimmering in the distance, roughly half a mile, and he smiled. "Alright, guys. We're almost there. About ten minutes and we'll be set."

"Yeah, he got it after Kumiko dug into him quite a bit, mainly because it was one of her jutsu." Aaron listened to the other scenarios and nodded, hearing just how similar those situations were in two entirely different worlds. "We didn't have any issues after that. Davis is a good guy so I don't think he was being malicious or intentionally disrespectful but he was being stubborn." He said, letting out a small chuckle.

Just before JT could answer, Jameson provided an update on their journey, stating that they were nearly there. "Sweet!" She said before turning her head back in Mayumi's direction. "Sounds like the bastard got what he deserved."

Kida snickered and nodded. "Good thing we just share powers around," she said. "Those Souls are at least interchangable." ________

Mayumi nodded, her hand clenching. "I wish the trial could have happened. Would have put my dad in his place too. Lady Tsunade let me go after my brother, and when I brought him and my mom back, my father accused me of being the one that got her killed. Disowned me right there. I didn't care...he never wanted me to be Shinobi anyway. What was one more mistake in his eyes? Luckily, my older brother, Daigo, was still there. He was there all through the mess with Proto when I needed him and even after Kazu.."

"Well, let me ask this question. Had Davis asked instead of doing, would you still consider it taboo? The only time I've ever heard of someone getting heat or being chewed out for using another persons move was when this one wrestler used a similar move to a top tier wrestler and he not only got his butt chewed but also buried but I've never heard a rule where someone couldn't use a move of another wrestler. If that's the case, I'd have Edge chewing me out for every time I used a spear or Rob Van Dam super kicking me in the chops for using the frog splash. If that was the case then wrestling would cease to exist. Now are there banned moves? Yes. Would you get heat for using them? Of course cause if performed with the slightest miscalculation you could kill the poor soul or injure them at the very least." Jaxon saying as he the gang kept walking.

"Though honestly, Jaxon, wrestling is a whole different ballgame then what we do," Rina said. "Those moves, while deadly if done wrong, just don't really stack up to the shit we do on the regular. It's like comparing apples and zucchini. Two seperate things. So probably trying to compare them isn't the best idea, so..."
"She's got a point," Kida said. "A spear is different then say using a set of Gaia Memories to turn yourself into a flaming mass of death and almost get yourself killed dealing with a criminal."
"Ooh....your Rina did Twin Maximum too, huh?"
"Yep. Not pretty," Kida said.

"What they said." Aaron quickly added. "And to answer your question, yes. Had he asked, it still would have been taboo. Plus, the fact that you've never heard of said rule doesn't really matter. Our friend screwed up more than once, plain and simple. It wasn't world shattering to the point where we took his morpher or stopped being friends with him but he was held accountable." Aaron continued to walk, providing further explanation. For the Black Ranger, this discussion was about entertaining as the prospect of sitting around and viewing other worlds, so he could use this time to not think about what was ahead, even if it was just for a brief moment.

"Don't worry, he'll still get justice. Once we take out the Overseer, everything should go back to normal and your brother can stand trial for his crimes." JT seemed more optimistic that things would work themselves out, even with the multiverse going to shit. Given what she'd heard about the Multiverse in the past, she had complete faith as long as everyone here does what they need to do.

Although Jaxon could see where Kida, Rina, and Aaron were coming from, he just couldn't comprehend how using a move or technique that you've seen someone else do and make it your own different version with the roots of another have such repercussions. Maybe because in his world it wasn't such a problem as he's done it plenty of times and even praised with being inventive, so with that in mind, Jaxon just kept silent the rest of the trip as he didn't want to stir up any trouble.

Kida sighed, shaking her head as the conversation came to a close. She knew sometimes having to borrow or outright steal other moves was needed, but she also knew the conequences of it. She hoped in the future, whatever it may be, that she never had to resort to it again. "Jameson, how much further?" "About five hundred yards," the former Red Ranger said. "Look, guys, I know not all of you are excited about this, and I can't say I am. We shouldn't be leaving the city defenseless, but Zordon ordered this. I don't like it anymore then a few of you do. We'll stay long as we feel we need to, and then we'll head back, alright? Sound like a plan?" "Works for me," Rina said. "Like you said, I don't feel comfortable leaving the city open to the Overseer or RIdenio. While seeing into the multiverse might be fun....the pit in my stomach about leaving the city wide open is overpowering." **** "Don't worry, he'll still get justice. I wish I had that optimism," Mayumi said with a bit of a smile. She looked over, seeing the trees in the distance. "Looks like we're here." The Oasis of the Multiverse opened ahead of the Rangers, trees seeming to move out of hte way to lead into the waters and cleared spots for the Rangers to rest, rocks darted around the ground. "Whoa..." Kida said softly. "THat's cool."

"That's new." Aaron looked around, seeing the Oasis open up for the team. His response was still rather dry but still kept cool to avoid any unnecessary drama. For him, he was looking to get in and out as quickly as possible.
"That is cool." JT agreed with Kida while stretching her limbs out a bit. "Literally and figuratively."

As the gang arrived to the Oasis, it was if the Oasis itself was alive as trees parted, rocks on the ground moved to make way for the rangers to rest. It was if this place not only were expecting the rangers, but as if it was controlled by magic which prompted Jaxon to ask the following question. "Jameson, this ain't your magic?" Jaxon asked the magic user.

Jameson chuckled, looking at the Oasis. "No, no, this isn't me," he said. "I was never good with elemental magic outside of Fire. This kind of thing would be my brother, Harrison. It is amazing though." He walked over to a rock and set his bag down, looking out at the trees and lake. "I haven't seen anything like this in a long time. Not since I was with my mom in Zimbabwe as a kid." Kida smiled softly as she set her bag down and sat herself down, rubbing her head. She looked at the ice shuriken as it melted in her hand, snickering. 'Aaron, you were right. Thing lasted until we got here," she said, looking at the Black Ranger. ____________________________ The Overseer smirked to himself, feeling the Rangers were out of the city. "Oh, this is gorgeous," he said, grinning as he looked at Ridenio and Amaranth. "The Rangers have left the city defenseless." "What are you thinking?" Ridenio asked, cocking his eyebrow. The Overseer grinned, pushing his hand into the wall and forming a figure, a hulking form bursting out of the rock. "Crusader!" he laughed. "Master Overseer," the Crusader said, kneeling down as his massive hammer dropped to the ground. "What do you wish of me?" "Destroy Angel Grove. Make the Rangers pay for turning their back on the city this day!" "Yes, sir," the Crusader said, standing up and shouldering his hammer, Coronites disappearing with him as he took off for the city.
