Jameson cocked an eyebrow at the bags Jaxon was carrying. "Dude, you know we're only out there for one night," he said with an amused grin.
KIda shook her head, looking at the Blue and Pink Rangers. "I'm older then both of you. Knock it off," she said with a laugh.
"You do realize that I'm the only person here who knows the older version of you right?" JT raised an eyebrow, nudging Jaxon in the side. "If we're talking about torture, we can talk about you at some of the Ranger holiday parties." The Pink Ranger said with a laugh.
"Oh bite me will ya? It might look a lot but it's really not and oh I can't hear ya over there Grandma. You forgot to put your dentures back in and if we gonna be talking about stories, I heard a doozy from my cousin, Nolan, about how bad your mom chewed your Dad's behind off this one time. Nolan swears that your dad didn't have an ass left." Jaxon snorted with laughter with his retort to Jameson, Kida, and JT.

"My mom chewing out my dad is the best you can come up with?!" JT giggled. "Well I may be young but I do know that when couples are together for a long time, getting chewed out happens from time to time. You'd know that if you had better luck with the ladies."
Aaron moved towards Kida, leaning in her direction. "We may as well go now. At least that way, we'll have some entertainment on the go."

"My mom chewing out my dad is the best you can come up with?!" JT giggled. "Well I may be young but I do know that when couples are together for a long time, getting chewed out happens from time to time. You'd know that if you had better luck with the ladies."
Aaron moved towards Kida, leaning in her direction. "We may as well go now. At least that way, we'll have some entertainment on the go."
Kida nodded, giving the Black Ranger a thumbs up. "Sounds good to me," she said. "Jameson? You know where we're going?"
"I do," the former Red Ranger said. "Zordon gave me the coordinates and we'll teleport to the outside of teh Command Center before hoofing it about two miles into the desert." He looked at the Pink and Blue Rangers who were still going after each other, and he thunked them both in the back of the head with his palm. "Enough, both of you. Plenty of time to bickering later. Time to shut up and pay attention. Got it?"
"Effective," Mayumi said, folding her arms as she pulled her bag onto her shoulder. "Let's get a move on. We don't want to waste daylight."
"Yeah, flashlights are a thing, Shinobi Girl," Kida said with a grin, Mayumi rolling her eyes with a smirk. "She's right though. Last one to the Command Center gets a shorted out morpher!" She teleported out, her laugh lingering on the air.
"Oh, hell no!" Rina laughed, taking off with Mayumi and Jameson behind her, teleporting after Kida.

"Ow!" JT rubbed the back of her head before flipping Jameson off. "I can multitask, fucker!" The Pink Ranger yelled out as she vanished in a streak of pink light.
Aaron sighed while giving Jaxon a quick pat on the back for support. "This is gonna be fun." He spoke sarcastically as he teleported away

Jameson looked over as everyone teleported outside of the Command Center, looking at JT. "I didn't thunk you that hard, JT. but, if it'll make you feel better, I'm sorry. I was only playing around."
"Yeah, maybe don't thunk the people that can turn you into a pretzel," Kida said. "You wanna beat him up, JT, I ain't seeing a damn thing."

"Eh, that's okay." JT said, opting against roughing up the former Red Ranger. "If I kick his ass, Alpha won't have an assistant while he's trying to work on those Dino Souls!" She chuckled while looking at Jameson.

Jaxon was the last to teleport outside the command center with bags in tow and caught the conversation of JT kicking Jameson's ass. "Get in line, he owes me a wrestling match first." Jaxon said laughing.
Aaron started walking, looking around at his surroundings. "If only there were some trees. I'd be there in like two minutes." He said aloud to no one in particular.
"What's wrong? A quick trek through the desert too much for you?" JT taunted the Black Ranger.
"No, this is light work. There's a neighboring village hidden in the sand so I'm not a stranger to this terrain. In fact, you guys are slowing me down more than the area is."
"Aww don't be so grumpy. You can actually relax once in a while." JT smiled.
"I'll keep that in mind, Princess." Aaron said in response, continuing to walk with the group.

Kida smiled softly, following the others as they headed into the desert. "So...about how far?" she asked, looking at Jameson.
"About a mile," Jameson said. "We can't miss it. Trees, water, some rocks, flatland to sleep if we need to." He looked at his communicator, pulling up the map. "This way." He led the Rangers and Mayumi, correcting his course every little bit.
Rina kept pace with Kida, watching the others as they walked. She, like Kida, was concerned about how the team was getting along. "Hm..."
Mayumi, biting her lip, caught up to the others, walking beside JT. "Hey...um..."

JT heard Mayumi call out as they were walking. She looked over to the former White Ranger while adjusting the bag on her shoulder. "Yeah? What's up?" She responded, waiting to hear what Mayumi was going to say.

Mayumi sighed, looking out at the desert before looking over at JT. "Did I, um...did I do something?" she asked. "It just seems like ever since I showed up, you haven't liked me. Did I do something wrong?"
Jameson looked back over his shoulder at the two women, a small smile on his face. "Trips to the desert. Who knew it'd be a way to work things out?" he thought. "We're not far. Maybe another twenty minutes. Y'all doing good?"
"So far," Kida said, pressing a water bottle to her neck with a smile. "Not used to the heat."
"Desert's gonna get cold after the sun goes down," Rina said.

"I'm good." Aaron noticed Kida struggling with the heat and quickly wove some hand signs. "Ice Style: Ice Shuriken!" The Black Ranger formed a shuriken made of pure ice. He handed it to Kida gently. "That should help keep you cool until we get to where we need to be."

Working with Aaron and my friends, somehow we managed. But...sometimes the cost was too much. I lost my mom near the beginning...killed by my brother....and I swore never to let any other families be broken up by evil..."

Kida looked at the ice and grinned. "Dude, that is wicked," she said.
"Thanks." Aaron smiled softly, thankful that the 'icy' gesture was well received. "Back in the village, the team all has a signature element that we use on missions. While we can all use more than one element type, it was a bit of an unspoken rule amongst the team that we each stick to our one." Aaron chuckled. "Although we did have Davis, our Yellow Ranger who broke said rule a few times, even after we brought it up. Our Pink Ranger got mad once and I thought she was going to kill him. And this is someone who never gets angry and is one of the sweetest people you'll met." He said, referring to Kumiko.

JT remained silent for a moment, listening to Mayumi say a bit more about her time as a Ranger prior to coming here. It was hard to relate for the most part since things had been relatively easy for her except for the spat she had with her team before she left because her recklessness caused a teammate to get hurt.
"It sucks to hear about your mom in particular. I don't know how I'd react if something happened to my mom... or anyone in my family for that matter."
