Power Rangers Dino Steel

Rina looked up at Aaron and nodded. “Right.” she said, running beside the Black Ranger to start putting out the fires.

Jaxon nodded in agreement but majority of his moveset was all hands on and he really didn't want to risk getting burned. He withdrew his Dino Saber and took off in a run before front flipping over Flaris while JT had Flaris distracted and slashed her back and then backed off due to the intense heat.

After her kick, the Pink Ranger went into a flip and backed away, shaking her leg just slightly. "Crap that is hot!"

FLaris growled as she got slashed and kicked backward by the Pink and Blue Rangers, her hands igniting. "You want hot, Pink Ranger? I can burn even brighter!" she yelled, stalking forward slowly as the fire in her hands burned hotter, flames going from red to blue. She lashed out and punched JT in the stomach before slamming her fist into the Pink Ranger's helmet, knocking her backward. She turnd and launched a fireball at Jaxon, laughing as she did. "You pathetic humans. You really thought you could stand up to an Elemental?"

"Yeah, actually," Kida said, lauching herself forward and cutting Flaris' side, yelling as she got hit in the stomach with a rebound punch. She rolled to the ground and huffed, wincing as she felt the fire burning through her suit. SHe patted out the fire, looking around and looking for ideas. "We try and put the water anywhere near her, it'll burn off too quickly. The river's a couple of blocks away...I can't make that run without setting more property on fire. Shit. What do I do?" she thought, her hand clenching around her sword.

Flaris launched forward, grabbing Kida's throat and squeezing. "I'll enjoy watching the flesh melt from your bones!"

"FLARIS! YOu have had your fun. Return before you waste all of your power!" the Overseer's voice boomed over the city.

"Overseer!"

"NOW!"

Throwing Kida to the ground, Flaris stomped into the Red Ranger's stomach. "I'll kill you next time, pretty pretty." She turned and took off, flying into the skies and disappearing.

Rina busted another hydrant, following Aaron's lead and spraying down the fires around hte area. Between the two Rangers, the fires were made short work of. The Green Ranger hit the ground and huffed, panting as she looked over at Aaron. "Well, that worked!" she laughed. "Oh, GOD."

“A little too wet for my liking but other than that, I’m fine.” Rina said, holding her thumb up before sitting up and standing. She looked around at the smoldering buildings, sighing. “The fire departments can handle this from here. We should check back with the others.”

Kida coughed, rolling onto her stomach and forcing herself up slowly. She got to her knee and clutched her ribs and stomach, looking over and giving a shaky thumbs up. "I'm fine," she said. "For...for the most part."


“A little too wet for my liking but other than that, I’m fine.” Rina said, holding her thumb up before sitting up and standing. She looked around at the smoldering buildings, sighing. “The fire departments can handle this from here. We should check back with the others.”

"You're right." Aaron nodded in agreement. "Let's go. Hopefully they saved us some." The Black Ranger took off, heading back to where the battle was, finding Kida, Jaxon, and JT in worse shape than when he and Rina left them.

"The hell!?" The Black Ranger rushed over to Kida, making sure she was steady. "We leave for five minutes and and you guys are doing stop, drop, and roll drills." Aaron quipped.

"Oh shove it!" JT groaned, slowly making it back to her feet, rubbing her stomach where the flames were most impactful. "That chick was giving off so much heat, our attacks weren't hitting nearly as hard as they could have."

"The hell!?" The Black Ranger rushed over to Kida, making sure she was steady. "We leave for five minutes and and you guys are doing stop, drop, and roll drills." Aaron quipped.

Kida smiled a bit at Aaron. "Thanks," she said, rubbing her side. "Bitch was tough."

"We might have had an advantage had Red Leader opted to use the Pterice Soul. Jameson had even suggested it. What gives?" Jaxon said questioning the Red Leader's logic.

Kida looked at Jaxon before she took teh Soul out of her pocket. "When we showed up, my brain went into "Just get it done" mode. I wasn't thinking," she siad. "Look...I'm not used to getting new power ups right out of the gate. SPD didn't even give us S.W.A.T. Mode until almost a year into the Ridenio fight. Next time she shows up, I'll use it straight away."

FLaris flew down into the Overseer's lair, landing in front of him. "Why call me back!? I had them!"

"This was the test to see how they work together," the Overseer said with a smirk. "Now that it's clear their Red Ranger isn't as incompetant as she looks, it'll be more fun learning new ways to break her. I'll send you again soon, my dear. RIght now, however, just calm yourself and rest."

Jaxon seen where Aaron was coming from, however in his mind, it didn't take away the fact that had Kida used the soul, it would have helped putting out the fires and not roasting their own skin due to Flaris's attacks.
