Super Sentai 2021 - Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger rumors

Rumor/possible conjecture, grain of salt and such-

An interesting post on 5ch showed up as follows:

“Is the story that the heroes’ home is destroyed and they happen to arrive on Earth, where they are taught by older heroes?”

On the one hand, we have a slightly similar plot with Mabushina this year, but on the other hand, having the Zenkaiger be from another dimension or planet does make sense with the “Kikai” in the title. Having older senshi show up to teach the new team is always fun, so we’ll see.

New rumor. Your salt grains appreciated:

-Two separate posts went up on 5ch with similar ideas:

“All 5 Zenkaiger seem to have gotsugotsu (rugged/angular/gnarly) suits like Metal Heroes, and as such, it doesn’t look like the suits are easy to move in. The 6th ranger seems to have a suit like Changerion.”

“Metallic designs from the bubble era are pretty cool.”

Grains of salt needed on this heavily friends. On a recent cgi.2chan thread discussing what the Zenkaiger motif could possibly be, the following list of Japanese spiritual beings was dropped:

Blue- Kappa (One of the most famous Youkai around, if you don't know what they are, basically a ninja turtle with a bowl on its head filled with water. Sometimes translated as water imp, or river child.)

Pink- Amabie (A legendary 3-legged/3-tailed mermaid whose image is said to ward off disaster/illness. It gained recent popularity because of Covid, and it was all over social media.)

Yellow- Kyuubi (9-tailed fox, possibly even more famous than the Kappa, it's a legendary trickster/shapeshifter in Japanese folklore.)

Black- Karasutengu (Unlike the more known red-faced, pointy nose tenguu, this one is basically an anthropomorphic crow.)

Red- Shiisa (The odd-man out on this list, the Shiisa is a guardian deity of Okinawa. It's a mix of a lion and a dog. ShinkenRed's ShishiOrigami kind of resembles one.)

So why did I post this as there's a good chance it's fake? I see youkai as a very real possibility for Zenkaiger. I also think this specific lineup is just very interesting. If it's just someone's made up list, you would think they would go with 5 youkai, not 4 youkai and guardian deity. Again, take it with a grain of salt.

Well, some rumors dropped. Grain of salt and such, since they feel like they could be very fake:

-Keywords (Hints) are “Go-Onger” and “Partners”
-Producer is Shirakura Shinichi
-Main Writer is Yuya Takahashi
-Director is Taguchi Kiyotaka
-Pink, Green, Blue come from another world
-Red, Black are humans
-Pink, Green and Blue are originally enemy robots

It’s interesting, I’ll say that. I don’t think we’re getting the Ryusoulger colors again lol. (And I doubt yellow would miss the anniversary.) But weirder things have happened. Anyway, it was interesting enough to post. Probably fake though, so don’t go too crazy!

Edit- After some mulling, Red or Black would likely be female. So it’s a little bit more likely to see these colors again; it would be different enough.
