-Full title of the GearDaringer is KaiZoku HenshinJuu GearDaringer. KaiZoku is translated as World Thief, but it’s a pun on kaizoku, pirate.



-TwoKaiOh has 6 modes of play: Your standard mecha modes, Senkan CrocoDaiOh, the crocodile battleship + the two SD robos, TwoKaiRikki and TwoKaiKatarna. They can then combine into TwoKaiOh Rikki and TwoKaiOh Katarna, but also into a fighter aircraft, a motorcycle and an artillery.

Why robots?

This broadcast slot originally started with "Super Electromagnetic Robot: Con Battler V", which is a robot series. So you could say we've gone back to our roots. I used to watch it in real-time, but I forgot about it! In 1976, Toei and TV Asahi started "Con Butler" on Saturday evenings at 6:00 p.m., followed by "Super Electromagnetic Machine Voltes V" and "Fighting General Deimos", and in 1979, anime was replaced by special effects with "Battle Fever J" (the third Super Sentai title). And so it went. Now, "Nichiaasa" (Sunday morning) has become completely established.

Super Sentai had a contradiction. In each episode, there is first the "Life-Size Battle" in which the heroes fight, and finally the "Giant Battle" in which they board a robot. It's a "double feature" that combines two different kinds of fun, but the connection between the two is often thin and disjointed. The first "Himitsu Sentai Goranger" started in 1975, and this is the 45th commemorative film. My goal is to make a compilation or something that says 'This is Super Sentai'. In the case of Kamen Riders, if you show all the past Riders at once, you can create an eventful atmosphere. The problem with doing this with Super Sentai is that motifs such as "cars," "dinosaurs," and "ninjas" are used over and over again, so I had to think about how to show the differences between the Sentai in a clear and understandable way. The main character can use the abilities of all the past Sentai by using gears (Sentai Gears = items that condense the power of the Super Sentai). The differences of each squadron appear in their fighting styles, abilities, and movements. In this way, I want to let children know the appeal of the various Sentai from the past and give them a 'festival' feeling.

The main character, Goshikida Kaito , played by Komagine Kiita, transforms into Zenkaiser. The motif is the Akaranger from "Goranger," and the mask has the same eye shape. The horn makes him look like a Rider, but that's beside the point, it's white. The only other character with a white center is the Big One from the second movie in the series, JAKQ Dengekitai(1977), isn't it?

I was aware of Big One. The white color of Zenkaiser was the result of thinking about a color scheme that wouldn't blend in with the red people from past Sentai when they all gathered together. At the same time, the five-colored lines running down the middle of his body conveyed the idea that he was carrying the team on his shoulders. So while I borrowed the image of the Big One, I took the colors from 'Goranger'.
