Ya Lena is probably just first half threat on top of Jon brother. Then Lena and Kara will work things out to maybe just be Frenemies. And then second half of season with the big looming threat they resolve issues more firmly.

Let's hope! I like the idea of Kara & Lena being friends.
And I wonder how they'll learn of Leviathan.

A good episode tonight. It was nice seeing Lena and Kara working on there friendship. Though Lena using Kara for her own goals is going to hurt Kara down the road. The stuff with Jon was interesting to learn he not his father wiped brother from there minds. It was fun seeing Carl again as Jon dad. The spider lady villain was interesting. Overall good episode on moving Lena and join brother plots along.

I still need to watch the first episode. But I'm concerned that Lena is being lured into becoming not just a villain, but joining Leviathan.
That kind of looked like Shadow Thief who killed the Spider Tattoo Bitch.
It was cool to see Sean Astin in this episode!

I’m wondering if the spider lady is a alien or a meta human.

Alex stated it: The tattoos ARE the alien. A parasite!

Tonight episode was interesting. First it was nice to see Kara learning more what's up with William and and his shady actions. The stuff with Jon brother is heating up. With him now being able to control others to do his bidding. The stuff with Kelly and James on the road trying to keep her safe was good. And interesting Lena what's to use Jon brother to add to her changing people minds and make the world a better place. I liked seeing Jin come out to rest of team what he did to his brother. I also liked knowing what James is going to do.

Ok just finished watching the episode since I Missed 20 minutes last night.
James' arc in the episode was good, and a good way to write him out. I know Mehcad Brooks has been cast in the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot as Jax, so it was a good send off for the character. Finding out what his and Kelly's home has turned into, his effort to fix it, it leaves it open for him to come back sporadically later on, perhaps in Crisis. (which, I'll admit, I was hoping he'd be around for that and be a casualty >_>)
Kara finding out Willam's secrets was interesting. Got to see some new locales that we haven't in one of the DCW Shows, and her realizing he's not a slimeball makes me think the writers are going to hook Kara and WIlliam up, and I am not here for that. Nia helping Kara was fun, and it makes me happy to see them work together a lot.
Malefic still continues to be a magnificent bastard, and I love it. Incepting Agent Blake and then Alex was a good idea, and it was a smart play to try and break J'onn down by using Alex to get under his skin like that. I did like the Tamaran name drop on the bomb Malefic strapped to Alex, by the way. Gives me hope we'll see a Tamaranian eventually. Now that he's Lena's captive, I don't like the direction this is going in. Speaking of Lena....
I swear I have more and more to say every week about Lena. Katie McGrath is such a good actor, and the way she goes from "smiling and happy with Kara" to "manipulative and secretive bitch" in a single frame is amazing. I really hope she'll be out of this "I want to wipe out lying from the human mind" thing quickly, because I really don't want her to be an antagonist the entire season. Yes, she's got a right to be upset, her best friend lied to her for three years. Any other Luthor would have just gotten a Kryptonite bullet and blown a Super to Rao's arms, but Lena's playing hte long game and it's going to be interesting to see what happens next.

I'm actually excited about that because Tyler and Elizabeth just work off each other so well, even if we only saw them for a bit in Elseworlds and even upcoming in Crisis. Can't wait to see how it's gonna go.
