Star Wars Sequel Trilogy getting reconned?Looks like Disney is paying attention to the fans... they might retcon the entire sequel trilogy! Wow! Didn't see that coming! It would be a good thing - I didn't like how they handled the older characters of Luke, Han, and Leia. It could be fixed by simply explaining that the sequel trilogy was in an alternate reality for sure! Just look at the article. What do you guys think? Should Disney retcon the sequel trilogy?

Hell no. Sequel Trilogy is wonky as hell no doubt but the last thing I want is for this fanbase to have any pleasure after the hyperbolic bullshit drama they stirred up during this trilogy. Hell they are just as much at fault for TRoS abysmal existence & they can sit & spin on that alone.

The movies are not going to get retcon. And new sequel series made. This news is utter bs trash. Also greenranger the news originated from wegotthiscoverd/cosmicbooknews both which cite some random youtube channel that has no creditably. Plus we and cosmic are always posting random bs stories that are not true and those sites never break any real news unlike you know the top trade sites like thr/deadline/vulture/variety. Now if the news came from those sites ya we would believe it. But the news is so fake.

^If by inconsistent you mean he's right almost every single time. Plus considering the fact that Star Wars the one time greatest IP is now a flaming wreckage and Disney needs money two months ago. This is very palpable especially when you consider the fact that Star Wars Celebration has been Cancelled until 2022 also leads credibility to these rumors.
Plus considering that there where recently two meetings at Lucasfilm the first one involved Bob Iger, Bob Chapek and Kathleen Kennedy. Apparently this meeting lasted over an hour afterwards Kathleen Kennedy left the building. Then two days later there was another meeting at Lucasfilm about the future of Star Wars and Kennedy was not present

oh come on neo just cale that con was can like pretty much all large events world wide is no reason to make these rumors are true. Yes the sequel trilogy is very diverse to the fans. But the franchise is still making money from the films, cartoons, the disney plus shows(mandorlian right now). Comics and toys still sell well. So really i dont see it happening myself. And just would not make sense since unlike the now legends books/comics/games are a whole different deal. Then trying to no canon films that are out and what not. So what if this series of films wasnt the best. Same thing happened with the prequels and so forth. The franchise will just keep on going and focus on the disney plus shows, and future films. All they need to do is make sure they get the right story and right folks on board. And as for kennedy she is more then likely in next few years probably will step down and either move on to other things, stay and just be a producer(hands off/title only type) and some one new will take over the company. Preferably right now i think dave fioni is the best guy to do it. As he seems to get what works for star wars, for the fans, was groomed by George.

Always the Mandalorian is the only thing Star Wars making money for Disney.
Also I get why SWC was cancelled for this year, but why was the con cancelled for next year as well? Coincidentally the year after Kennedy’s contract expires?

No SWC is not biannual it’s annual they normally have it every year
It’s funny you say that considering the OT is universally beloved by the fandom. The PT is more or less middle of the road. Clone Wars & Rebels are pretty much just as loved as the OT. Hence why Clone Wars got a final season and why Rebels is getting a sequel. We also know the EU is wildly beloved by the fandom.
The ST on the other went up and then crashed and burned horrifically. We all know why?

Doomcock can be a little off-base, he claimed Jodie Whitiker's Doctor would meet the Tenth in the TV Show, but it turned out it was for a comic book crossover and everyone in the Whovian fandom knew it was coming out.

And what the hell with the outfit and mask he wears. How can you really take him seriously in that. Look at any other YouTube personally either they are just talking over video and pictures of the topic on hand. Or its a person on camera deal or interviewer type deal.
