It's sad, but that's either their choice or they have to do it because of other personal or business-related reasons. As for the Coinless universe thing... I don't know for sure, but really feel that re-casting will have to be done for the series to work. Some PR actors/actresses have carreers and personal/family lives that come first and filming a Power Rangers season isn't exactly a one-week shoot. Not to mention that is a certain cast member chooses to participate, then they have to postpone everything they have planned so they could do their cameo episodes. That's why it'll be probably the best move if everyone is re-casted so we'd get better stories or bad stories done better since the series wouldn't be dependant of anyone's will/time/ability to come back. Which can mean more money being pupmed into the production which could end up in the creation of a better product overall. I think the biggest setback for something like "Coinless World" tv series (and I'm not calling a 20 or 40 episodes tv series, just 13, or barely 8, like a Netlix tv series) is money, more than schedule. Besides, most of the old actors, specially Amy Jo Johnson, Walter Jones and David Yost, wanted something SAG. The rest of the MMPR cast, Austin St John, Steve Cardenas Johnny Yong Bosch, Karan Ashley, didn't care about that. Specially Jason D Frank. JDF probably would do it for free (LOL). I dunno about Nakia Burrise, or Catherine Sutherland or Christopher K. Lee or Blake Foster. But I would prefer to keep doing what they were doing for some time: a new series every year, based in Sentai. New cast, new rangers, new stories. The nostalgia is like alcohol, it's good, in small doses......Too much, and it hurts you.

ya with actors schedule and sag stuff it would probably be easier if they ever did this is to make it an animated series/movie. There you can do what ever style of animation you like. Plus makes its alot easier to get actors to return with just being voice over work. And we know various folks like jdf and some others would likely return. Then others would likely have to be recast for actors who dont want to appear, or actors of x characters have passed on. But in that cases i would hope they get folks who sound similar to original folks.

The nostalgia is like alcohol, it's good, in small doses......Too much, and it hurts you. I would prefer if they'd keep up adapting whatever Super Sentai's seasons are possible/easy to adapt into Power Rangers, but only if it's financially OK for Hasbro do do so and also, if it makes sense for them to keep doung the live-action TV series fron all business perspectives. They probably won't even try to contact the SAG guys since that'd add to the production cost and we'd get even less from a team-up episode that we're getting right now. So the non-SAG guys are our only ticket to all and any future cross-overs since we no longer can get the current team uniting forces with the previous team since the 20-episode-split-per-2-years treatment the TV show is getting nowdays unless they manage to find a cast that would agree to do round 3. The coinless TV show thing I think could only work if it's a one-time event and if it's a 10-20 episode deal. But what if a spin-off of that kind triggers the necessity for a season 2,3 etc. or for even more spin-offs? It's why I would prefer the idea to be done as an animated TV show to see how the auidinece would react to it, then do a couple of animated 10-20 epispde-long spin-offs to see how does the audience react to it. If the animated thing takes off, the idea of an animated PR show could actually work out and become a reality if Hasbro dorsn0t suddently decide to pull the plug on the animated anything and decides to create a live-action spin-off. That's what worries me the most when it comes to a PR or a PR-based spin-off. Catherine Sutherland was already in DiD, so I don't thing it'd be a problem getting her back for a future team-up if Hasbro will be willing to pull out the money. The same goes for the rest SAG and non-SAG guys. Austin, Steve, Johnny, Karan and JDF are defenitely locked in if they still haden't changed their minds about getting payed, however, I wouldn't expect them to appear all togehter at once since even in DiD the Veteran Rangers didn't get much screen time, safe for Tommy (JDF). There was too much stuff in that cross-over anyway and I'm kind of afraid what might we be getting if the "free" guys would show up all at once in one episode.
