Showtime.
-Nate playing sports? Character development! -Nobody taught Steel about discipline? After all this time? -...Oh no. They did not explain the entire concept to Steel. -At least this monster has a unique voice. -Oh great, Ben and Betty. -Please don't do that. -Well... that happened. Now it's over. -Hello random Grid Battleforce worker. -Steel is gonna take this whole thing way too seriously. -"He's right, rules are rules." It's funny how Ravi is still considered the stickler for rules after all the ones he's broken. -...This has gotta be like the 12th time GB has been broken into. -And now Nate's evil. -Cue theme song.
Break.
-Steel taking this too seriously is really annoying and pretty funny at the same time. -Steel was three seconds away from saying "Drop and give me 20." -Seeing a puppet controlling a ranger like that is really goofy, but pretty entertaining. -Zoey being the one to say don't hurt him, nice touch. -Oh look, they remembered Steel has a different morpher. I can't believe I have to point that out, but it's a recurring problem that they don't. -Is it just me, or is there a little bit of different music this time? Like, there's still the generic "Go Go Power Rangers" beat, but it feels like there was a little more to it there for a second. -"Controllatron" What, was Puppetron just too goofy? -Damn, I feel bad for this Cole guy. Again, hasn't Ravi done this kind of thing like four times now? -...Holy hell, Nate was going to kill Devon unmorphed.
Break.
-Nice save, Cole. -DAMN IT, I just gave them credit for remembering Steel had a different morpher. Now Nate morphed with a wrist morpher again. -Zord time. -...Yeah, that ADR did not match the sentai footage. -With that said, a ranger vs ranger fight is cool. -Good move, Devon. -It's Beast-X Mode time! -Well, that was quick. -...Where is Zoey? -Nevermind then. -At least the zord battle didn't feel quick and pointless this time. -Cole got his job back! -And Ben and Betty waste more time.
Overall? Not a bad episode. Interesting moral.

That was a Beastastic Episode.
On a side note, for those that view the episode after it airs via the DVR, hopefully, your Guide was screwy like mine(I have Spectrum) as for some odd reason, it listed Beast Morphers at 8:30 and 44 Cats at 8 But when I tuned it at 8 it was Beast Morphers like normal so, if your DVR only have Spongebob on it.

that is odd ice, i got spectrum too but it listed things as usual bm at 8, and then spongebob after it.But as for today episode i thought it was a solid episode. It was a nice nate/steel episode. With steel learning about punishments but taking things a little to far. the villains puppet plan was a good one. I am curious to see what evox had nate do for them. And the team doesnt even know that part. As for the fights there was some good original and sentai footage used with fights. I thought the monster voice was pretty cool and overall solid episode. Then of course we have the usual silly ben and betty stuff which wasnt to bad.

It was an interesting episode. I'd forgotten about the zord battle having two foes. That was still fun to watch. And it was nice use of the Sentai footage of Red & Gold fighting each other and then destroying the monster together! Steel was a bit out of hand. Some of those punishments were nothing compared to the crap I've been put through at my work when I was following the rules & stuff.

'The Blame Game' was a fine episode. in it, Steel got into a punishment lag. He might gone a bit far. Meanwhile, the bad guys created a puppet monster that can control people's minds. He turned the Gold Ranger against his fellow ranger. Can they defeat the monster and free the Gold Ranger? You have to watch this episode to find out.

It always bugs me when the rangers miss the simple explanations. Like last year when they debated whether Brody should use the datacom in school when a simple “you can’t progress through school and earn a diploma that way,” would have shut it down.
Here it was all this debate on if Steel’s being too harsh when a simple “You don’t have the authority to punish the gym employees and in fact HE can kick YOU out as punishment for being disorderly,” would have landed harder and more directly.
The season in general is better to me so far but this long drawn out zord battle where Zoey apparently disappeared for half of it takes me back to the bland season 1.
