The A Squad being evil by choice brother me more than those who became evil though a spell. The A Squad wanted to be on the winning side and they thought SPD was going to lose the war. Anyone who have no faith on the good guys winning shouldn't be rangers in the first place.

Yeah, I don't think that Bruce Kalish even understood how Power Rangers work when he actually greenlit this idea in the finale. Especially when it comes to writing in evil Power Rangers. I mean, it would've been better if the A-Squad had just said that they only worked for Gruumn because he paid them a lot of money, or he could offer them a position in power and maybe a place among his personal army as higher-ranks once SPD has fallen and the entire gagalaxy is under the command of O.M.N.I the Magnificence. Anything that wpukd work other than "Oh, we just want to be on the winner side for seemingly no reason other than the fact that we have no faith on the good guys winning!" Seriously, that's just stupid.

Ya the set up of them going bad wasn't handled well. We should have had them around more before they disappeared to set up they possibly bad. And it should have been hinted more that they just went bad for x reason.

I mean... Bridge did read something was off about them before they left, hinting that they were corrupt before Gruumm even offered them a deal.

Sure but one tiny hint then nothing to they returned. They should have been around a little more. Saw something wasn't right. Then they leave and what not. Would have been fun to see full evil team arch like with in space with psycho rangers.

SPD established everybody in the future is a sellout. Plus having A-Squad be evil by choice presents an interesting side you don't see PR often as it means they essentially sold out their own planet. That's something Power Rangers would never consider doing again.

Would have been fun to see full evil team arch like with in space with psycho rangers. On the one hand, I kind of agree that more development for them would've been good. On the other hand... I kind of like how it wasn't completely and totally obvious from the beginning. And besides, at least we actually got a hint. It didn't just come out of nowhere.

I know this sounds kinda derivative, but it would have been awesome if A-Squad returned a little earlier than Finale, (obviously Similar to Psycho rangers) and taken Kruger captive, This way we would have seen a little more of A-SQUAd's personalities and also a great showing for B-squad who would be victorious even without a mentor.
