-Ravi episode. -Wow, impressive. -It's kind of weird seeing Shaw out of uniform. -Again, I better not see them trying any "Don't lie" morals after this week. -Damn, Ravi is lying left and right. -Oh look, it's Ben and Betty. -Oh look, that was... really ridiculous. Moving on. -...So they ARE doing a don't lie moral. -I get why Nate and Steel were upset, he did lie to their faces and then told the truth to Devon and Zoey right in front of them. -"I'm lost, who's remodeling?" Gotta love Steel. -So, we're doing a art episode and not using Sprayloid 2 from Go-Busters? Interesting choice.
Break.
-Okay Ravi! That Instamorph was cool. -That's a pretty good monster power. -"The old rollie pollie!" Ah, Steel. -Magic paint? And we're STILL not using the paint monster? Huh. -"I'm gonna do an accent!" -I actually forgot he was the Mayor. I'm glad they're using it to their advantage. -That evil laugh joke was great. -This Global Morph-X thing is leading to something big. -Still lying, Ravi. -So Ravi's mom wants him to be GB Commander when she retires? Interesting. -...Is Kelson the painter? -The secret's out! -Oh DAMN, they were trying to throw the exploding paint ON them? That's intense.
Break.
-It's Morphin Time. -It's still pretty weird seeing the Mayor just in the Cyber Dimension. -So the rangers are getting creative without their weapons. That's good to see. -Oh damn, let's go Shaw! -...And now he went out too easy. -Zord time. -I kinda wish the finisher was them just crushing the Gigadrone. That would've been great. -Virus Eliminated. -Time for a heart to heart. -That was a nice scene. -Oh look, Ben and Betty... hilarious?
The moral didn't sit right, but the rest of the episode was good.

A solid episode today. Nice to get a Ravi focus episode. And for him to finally come clean with the commander that he loves art. I am happy she accepted his interest yet was still mad at the lies he told. The fights where pretty solid. And evox plan was a nice one.

It was a good episode. Nice brief usage of Sentai Footage during the first fight with Keytron. Really glad Ravi finally admitted his hobby to his mom and she felt bad that she was the reason he kept his talent hidden. So for her to encourage her son to embrace his talent and they openly revealed he painted the mural was awesome! I'd forgotten about the Heat Crash-esque attack used in the giant battle.
I wonder how Scrozzle reacted upon learning that Evox had possessed Devon's dad. That's something that needs to be revealed.

I hope we get more civilian Blaze and Roxy scenes soon. I liked the new dynamic between Devon and Blaze and seeing Ravi and Roxy so affectionate.
Ben and Betty … just go away already. I mean, when you think about it, it seemed sometimes like Bulk and Skull's main function in the plot was to fall into whatever food was around, but their characters had surprising depth. Victor and Monty never had that -- Bulk and Spike, not really -- the most Ben and Betty have had, I think, was last week when Ben went all protective older brother on her.
There was a decent moral, I think; despite how condescending Nate and Steel were, they had a point.
Does Jazz's opening credit, where he sort of whips his head to the side like he's in a shampoo commercial, make anyone else cringe?

My favorite line of the episode was when Roxy made fun of Scrozzle for using his time to watch paint dry. I love the antagonistic relationship between the two -- between this and "never leave a data chip behind," there's some comedy material there.

As "Pierre", Keytron is portrayed by Kelson Henderson, who also does the voice of Cruise.

As "Pierre", Keytron is portrayed by Kelson Henderson, who also does the voice of Cruise. Nice. But yeah, I have finally seen the episode and I do seem to recall that this was an adaptation of Go-Busters Mission 22: "The Beautiful Avatar, Escape" which ironically was the debut episode of Roxy's counterpart, Escape. Oh and the subplot of that episode involved a kid who made a prank call to the Go-Busters saying that he's in danger because he wants to impress his friends at school. Very different from the plot that we've gotten in adaptation with this episode. At least this episode was more focused on Ravi trying to tell his mom that he was secretly painting behind her back and actually told her that he wants to have a hobby outside of being a Power Ranger. But, overall, not a bad episode and the best thing about this episode... NO F@#$'N KID OF THE WEEK CHARACTERS TAKING ALL THE FOCUS AWAY FROM THE POWER RANGERS IN THIS EPISODE!!!

I don’t get why the Commander hates joy so much.
Yeah okay Nate he lied, but y’all *know* why he’s so guarded about this.
YES KELSON
So far season 2 is doing much better with making the Robotrons not just bulky tronics 👍 They have personalities and specific skills.
So I’m confused, is Evox always in control of the Mayor? Does the real mayor even still exist?
The Ultrazord landing on the monster was great.
If they make it out that Ravi’s the one in wrong here...
“How am I? Knowing you lied to me all this time? I’m not good.” AND WHOSE FAULT IS THAT!?
Oh okay she admitted it.
Having him come sign it was a nice ending.
This was a’ight. One thing I wish was that we had the real Roxy here to be supportive of Ravi.
