Looks like I was right, the Sunday strip they used today was partially modified/rewritten from an older strip in 2014. Looks like that's how far back we're going, a mere five years, back to when MJ learned that Marvella 2 was in production and signed up to reprise her role. I remember reading that story, the villain in it is Mysterio!

Man, I'm going to miss recapping new material, since the whole Marvella II storyline is very fresh in my mind and doesn't feel like ground I want to cover again, and I enjoy the strip so I can't bring myself to snark on it either. I wish they'd have reran the first time she became Marvella back in the early 2000s. Here's a post from Alex Saviuk detailing his long history with the strip, he says Marvel could not bring themselves to continue the strip without Stan (which further indicates the promised strip revamp might not focus on Spidey) and he reveals at the end there are still two unpublished Sunday strips left over covering the adventures in Australia www.spidermancrawlspace.com/2019/03/23/the-end-of-the-spider-man-newspaper-strip-by-roy-thomas-and-alex-saviuk/Scott Snyder is bringing Kid Jon back for an issue of Justice League www.cbr.com/scott-snyder-superboy-justice-league-debut/

Someone on the comments section for the Bleeding Cool clickbait article on Heroes In Crisis claims to have read the issue early, he says there's a "fundamental change" to Ivy that some may not like.

Ok, read Heroes In Crisis Ivy was resurrected by Wally from the rose that Harley dropped into the water a few issues ago, so Ivy is all plant now

King's contribution to 'Tective 1000 was a story where Bruce gathers all of his loved ones together for a roof-top selfie. Cosy, but I have no idea if this is canon or not, as Selina is present, Dick is Nightwing again, Babs is in her current outfit, Tim is there with Spoiler and not with Young Justice, and Bruce is still wearing his post-wedding/pre-doomsday clock outfit.
Amazing Spider-Man: The Taskmaster and Black Ant partnership is over, The Iguana died, MJ worried a bit about Peter and spared a centipede that was gnawing at her head, reflecting on the time she killed a rat in Kraven's Last Hunt and feeling proud of how far she's come along now...but then it's revealed that the big bad of Spencer's run, the Centidemon, is in her apartment watching her sleep

New interview with Bendis on Word Baloon. Talks about the 50/50 reaction to Jon being aged up, tries to defend Lois and Clark's decision to let Jon travel with Jor-El ("everyone has a blind spot for family"), describes Leviathan as an "anti-event" which involves a lot of DC's prominent investigators and detectives, and reveals editorial forced him to change the ending of this week's issue of Action Comics Also, he talks spoilers for Young Justice After the Gemworld arc, the team won't immediately be returning to Earth

With the cliffhanger of today's Justice League, I'm beginning to regret the amount of exposure DC are giving Lois Lane lately...especially when they seem hell bent on depicting her in the worst ways possible.
Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History#2 was a treat for Spider-Man fans, making fun of the Clone Saga (and even reintroducing fans to the fake Aunt May that died in ASM#400) and climaxing with a retelling of Peter and MJ's airport reunion from the JMS era, with Cosmic Ghost Rider revealing he 'ships the Parkers together and admires them for always persevering and finding each other no matter what the obstacle.

Doomsday Clock now delayed by 6 weeks www.newsarama.com/44209-doomsday-clock-10-pushed-back-2-weeks.htmlIn less depressing news regarding books I like: My most anticipated title came out this week: MAJOR X! It was terrible. In actuality it was War of the Realms. It's definitely off to a bombastic start & I look forward to the tie-ins. Young Justice reveals Connor's kids is named Martha & it's really making me wonder about his history at this point but we get a nice group hug of the between the og YJ members. Immortal Hulk continues it's deepcuts into Hulk lore as Betty is revealed to become a Red Harpy instead of Red She-Hulk & Joe Fixit returns. & Deathstroke gives an accurate commentary towards the current TT in the Terminus Agenda.
