Apologizes for taking so long to open. Was taking care of some things and didn't expect to not be finished before the episode airs.

'Car Trouble' was good episode. In it, the rangers fight an electricity stealing monster while Calvin finally get his dream job. Victor and Monty was good in this episode. Victor finally did something heroic, but it cost him his powers. The agent who hired Victor show that he was a coward, running from Victor and Monty, instead of telling them the truth. Calvin learn a lesson and we got a new subplot. I can't wait for the next episode.

An enjoyable episode today. I like the monster and his power set. I also liked his vo. Any one catch his name. He sounded very familiar. The fights where solid to during the episode. The Calvin focus worked very well. Him thinking he is the best wanting to drop out of school for work. But then learns to stay in school to learn as much as he can worked out well. As for the Victor and Monty plot. I thought the spy angle was stupid. When they could have just had Victor zapping people for fun or him using it for get rich scheme like the fart spray. I did enjoy seeing Calvin use lion fire armor.

Saved this from earlier -Still playing it loose with the term "Earth's Greatest Ninja", I see. -Damn it! Already? -Bio Rythym energy? -..You've gotta be kidding me. -THAT'S what leads us into the theme song? REALLY? -Calvin's a mechanic. -"You're still in high school? I don't believe it." Insert casting joke here. -A ranger is going to drop out of school? That's different. -"You're not even close to being done with school" Isn't he like 19? -Calvin's name tag being yellow was kind of a cool touch. (Was the other guy's? I don't remember) -MORE TRAINING! Where was this throughout the rest of the series? Why would they start showing so much NOW? -The guy isn't... really wrong. -Have we had a solo Yellow morph sequence yet? This would've been a perfect time for one.
Break.
-Do they really need to see the inside of Calvin's helmet on the communicator? Weird note, I know. -Voltipede has a pretty cool design. -When was the last time we saw Lion Fire mode? Feels like it's been a while. -They can... teleport?! -Stop showing Levi's morpher... it's bad. -"How can we fix it?" Maybe ask the guy named "Mick Kanic" -"I've never seen anything like this." Pipes? -"I was just passing by" Mick's awesome. -I thought Mick was a slave in space? Did he graduate BEFORE that? -00 Sven is a good pun. -007 exists in the PR Universe? -Ha slapstick HA
Break.
-"You really are a great mechanic" it would've been funny if Calvin wondered why he acted so surprised. -"We're gonna unplug you, for good!" Kinda badass. -Somebody should probably pick that up. -...Did the Basherbots disappear in a fart cloud? -LION FIRE YELLOW! -Damn, that's awesome! -More Lion Fire Yellow, please. That was awesome. -Tynamon! -...Well that's different. -Oh joy. Zords. -Lazy cockpit. -Why do they not have their armor when they shoot out of the Megazord, again? -00 Sven returns. -Victor did something good for once! -His nametag is yellow, nevermind. -DUN DUN DUUUNNN
Good episode. It was filler that set up a little plot, so that was good to see. I liked it.

Nice episode, but I do hope that we will get more serialized episodes for the remainder of the show.

Overall pretty good episode. Nice story, cool to see Lion Fire Yellow. Calvin's focus was used well. I actually have a friend who took a Similar route but with a different job. I wouldn't recommend it, but he ended up successful.
The plot with Tynamon is interesting. I like him and I don't know why. But I do.

Voltipede... He looks crazy And Victor and Monty are gonna mess this up Nice car... Old school. Starter Motor??.... Okay Calvin got a job must be 18 And hes a drop out... Hayley said hes far from finishing school.... okay I would not mind Calvin being replaced. Why does Calvin look like he chews tobacco?? I love how just throw random zords out just to remind you they still have it.... Is the Lion Fire ZOrd done for?? Im starting to understand Micks role since hes getting more tv time Mick forgot to mention hes been in rangerville for years... lol So the agent is not gonna question how he conducts electricity Basher bots are getting a lot more time. Dope moves Calvin with the Lion Armor why Pink Ranger couldnt arm up? Ninja Blaze Zord has been gettin a lot of tv time... lol Victor did something... Wait dude actually let him drop out of school and was he even out long enough to drop out... Its only been a day Kinda curious on what they are gonna do with the Fusion star... We shall see...
Not a bad episode. Typical ranger episode. 3... The monster was cool. The battle was decent. Story was good. Calvin and Hayley shouldve had some sort of arguement. She was just about to ride with him droppin out of HS...

As for the Victor and Monty plot. I thought the spy angle was stupid. When they could have just had Victor zapping people for fun or him using it for get rich scheme like the fart spray. Aren't we getting tired of those already, though? At least the writers did something different to them this time. Also, I legit laughed when Monty said that a mission so secret Victor won't know what he's doing fits Victor very well, something I never did when they went with their slapstick antics.

Sure but the whole spy out of blue was silly. When a get rich scheme would have fit more.

As silly as it is, at least Victor did something useful this time.

This one was kind of interesting. A ranger quitting school to work is actually kind of a fresh plot idea. I like the rangers were outwardly supportive of him even if they clearly didn't think this was the right choice.
And the monster actually affecting the town in a way that was kind of a mystery (to the characters, at least) was nice.
Thing is, when they're not trampling on someone else's efforts or engaging in toilet humour, I actually like Victor and Monty. When the writers actually try they can emulate the best of Bulk and Skull with them. Victor saved the city but lost his chance at prestige in the process. That is a GOOD plot for once.
And a surprisingly good pro-education message. Well done PR.
