Plot
The story begins 1,000 years ago. During that period, the universe enjoyed undisputed peace. Those who opposed the planet's safety were in hiding or destroyed, thanks in no small part to the Crystal Guardians along with Paulus Logan,the Prince of the Earth Kingdom. During this time of peace, Prince Paulus met and fell in love with Serenity, the beautiful princess of the Moon kingdom. It was expected that the pair would soon wed and spend the rest of their days strengthening the bonds between the Earth and Moon kingdoms, ensuring everlasting bliss for one and all. Unfortunately, not everyone was at ease with the way things were going. Beryl, the Moon Kingdom's sorceress and trusted adviser to the princess fancied the Earth Prince like many of the women between the two kingdoms but unlike those other women, Beryl refused to sit idly by while Paulus was set to wed another. In an act of desperation, Beryl tapped into the forbidden dark power of the Negaverse an obtained unspeakable power that she used to lay waste to the Moon Kingdom, killing nearly all of its inhabitants, including the four Crystal Guardians. Once Beryl turned her attention to Serenity, she fired a single blast of dark energy, forcing Paulus to act out of desperation and jump in front of the blast while firing one of his own, causing a large explosion that killed himself, Beryl, and Serenity but much to Paulus's shock, he didn't die and neither did Beryl, discovering that the cause of all of this destruction is an immortal and so is he, meaning that he would have to live with this failure forever. Before Beryl could claim her 'prize', a mysterious figure intervened and forced Beryl away and Paulus vowed to get revenge on the woman who ruined his life and killed all those dearest to him. Fast forward to present day and Beryl's forces have grown by leaps and bounds and the task of defending the Earth has fallen on Paulus once again alongside the reincarnated Crystal Guardians to defeat the Negaverse and avenge his fallen comrades.
