I don't even get what was such a big deal about this mini-series in the first place. I mean, I was expecting to like it. But I just couldn't because I didn't find the story that interesting at all. I don't know, maybe it's because each episode was cut down to at least 10 minutes, or maybe there wasn't enough time to fully expand more on the characters, individually like how it was in regular Kyoryuger. Or it could be the fact that maybe it's our expectations being set so high up.
What do you think? Is Dino Force Brave too overhyped or not?

I haven't watched the full thing but it's more of a mini series. Or really if you put it all together could been a TV movie thing like those movies x shows get.

I thought it was better than the original Kyoryuger. A common complaint about Kyoryuger is that King steals too much of the glory and contradicts his "We're a team!" catchphrase. Juyong really means it when he calls his friends and himself a team and points out their strongest attributes that allow them to beat Brave Kyoryu Gold. He may be the true Dragon King with the power to destroy a planet but he still relies on his friends and understands the importance and principle of teamwork.
With the exception of Nobuharu, I liked the team of Kyoryuger Brave a lot more than the "team" of Kyoryuger. The only problem was that 12 episodes prevented all the rangers from getting focus, namely Pureun and Dohee. Their characters weren't explored at all but at least I can say Pureun was more interesting and comical than Souji and Dohee wasn't trying to steal people's crushes like Amy. I always felt that Nobuharu was subjected to a lot of abuse and insults from his "friends" and that annoyed me.
The white powered up versions of the Voltasaurs looked cool and it was interesting how they switched the rangers and dinos. Black got Stegonsaw, Blue got Shovecera, Green got Parasazer and Pink got Rapx.
And let's not forget about the revolutionary CGI mecha action like Brave Kyoryujin vs Brave Pteraiden Oh. That was one of the most awesome mecha fights I ever saw.
The Japanese dub that I watched had some familiar voice actors like Kamen Rider Saga and one of Yakumo's various love interests.
In conclusion, I must answer no the question. For what it was, Kyoryuger Brave was an amazing short series with likable characters, impressive action and a unique story revolving around the brothers Juyong and Juhyeok that was so good that the Ninja Steel staff probably took inspiration from it for the Brody and Levi plot. I thought it was even better than Ninninjer.

I don't think it was particularly overhyped. A lot of people seemed to lose interest in it because it was Korean, didn't have the original cast and was only ten minutes long. I didn't see a huge amount of discussion of it

Pretty much this. After the whole "Korean Power Rangers/Zyu2 taken to the extreme" thing wore off, it was basically just minisodes of fight scenes and not much else.

As much as I like the series, I has to post that it was a bit overhyped, On the other hand it's perfect to adapt into an American series by a certain 20 episodes per year kid network. I won't mention the name of that network.

Dino Force Brave/Kyouryuger Brave was OKish, but I prefer it over Kyouryuger. I know people like the original, but only I like it only for Koichi Sakamoto's direction. And nothing else. In Kyouryuger Brave/Dino Force Brave the characters seems two-dimensionals at best, but I prefer them over the original cast. Everybody loves Ian, Amy or Nossan, but for me, they didn't seems to be so memorable characters. The plot of DF Brave was OKish too, but I think it works better with the format, and also the writer didn't trying to make a super ambitious series with contrived plot. It's simple, fun, with action and well-paced. SO, better than I thought it could imagine it. We can blame Kyouryuger's original writer for dropped the ball in the final episodes, and to give Daigo too much focus in , but the results are in sight. I don't know if DF Brave was overhyped, but people was expecting something that reinforce the idea of "See, you can create an original Power Rangers' series outside Japan, with a whole original footage, not just adapting Super Sentai". But let's face it, THIS is the best we can get of a new original, outside Japan, original footage power Rangers series. So, kudos to Korea. Well done.

Everybody loves Ian, Amy or Nossan, but for me, they didn't seems to be so memorable characters. Yeah, uhmm...about that. I think Ian Yorkland is a lot more memorable as a character than both Amy and Nobuharu. I mean, hello!!! He had more of an actual character arc in the finale than those two. Hell, he's even more bearable to watch than Daigo, in my opinion. Now for the black ranger in Dino Force Brave. I think he's the less-awful of all the other characters. Since I out-right hated Dino Force Brave's blue, green and pink. Seriously....I hated those three characters. HATED THEM!!! But Red and Gold, they're just "Meh!" for me. Now, I actually did managed to rewatched all of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger and well, it is okay. But, I think they could've done better with the finale. Now, in my defense. Toei should've given the 100 Years After V-cinema an actual TV series since that had more potential of a spin-off series than Dino Force Brave do. But, I am sorry. I just did not like Dino Force Brave's entire plot. Or the villains. I mean, if the show had better writers that have absolutely zero controversies in their reputations with the fans and Toei, then perhaps we should've gotten something that wasn't pandering to the Korean fans only.

Well, I can't dispute Ian had a good arc, an it was better than Nossan Or Amy, IMHO. Yet, in the long story of Super Sentai, certainly I can't put it in a list of best Black Rangers, or memorables. Heck, even I could put Goushi in a list of memorable Rangers, even if he's boring as hell, only because Zyuranger!, or Gunpei, even if I can't stand most of Go-onger. I on´t know about the writers or controversies, but of course it gonna be a prouct for Korean audiences, because they put the money.
