Why was this crossover even made? Like seriously, what was the point of Saban Brands adapting the majority of Sentai footages from "Shinkenger VS Go-Onger" into 99% of this crossover between her Samurai rangers and Scott Truman from Power Rangers RPM? Why couldn't they just skip "Shinkenger VS Go-Onger" and just adapt the Sentai footage from Shinkenger's summer movie instead? Who cares if we're not gonna get an actual crossover between the main cast members of Samurai and RPM? We certainly won't miss it. Plus, we didn't get any real crossovers between the main cast members of Ninja Storm and Wild Force, SPD and Mystic Force, Jungle Fury and Operation Overdrive and RPM and Jungle Fury during the Disney-era years. And we know why. Same goes for why we didn't get any actual crossover with the main cast members of Dino Charge and Megaforce as well as the main cast members of Beast Morphers and Ninja Steel. Because why does Hasbro need to keep wasting all their money giving us traditional yearly crossover events when we can just wait for respective anniversary shows to come out?

Like seriously, what was the point of Saban Brands adapting the majority of Sentai footages from "Shinkenger VS Go-Onger"Iirc Nickelodeon wanted something they could air as a tv movie so Saban Brands licensed the Shinkenger vs Go-onger movie for that purpose. Perhaps the Shinkenger movie was more expensive to license than Shinkenger vs Go-onger or maybe Saban thought a "crossover" with RPM would be a good advertisement to let kids, who were introduced to Power Rangers through Samurai, know that other series exist. This was right around the time Saban put all the past series on Netflix for the first time. To each his own. I liked it. It was nice they were able to at least get Eka Darville to voice his character in post-production. Consider how different Samurai and RPM are I think its for the best we only see one of them and morphed only. You're right. We do know why. Because Disney sucks and put the kibosh on team ups. An SPD and Mystic Force team up would have been really interesting and its frustrating we never got one. Given how hated Megaforce was there might of been executive orders in Dino Charge to not reference it. Tellingly the one representative in the Ninja Steel anniversary team-up was the best liked Megaforce Ranger and she barely does anything and conveniently never goes "Super Mega" (since Super Megaforce seemed to be universally despised Given that Tzachor seemed to have lost his job over it I'm gonna guess Saban hates Super Megaforce as much as the fans did) Probably because they wanted to adapt the Go-Busters Dino Team up instead I'm old enough to remember when fans disliked Disney that got rid of the annual crossover episode(s)

Venus, both movies were licensed. The Shinkenger: The movie footage also appeared in Clash of Red Rangers. Now I wonder why these people took great lenghts in license that movie, except if they want to use the Shark sword. But that's a lot just for a sword....

Thanks for the correction Cross. Then the only thing I can think of is Bates and/or Tzachor found the Vs Go-onger footage more interesting or there was some sort of push to advertise other Power Rangers besides Samurai existed to the target demo.
