I actually see the episode. But the Green Morphing Master didn't have a motivation beyond "I want to help". It's weird, because you could say the same for Gosei. He was the apprentice of Zordon, and Zordon wanted to help the mankind. Why? Probably because he had a feud with Rita. And Gosei? Well, his backstory isn't explored completely. But the fact he wanted to help the mankind, is not should be overlooked. I have to agree, it's not the most solid of the motivations, and I know Tzachor and Bates wanted to create Zordon 2.0 to catter in nostalgia. (Which is not different of what writers of Dino Fury are doing right now.). But believing And of course we have a disagreement. But I never treated with condescending tone, except when you started "nobody here is chill". Look, I tried to give some peace and not "enhace" more the heat here. I don't try to pick a fight. But that's where it goes further than Gosei. We learned that the Morphin Master's friends were killed in a battle, that Green broke away from them to do more good, that she did what she could to help. she made a heroic sacrifice. She wanted to help, even if it goes against her duty and the promise the Masters made. That's more than we ever learned about Gosei. We never heard of Gosei's struggles, anything about his past outside of one mention of him being Zordon's apprentice, where he even came from. To say Gosei is more of a character than her just isn't true. And while you may not have meant it, the "Oh the hypocrisy..." came off pretty condescending. That being said, I think it's safe to say we're just kinda going in circles. You don't see my points, I don't see yours. I guess we can just agree to disagree. We never see the past of Zordon either, beyond the mention of him being trapped by Rita in a time-space. The fact we didn't learn about "struggles" or if he had friends or family, or he was angry or not, before he choose the first Dino Rangers that didn't mean we have to question why he was helping the mankind. The same for Gosei. He was the apprentice of Zordon. Sure, I agree a little weak, but Zordon never was a character with poor judgement in giving power or responsabilities to somebody. So, why to question Gosei? I think you're confused between backstory and motivations. The Green Morphing Master lost friends, but why she had to break away from the rest of the Masters? Why now? After millions and millions of years since the creation of the Universe, she was say "that's it". It's waaaaaaaay more weak of a reason to break a vow. And it's weird that we're talking of a being of almost omnipotent power basically having less of a good judgement than Gosei. Gosei had more weight, even for being just "the apprentice of Zordon". That handled him with more responsabilities to do. The Green Morphing Master had way more power, but with just a cliché sad backstory (which is not a motivation). If she can jump away from the Morphing Grid a fight the villians, why she didn't do it before? It's contrived. I don't want to say I'm fully 100% of tatsuranger or how he say things, but I have to agree this seems like weak writing. It's the closest to a Deus Ex Machina. And I was responding about "the hypocrisy" because you was condescending in the tone when I was asking for "chill". I was trying to don't let the things to escalate, but aparently you didn't like my offer of peace.

As I said before, we're just not gonna agree on this topic and we have very different definitions of certain things so I don't think there's much point in arguing about it anymore, but I do wanna clarify that my message must've come off more condescending than I was intending, which I fully admit can happen since tone is hard to read through text sometimes.

New episode (Recap by Hurricanegold of Rangerboard) At Buzzblast Izzy records an exercise livestream and Jane is following it from her office while keeping it a secret from everyone else.
The livestream starts glitching right when Izzy says to go faster. Jane then does her exersice faster and faster until she bounces out of her office and down the stairs only to be caught by Izzy.
J-Borg then tells Jane that the glitch has been fixed and that 9,500 people are still watching, which makes Jane feel embarrassed. She tells J-Borg to end the stream.
Warden Garcia then congratulates Izzy on the successful stream and they joke about him participating next time. Fern then walks into Buzzblast with great news. Fern has been accepted to join the Elite Athelete's program at Oakdale College. Warden tells her that Izzy has been trying to get into it for years and reassures Izzy that she'll get accepted soon too. Amelia notes that Oakdale is a 6 hour drive from Pine Ridge, so Fern would have to move. But Izzy doesn't care about that, she's just proud of Fern.
Fern, Izzy and her dad then leave Buzzblast together. They talk about all the gear Oakdale College has and how bad the swimming pool in Pine Ridge is. But Warden tells them there's a new drainage system for the pool and shows them the key for the drill they use to make the drainage system. They are soon attacked by Mucus, some Hengemen and a Sporix Beast, Quickspine. Warden tells them to hide and flees together with Fern. Izzy faces the monsters and the other rangers soon teleport to her. They morph and fight them. Izzy fights Mucus, but soon notices Fern's cry for help. Warden and her are being attacked by Hengemen. Izzy runs to them and defeats the Hengemen.
They thank her, but Fern is still worried for Izzy and in her panic says that she loves Izzy. Fern notices that it's the first time she has said this and is scared Izzy may never find out about her feeling. But the green ranger assures her that she'll do everything to make sure Izzy is safe.
Meanwhile the other rangers are still fighting Mucus and Quickspine and are being beat by them. But Mucus doesn't care about them, they wanted to do something else but have missed their chance, she says. They teleport away.
Back at Dinohenge the Rangers talk about Quickspine being way too fast. They ask Izzy if she's up for the challenge, but she doesn't listen. She's writing Fern that everything's alright and the green Ranger saved her.
The other rangers seem to notice something's not right and Izzy admits that, while she was also accepted by Oakdale College, she actually rejected the offer because of her duties as a ranger. Izzy knows that no one will understand her decision which is why she tells the other rangers to keep it a secret, at least until she knows how to handle the situation.
At Area 62, Void King is mad at Quickspine for not being able to steal a key from the Warden. Void Queen tells Void King to calm down and Mucus persuades Void Queen to give them one more chance. He teleports away.
Izzy and Fern then meet up on the training field and Fern wants to tell her something. But she is soon interrupted by Izzy's dad who's angry at Izzy. He called Oakdale College to find out why they didn't accept her, but then heard that she actually was already accepted and rejected it. Fern is also suprised. Izzy tries to tell them that too much is happening in her life right now, but the Warden is just disappointed she kept a secret from him. He then gets a call from his wife and leaves. Fern asks Izzy again why she rejected the offer, but she can't tell her the reason for her decision. Fern then isn't sure she can keep a relationship with someone that lies to her and leaves.
Suddenly Quickspine and Hengemen appear at the training field. Quickspine wants to attack Izzy, but the Warden jumps in front of them and hurts his leg. He also drops the key to the drill and Quickspine steals it. The other rangers teleport to the field, morph and fight them. Izzy and her dad then flee. She then treats her dad's injury and they have a bonding moment. He tells her that he's okay with her decisions and probably has good reasons for it. He doesn't want to make the same mistakes with her that he did with Javi. But Warden tells Izzy to look after Fern, because she's important to her. Together they leave the scene.
The rangers manage to defeat Quickspine and he grows big. They get into their megazords and defeat him a second time. Void Queen catches the Sporix and gets the key to the drill from it.
Izzy and Javi teleport into Dinohenge to meet the other rangers and tell them that their dad is doing okay and is getting a replacement key for the drill. The rangers are sure that the original key was destroyed together with the Sporix. Amelia asks Izzy about Fern, but Fern is not answering any of Izzy's texts. On social media she even wrote that she's going to Oakdale today already. Izzy isn't sure if she should run after Fern, but the others tell her to do so.
Izzy goes to the bus station and catches Fern. They talk and Fern reveals she thinks Izzy only rejected the program cause she doesn't want to be with Fern. Izzy tells her that she can't explain why she can't come with, but that she loves Fern too. Fern asks where she knew that she likes Izzy too, cause she has never told her that before. The only one she's told about this was the green ranger. And that's when she realizes that Izzy is the green ranger and everything makes sense. They hug and Fern leaves for the bus.

Looks like thanks to the spoilers from "The Morphin master" episode to the finale thanks to zarius, another assessment I made long ago proved me to be right again, the unnecessary return of Lord Zedd.
He was a truly pointless recurring character which, thanks to spoilers, after his arrest by the Morphin masters, he never returns or is brought up ever again for the remainder of Dino Fury season 2.
I said he was only brought back for pathetic pandering and MMPR nostalgia and I was right.
He played NO crucial part in the story to the point that it would fall apart without him. Think logically, if you remove Lord Zedd and replace him with, let's say, Eras from Ryusoulger, would it be any different?
Zedd's role could have easily been filled by either Eras from Ryusoulger, or Boomtower or Shipwreck, or they could have done what Beast Morphers did and turned one of the MOTW into a recurring character like Vargile.
The only unique thing he did was remind everyone that he's from Mighty Morphin, the season that these people keep milking ad nauseam for over a decade.
These writers are so creatively inept, they truly think dangling the keys is a good substitute for good, creative writing.

I do wonder if they had other plans for Zedd, like many said about rumors of the 30th anniversary, and Johnathan Entwistle is not in charge anymore of the franchise. Seems like he's there to be less of a general. More than a minion. It's a waste if they keep using Zedd like that. I hope Cosmic Fury will be good. I feel Dino Fury's writers are writing themselves into a creative corner.

I think the fact that they didn't destroy Zedd is an indication they'll bring him back for Cosmic Fury. I wouldn't rule him out just yet, I think they'll continue it from here next season.

That seems like cattering in member berries, more than giving a new spin or something to the character. Just nostalgia. The last good villian was Sledge. And I liked Heckyll. Void Knight wasn't bad either....

Yeah, I forgot she even existed until you brought up her name. At least Lord Zedd is more memorable than her. Hell, even Walz Gil and Basco from Gokaiger were more memorable villains than Eras. Enter and Escape from Go-Busters are more memorable than Eras. Baron F@#$'n Neros from from Toqger is more memorable than Eras. Again..... BARON NEROS IS MORE MEMORABLE THAN ERAS!!! And they just re-used his suit for Cosmo Royale in Ninja Steel. Also, Lord Zedd was in season two of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. Yeah, I'm surprised that a lot of people don't seemed to talk a lot about season two of MMPR, nowadays. It's either season one or three because of the Alien Rangers mini-series. But anyways, if they had brought back let's say, Imperius from Mystic Force, or Zeltrax from Dino Thunder, or Thrax from Operation Overdrive in Dino Fury...would you care for any of these guys?! Like seriously, name one person that you know in real-life who actually cares about Thrax from Operation Overdrive.

Dino Fury's finale confirms that Lord Zedd is the villain of Cosmic Fury, as he escapes his crystal prison.
Zayto is also briefly killed off when he uses the Dino Sabre on Void Queen to restore her to normal (and she is Amelia's mother), but is revived by the Morphing Masters as Cosmic White

Now I gotta add Dino Fury's finale as one of the worst finales in Power Rangers next to Dino Super Charge's finale, Mystic Force's finale and Super Megaforce's finale. At least Ninja Storm's finale was harmless.

Little Andros magic tears stuff there but I think I can understand. Lord Zedd was the one who started it all so it makes some sense to end this universe with him being the last main villain.

I hope it's more of a case of reincarnation with Zayto than being brought to life
