Prior to being released, Jason Bischoff had plans to pitch a follow-on to Super Megaforce explaining where the pirate keys came from and ellaborate more on Gosei's early history, and his relationship with a pirate called Brig, who would eventually be corrupted and become the series new big bad 'Dreadnaught'

In my mind, Megaforce was about 5 teens protecting the nataure from the Warstar aliens and where Goldar and Scorpina were established to have originally belonged to the Warstar, but then, decided to go with Rita because... reasons. Episode #39 and #40 end the season with the Rangers winning after loosing almost every Mechazord, RoboKnight kidnapped and shown to be in the process of being re-programmed for evil by Vrak, who cloned himself and led everyone to believe that he was destroyed. The Megaforce team actually graduates after completing one last mission: retreiving an empty box, which resembles the one Gokaigers had for storing their Ranger Keys. A few years later, Super Megaforce starts with the Legendary Battle with every team fighting against the footsoldiers from their respective seasons, but end up loosing their powers when they take out Mavro's fleet, with him escaping in the very last second. Gosei and Tensou are contacted by Orion, a surviving alien from another planet completely destoryed by the Warstar, who ends up leading a new team of Rangers against Mavro's evil Armada, which is later revealed to be an upgraded version of the Warstar alines the Megaforce Rangers once fought. This causes the SM team to go look for and encounter with at least 1 veteran Ranger on their journey, who gives them approval for using their team's powers in the name of their entire team and their Ranger Keys. After a while, a new villain appears who appears to be working for the Armada, but has extra Ranger keys with him somehow, which enable Orion to eventually unlock the 6th & auxiliarry Ranger powers in the fight against the bad guys. Episode #37 and #38 is the team-up episode between Megaforce and Super Megaforce, Vrak is destoryed and RoboKnoght freed from Vrak's mind-control trough the collaboration of both Ranger teams. Episode #39 and #40: Some veteran Rangers defeat Mavro, and the Super Megaforce Rangers face off against the last of the X-Borgs. Man, I can't wait to actually write that fan fic. As for a SM sequel, no thanks. Even the first one was a discrase for both PR and Sentai.

The best (or worse, depends) with Megaforce it's: you can make a decent sequel with the series. I don't think in another series having the footage to pull this off: there were like 13 (thirteen!!!!) episodes, some of them with Basco that they were never adapted and team ups never fulfilled: Gingaman (Lost Galaxy), Megaranger (In Space), GoGo V (Lightspeed Rescue), OhRanger (Zeo). There were also some episodes of Goseiger never adapted. Basco could work with that. No other series have so many footage throw out, they can make a 20-episodes' season with that. Heck, and I didn't even talked of the movies 199 Heroes and Gokaiger: the Movie......

Well, that sounds a lot more interesting than the entire season of Super Megaforce, itself.
