It's Sports time
-Pan Global Games! -Sounds like they just summed up the moral in the first 30 seconds of the episode. -Isn't Ravi supposed to be a stickler for the rules? -And I already remember which Go-Busters episode this is. -Oh look! They remembered Nate has a different morpher. -Too bad the ranger with super strength isn't around. -I hope they adapt the scene with J working out now. I could see Steel doing that. -Cue theme music.
Break.
-Wow... I was not expecting Ravi to show up this quick. -Steel getting good humor in a serious moment. -Okay, it's Go-Busters footage, but seeing Ravi completely beating down the monster like that was awesome. -But he is talking a little too much. -Wow, and he's being an asshole now. -They can infect BUILDINGS? -Wait, two Go-Busters episodes at once? Interesting. -"He's tougher than a two dollar steak!" Okay, that was funny. -It's cool seeing a ranger trapped somewhere where they actually have to fight for their lives.
Break.
-Huh, I forgot that plan failed in Go-Busters, too. -Such a great fight scene, glad they didn't just use an original one. -Damn, Devon is getting beat down. -New zord formation time? -"The Ultrazords staff is specially designed to break into the building" ...Uh, how? -I love how the rangers keep noticing how the monster talks too much. -Devon's sarcasm is great. -"The Steel!" I'm okay with that. -Ben and Betty weren't even in this episode. Huh.
Outside of Ravi's random outburst of turning into an asshole for about 30 seconds, I liked this one.

Interesting didn't know they took 2 episodes. But isn't the first time pr has done that for 1 pr episode. But it was a decent episode. First little nods to things. Like the pan global games in town. We haven't seen it since mmpr when Kimberly left. Would have been neat if they through a nod to her during one of Zoey mom reports. Also did any one catch the Levi Weston posters during the episode.
The fights with the robotrons on ground and megazord forms where pretty good. Was interesting to see red fight all alone. And the debut of ultrazord was nice. Also if my TV Guide is right we have episode next week so woo if right and not going on mid break at episode 8 like last few years been.

Interesting that they updated the opening theme a bit, AND used Levi Weston posters during the fight theme!!!

It was a good episode. Just wish they didn't make Dumbelltron cannon fodder. Two friends of mine would have liked the wrestling-like commentary. Anyone else wish they were using the MESSIAH cards?

Who's to say the cards couldn't still be used in a upcoming episode. I could see it happening.

Because some of the monsters that were created from them have all ready appeared. Domeloid, Hourglassloid, Puppetloid, etc.

Well the cards could be used in a different way.
So question I was looking at a few different sites and they list this episode not being episode 8 which it was aired at. And that it was meant to be a special episode (or aired later in the season). Is it true it was meant to be a special episode?

Weirdly enough, this is like the only episode that doesn't have Ben and Betty in it. Ain't it strange?!

^Well, the only reason for that being the case is because if you were to go look at the production code, it is actually episode 21 rather then episode 08.

Hmm I wonder why as it seems like a regular episode vs the holiday episodes. Wonder if that means we don't have any holiday ones this season.

That's what I was wondering. Perhaps Hasbro convinced Nick that they don't need to have a Christmas and Halloween themed episode during the second season of the adaptation.

Personally I be happy if they did so we only have to do clip show holidays for one of the 2 seasons. Then question what would second season be. Cause I can't really see why this episode is considered a special one when ultimately it was just a run of the mill episode that could be any point in the season.
