"Spider-Man Unmasked"
This was definitely my favourite episode this season, it creates unique opportunities for Peter on school grounds, and what he can and now cannot do or be, putting his trust in not just his team, but also his peers.
This also may be the best animated version of Mary Jane we've had since the days of Spectacular Spider-Man. She's been used in very small two minute doses, but they are always full of warmth and you're left with a happy feeling after each interaction. Here, MJ's advise to crucial to Peter resolving the tensions within his team for keeping things from them for so long. MJ also comes off as knowing more than she lets on, which fits the character we all love. She is a true friend and confidante, and her shooting hoops at Peter, teasing him over his lack of skill, and making herself and Peter laugh is just so much more than what I was typically expecting from just four minutes of them. These two will always be keepers for one another.

And I sure now that marvel studies controls marvel tv. We will see a marvel studios produced animated show down the road same with avengers avengers or xmen.

Promo for the season finale. Peter and MJ go to the high school dance together when symbiotes attack
Looks like they potentially give away the final scene of the season at the end of the trailer, with MJ being totally cool with having their date interrupted by the symbiotes, and still giving Peter a nice waltz in the streets of their neighbourhood.

She's only appeared three times this season and, while this show had so much wrong with it, the fact it can lay claim to having the best developed Peter/MJ relationship in an animated medium for a considerable while is saying something.

Season ended last night. Was fun, wrapped up some major threads neatly while keeping some open in case the show returns for a fourth season. Peter and MJ became a couple, Miles is now living with Peter and May, Anya appears to be dating Miles too. Horizon was destroyed by the Venom-possessed Max Modell so Peter will now have to attend Midtown again, which is fine as it means he and MJ can be together there.
