On another note, my son who just turned 18 this past weekend sent in an audition for PRDF! Waiting to see if he gets a virtual callback now... exciting!

Simon Bennet has joined Rangerboard (as member "Pookina") and confirmed that Chip is still involved with the show Source

Oh that nice to hear chip isn't gone totally yet. Maybe he decided to stay for this next series to help transition the new folks into how to handle the show. And be more of a consultant type role.

Could we be seeing more of Jason next season? Austin St. John has had some discussions....

Would make sense if show is set in prime universe to have someone from any of the previous Dino theme shows to be there in some type of role.

Not sure when we'll hear back, or if we will, but here's hoping! As far as ASJ appearing in next season more? Well, he's had discussions... that's all he can say. So nothing confirmed yet. Would be cool if he came back in the role of a mentor for the team though...

well we will likely know by the end of the summer. Once casting is finished. Then of course if filming does start on time in sept/oct range as it does in nz sept to dec for season 1 and jan to april for season 2 filming. I believe as i posted an article awhile ago nz filming for shows/film is to resume in late summer. And i believe nz covid cases are real low.

Illuminerdi, who have a reliable track record for PR spoilers, have some new info
-Casting crew began callbacks last weekend
-It is expected an older character will be back for the whole season
-They're guestimating there will be a Beast Morphers/Dino Fury team-up involving Scrozzle (based on what we know of the finale, this is likely)
-Dino Fury might be only one season
-There will be some kind of announcement concerning Abram Rodriguez (Nate) which will address complaints regarding his 'lack of Ranger presence' (perhaps that means he...toughens up next season?)

Sounds interesting if they can go back to 1 year over a year and be 32 to 40 episodes out of nick I for one would be happy. Also bringing someone back be nice. Same if we can return of last series and present series teamup.

If the rumor is true with Dino Fury being just a one season adaptation instead of two, then perhaps it may be possible that Hasbro either convince Nick to expand the episode count for a season to make it a one season adaptation instead of two or it is possible that Hasbro is deciding to move Power Rangers away from Nick after Dino Fury.

As much as folks would like for show to leave nick. Honestly where else on broadcast TV could it go that has more folks able to see the show. Again I can't see the show going to streaming only.
Personally I rather go back to the old format one year one season of 32 to 40 episodes. I said it many times over the years. You think nick would have loved a show they could be airing all year long with new episodes and that the show would already be done or 3/4 done of filming before season even started. So there is no issues with filming and what not.
Also on season count it's such bull for power Rangers they only want 22 episodes a year. When nick of past and present have had animated and live action shows season go more then 20. Like most cartoons are 26th. Then there was that kid soap opera style show that ran for like 80 episodes over 3 seasons. So honestly I don't see why pr couldn't have had even low end of 32 a year.
personally I bet nick will renew for another round of seasons like it has been doing over the years when renewals have happened.

woah i would never expect that. As he said at cons many times he doesnt want to return due to show not union and still have issues with past folks who are not around with his issues when he left. but would be cool if he did return.
